Chapter 14: blood bath

A wide smile stretched across Blackout's face when he saw both Atem and Phantom.

"Just who I was waiting for. The two spirits of vengeance Dark Angel and Silent Phantom. I owe you two for ruining my beautiful face."

"You did it to yourself Blackout. We will bring your path of destruction will come to an end." growled Atem darkly.

"You are more than welcome to try Atem. I will be more than happy to bring your bodies to my employer." hissed Blackout. Bakura gasped softly when he saw the two riders.

"Atem...? Phantom...?" Bakura asked it question.

"It's good to see you again old friend. We will talk more after we deal with Blackout." replied Phantom. Bakura nodded his head as he noticed Seto's wounds. He wasn't the only as both their human hosts noticed it as well.

*Seto's been hurt.* the two stated in unison.

*Don't worry Hikari (light). I will use a shadow realm creature to heal him.* Atem stated. Phantom engaged Blackout with a right hook to the face allowing Atem time to call on the shadow realm for help. Seto was confused but didn't say anything as the rider could have easily passed as Yugi's twin held his millennium scale in his hand.

"Who are you and how did you get ahold of the scale?" Seto asked Atem. Atem simply smiled and handed the item to Bakura.

"Come and aid me oh servants of the shadow realm. Come forth Janis, the Lightsworn Mender and Cure Mermaid." Atem shouted out. In a flash of light two creatures that looked identical to the pictures featured of these two Duel Monsters creatures suddenly appeared before Atem

"How?" Seto asked as his mind tried to unscramble itself. He knew that the millennium scale had magic but this was new even for him. Atem turned towards the two creatures.

"Janis, please heal Punisher's arm. Cure Mermaid, please heal all other wounds sustained by both Punisher and Bakura." stated Atem. The two shadow realm creatures went to work.

'How did he know who I am? How did he get my millennium scale? What in the world is going on here?' Seto thought to himself. The two shadow realm creatures worked quickly while Phantom battled against Blackout. Even the ghost angel was having a hard time with the white vampire. Atem could smell when Phantom's blood hit the air as his eyes changed color. Bakura reacted quickly drawing his own blood and feeding it to Atem. The wound instantly healed once Atem removed his blood stained lips from Bakura's arm.

"Bakura?" Atem questioned weakly.

"The name is Blade now. This vampire is unlike any that I have faced against before. Do you think you have enough magic to summon something to deal with this creature?" Bakura asked.

*Yugi? I need to unleash my full powers. Forgive me Abiou (partner) but it may cause us to go into a blood frenzy.* Atem told his host.

*I trust you Atem. Do what you need to do.* Yugi replied. Atem turned to Bakura nodding his head weakly. The two creatures that healed Seto disappeared once their task was complete. Bakura handed Seto back the millennium scale. The three millennium items began to resonate as power began to fill into Atem.

"Blade... Punisher... Do you think that you can help keep Blackout busy long enough for me to summon a powerful creature from the shadow realm?" asked Atem. Seto armed himself with one of his weapons as Bakura did the same with his own weapons.

"Certainly." the two replied as they rushed into battle joining Phantom in fighting Blackout. Atem allowed the power to fill his being as he allowed his true form to manifest. The scent of blood was nearly driving him insane. But Atem focused on his task.

"I call upon the ancient gods of the past to come forth to help me. To obey my commands and give me their strength. I Atem call upon the ancient covenant set up long ago call upon one of the three ancient gods that rule not only the shadow realm but also ancient Egypt. I call upon the ancient god Oblisk the Tormentor to come forth!" Atem chanted. The skies became ever darker as the only glow that was visible was the three millennium items and the fire that danced upon Phantom's head. Atem's aurora became even more demonic as his eyes became all blood red. Oblisk the Tormentor became physical before Atem as he could sense why he had been summoned. Oblisk's strength and power flowed into Atem as he opened up his wings fully flying at Blackout at top speed. The three heroes leapt out of the way allowing Atem to battle Blackout.

"What... The?" Blackout asked as he was tackled into the air.

"You've taken your last innocent Blackout!" Atem said darkly he was coming close to a blood thrall with the scent of blood that lingered on Blackout taking them both sky ward. The sky began to lighten showing dawn was coming.

"No... you wouldn't! You can't kill me for I am immortal." roared out Blackout as he tried to fight off Atem. But Atem's strength seemed far stronger as he saw the rider's eyes light up.

"It is time that you felt the pain of the innocence that you have caused. Their blood remains on your hands. Your rain of terror will finally come to an end!" Atem hissed as hellfire shot out of his eyes. Blackout screamed out in pain as the penance stare forced him to feel everything almost ten fold. Atem's body throbbed in hunger as his fangs fully lengthen as he sank them into Blackout's neck. Atem drank long and deep as dawn finally arose burning Blackout's body. It was a nasty way to go but the vampire deserved it. Atem landed as he looked at the three heroes that stood before him. Phantom had kept them back as he knew that his friend was deep within the blood thrall. Oblisk came before Atem stretching out its arm.

{Feed upon my blood Atem. Quench your thirst. It's over. The evil has been destroyed. The innocence have been saved.} Oblisk stated. Atem allowed Oblisk to feed his blood. Slowly his hunger died down forcing Atem to transform back into Yugi, complete with his new found vampiric wings. Before Yugi lost consciousness he was caught in Oblisk's arms. Oblisk handed the unconscious Yugi to Phantom who nodded his head to Oblisk before the Egyptian god vanished from sight.

T.V. announcer: And welcome back to the Riders tribute. And here are you host's Scrletfyre and Drangonstar101. *audience claps*

Scrletfyre *fire still dancing around her shows Phantom, Atem, Dragonstar101, and Box Ghost badly beaten up*: Sorry about last time folks hopefully certain people have learned that I am not the right person to piss off.

Yugi, Danny, and Bakura *come out of hiding. speaking in unison*: Is it over?

Atem and Phantom *go over to the two teens. speaking in unison*: Damn scrlet. No wonder why you have earned your name. And people think that we are bad.

Scrletfyre *turning to the Box Ghost*: Now what do you have to say for yourself?

Box Ghost *mumbles*: Sorry. *vanishing shouting out* BEWARE!

Dragonstar101 *shakes head*: I for one am glad that's over with. Frankily scrlet, I never knew that you had it in you.

Scrletfyre: Just goes to show you that you can't judge people by their appearance. *turns to the audience* Don't worry we will have a special guest here to speak with us do without further ado please welcome to the show Oblisk the Tourmentor. *audience claps*

Oblisk: thank you for having me.

Dragonstar101: glad to have you on the show. now tell us how do you like haveing a more active roll for the story?

Oblisk: Its good so far. I believe that someone voted to have me appear in the story.

Scrletfyre: Well when Dragonstar101 decided to a crossover involving Danny Phantom, Yugioh, and Ghost Rider, I knew that some of Yugi's and Atem's cards would be used.

Oblisk *nodding*: That makes sense.
