While investigating some time disturbances in Cardiff, the Doctor discovers a girl who can bend time and is a powerful telepath. This is a rewrite of my story The Pickpocket. Hopefully a much better version.

Kate Lethbridge-Stewart is outstanding as the leader of UNIT. She knows the legacy her father left has been a lot to live up to, so she didn't try. She tried to make it her way. Can a surprise visit from the Doctor change anything?

Ace and Graham have been flirting for the past 4 months since meeting in that Volcano. Everyone is getting tired of it, when Kate sends Ace and Graham on a mission, something happens to Graham that makes Ace confront her feelings sooner than she was planning.

In the wake of the Game Station and the Doctor's regeneration, the Time Lords and Rose are hoping for relatively quiet travels. But the Emissary can't shake the feeling that something is still following them. And when secret government organizations refuse to play nice, it's safe to say that it will be anything but smooth sailing.

She learned it the hard way. Some people were never meant to exist. Not even the Doctor wants her as a companion. But then the Master saves her from certain death and discovers that this human girl might be of more use to him than he expected. (SI)

After Bad Wolf Bay, Rose is still hung up about the real Doctor, while Metacrisis struggles to adjust to his human body. Both hope to gain something from going back to having adventures "like in the good old days". After meeting the most recent companions, and returning home to get a call from Graham concerning young Yaz, she keeps calling Graham for two reasons, to check up on Yaz and to get to know Graham. This work was inspired by Those Left Behind on Ao3 and the book by Sophie Aldred, At Childhood's End.
