chapter 16: meeting with Iron Man
The plane ride to Wisconsin Missouri was a silent one. The main reason for this was that no one had anything to say. It wasn't uncomfortable or comfortable silents it was just there. Once the plane landed Yugi, Danny, and Seto started to make there way to the gate when...
"Daniel? is that you my boy?" someone called out.
'Please don't let it be Vlad. Please anyone but him. Please!' Danny pleaded within his mind. Unfortunately standing not five feet from the three of them was a tall older man wearing a business suit with white hair pulled into a low ponytail, gray eyes, and pale skin. This was Vlad Master, Danny's parents old college buddy and someone he didn't like all to well for personnel reason. Seto glared at Vlad as the man had been trying to buy out Kaiba Corp for years now even before he took over as CEO. Yugi glared as well. Danny had told the teen more then a few story about the billionaire. All of them weren't all to faltering.
"What do you want Vlad?" Danny asked venom clearing in his voice.
"Come now Daniel. That had been a accident. You know as well as I that your fath-" Vlad never got to finished that sentence what with Yugi's fist making contact with Vlad's face. "Why you-?!" Vlad stop mid sentence when he met Yugi's eyes which had turned blood red.
"Don't you dare bring the Fenton's into this you snake! I was there when that prototype blew. I saw that you had tampered with it just before Jack turned it on!" Yugi snarled his fangs lengthened. Seto looked at the two teens wondering what on earth they were talking about.
*Abiou (partner)... Calm yourself. Your vampiric side is showing.* Atem stated mentally. Vlad rubbed his sore face as he watched as Yugi's eyes changed back to their normal color.
"It is nice to see you as well Yugi Moto." hissed Vlad as his eyes fell onto Seto. "Well my eyes better not be deceiving me. Seto Kaiba as I live and breathe. Have you come to sell me your company?" asked Vlad.
"In your dreams Vlad. Now move out of our way as we are here on important business." growled Seto. Vlad shot Seto a dark look as Seto's hands twitched towards one of his hidden weapons.
"Oh really? Whom with?" Vlad asked.
"That would be me!" answered a voice. The group turned to see a young African-American male approach then. "You are trespassing on private property Mr. Masters. I suggest that you leave now before I am forced to call security.
"Tucker Foley..." Vlad hissed under his breath. "This ain't over yet, not by a long shot!" called out Vlad as the four young teens watch him leave.
"Gods how I hate that man." hissed Tucker.
"Join the club!" replied Yugi, Danny, and Seto in unison. This caused Tucker to laugh as he embraced Danny in a short hug.
"Danny it's good to see you man. How have things worked out between you and Sam?" Tucker asked causing Danny to blush. "I see still having a hard time asking her out I see." stated Tucker as Seto lightly coughed.
"You two can catch up later as we are here on business." stated Seto.
"No problem Mr. Kaiba. Come I will bring you to my factory." stated Tucker. When he turned both Danny and Yugi could see the mark of the Midnight Son on Tucker.
*What Tucker's one of us? How is that possible?* Danny asked mentally as he could feel that somehow Tucker had changed. There was something different about his friend. 'It's not possible. I know that Tucker was always a big Techno geek growing up but, I just don't see him taking up the part of a hero. Could he really be Iron Man.' Danny thought to himself. Tucker showed the three to a waiting limo to take them to the factory.
"To the factory Jarvis." Tucker said to the limo once everyone was in.
"Who's Jarvis?" Yugi asked not seeing anyone in the driver's seat.
"Jarvis is an A.I. program that I made a few years back." Tucker answered just as a computerized voice sounded.
"Certainly sir." chirped Jarvis.
"It seems that you can give me a run for my money when it comes to technology. Tell me Mr. Foley, has anyone harassed you about some of your projects?" asked Seto bluntly.
"Please just call me Tucker. Mr. Foley makes me feel like my dad. But to answer your question... yes. I keep on getting strange faxes from a Mr.X who wants me to stop working on my cleaner energy project." The three teens met Tucker's gaze.
"It seems that this Mr.X doesn't want for us to continue on with our projects. What does your project and mine have in common?" Seto asked.
"You mean besides a sick psycho path who has threatened your lives. And was the cause behind Mokuba's and Noah's death." growled out Danny.*Careful Danny you are treading close to your angelic side showing.* Phantom stated in the back of Danny's mind. That is when the unexpected happened. A ghostly light blue breath escaped from Danny's lips as it felt like an explosion rocked the car. The car flipped about causing Danny to activate the ghostly powers to make sure that no one got hurt.
"What in the hell!?" Tucker shouted during the roll out the limo flipped once...twice...three times before coming to a halt on its side thank god for seat belt and Danny throwing up a shield.
"is everyone alright?" Yugi asked
"I'm good...ow." Danny said
"Nothing bracken" Tucker said
"What the hell was that?" Seto demanded
"I don't know but i don't want to stick around and find out" Danny said unbuckling and kicking open the sunroof so the group could get out. once all out side Tucker got on his phone only for it to be blasted out of his hand.
"Who's there!?" Tucker shouted slipping into a defenses stance, while Seto drew his Glock sweeping the area, Danny was scanning the sky, and Yugi was getting ready for what was to come.
"Why it's only me... Plasmius." stated a voice that while it had an ghostly echo effect. But regardless of how eerie it sounded, Danny recognized the voice to belong to Vlad.
"Vlad what are you planing!?" Danny hollered no answer came... verbally that is. No, the answer came in the form of a pink ecto blast wizing past Tucker's ear.
"Jarvis..." Tucker called out.
"on its way." Jarvis said just as Vlad reviled him self only he had blue skin, glowing red eye's, black hear styled as two horns, he wore a white tunic, Matching pants, black boots, belt, and a red lined white cape. Seto blinked a few times, Yugi tried to hold back a chuckle, Danny raised an eyebrow, and tucker didn't bother to hold back a laugh.
"Vlad Master's what in the world happened to you?" Tucker asked trying to restrain his laughter.
"Sure laugh it up all of you. It's partly Danny's and Yugi's fault that I am like this. That small little accident has given me ghost powers. Now you will all pay with your lives. And its Plasmius!" hissed Plasmius as pink echo energy flew to his hands. Yugi reacted using Atem's magic to create spell card Magical Cylinders to reflect the spell back at Plasmius while Seto let out a shot from his gun. Both attacks seemed to phase right past Plasmius. Suddenly golden armor came swooping past Plasmius as it attached onto Tucker's body.
"Sorry Vlad... Plasmius... Or whatever you want to call yourself. I have no intention of dying here. I already came close to death once before." Tucker stated as he blasted Plasmius with a plasma bolt from his Iron Man armor. Plasmius simply deflected a blast by creating a pink echo shield.
"So it seems that you have been holding out on me Tucker Foley. Who would have thought that you were Iron Man." Plasmius stated. Tucker turned to the group.
"Go... I will try to hold him off..." Tucker never got to complete his words as eerie aurora had surrounded both Danny and Yugi.
"No... He's ours!" the two spirits of vengeance spoke in unison as they instantly transformed their hosts bodies. Plasmius had the smell of innocent blood on him as it caused the two spirits of vengeance to come forth. Not only did he threaten their hosts lives but also their friends. No one especially some whack job fruit loop was going to threaten the people that they care for.
T.V. announcer: And welcome back to the Riders tribute. And here are you host's Scrletfyre and Drangonstar101. *audience claps*
Dragonstar101: Welcome back everyone.
Scrletfyre: Today on the show we are going to speak with Tucker Foley who is playing the part of Iron Man. So please welcome him to the show *audience claps as Iron Man armor comes swooping in and landing. The armor retracts revealing Tucker*
Dragonstar101: Welcome to the show.
Tucker: This is incredible, I get to play Iron Man. You don't realize just how perfect this role is for me!
Scrletfyre: Well you do have Dragonstar101 to thank for that. It was totally her idea of you to play the part of Iron Man.
Tucker *running over tackling Dragonstar101 in a hug*: Thank you..., thank you... Thank you!
Dragonstar101:...Tucker...can't...breathe! *turns blue*
Scrletfyre: Tucker let go she's turning blue!
Tucker*lets go*: Sorry!
Dragonstar101*Gasping for air*: It's...all...good...oh sweet mama.*Continues to breath deeply*
Scrletfyre *laughing lightly. turns to Tucker*: I kind of guess that your very happy with your involvement with this story and your part.
Tucker *blushing*: Is it that obvious?!
Dragonstar101 *growling*: Yes! *Sighs softly* Good lord what was I thinking when I started this story?
Scrletfyre: I would like to know the answer to that as well. *Dragonstar101 sighs in defeat*
