Chapter 26: springing a trap
+With the Midnight Sons+
After the Midnight Sons watched the humans left they headed up top side to bring this all to an end. As they headed topside, Shriker told the group of the abilities of both Deathwatch and Skulker seeing how he knew them quite intimately. Deathwatch got his powers off of death as he had incredible strength and was immortal. Death gave him power.
"We will see just how strong he is when he we inflict the Penance Stare on him." both Atem and Phantom stated in unison.
"Skulker's suit has many hidden weapons as without it he can't live. The suit is his life support as without it he is nothing." stated Shriker.
"I can deal with him as I owe him for what he has put me through." growled Wolverine.
"I will back you up Wolverine. His armor possibly doesn't stand a chance against mine." stated Iron Man.
"Then it is decided. Dr. Strange, Blade, Punisher, and Shriker you can deal with any of the remaining ninja's." Phantom commanded as he nodded to Atem. Atem reached out through the path he had with the Shadow Realm to contact the Duel Monsters that he had a bond with.
{It is time Gemini Elves to spring our trap. I am enabling you to use the magic spell Swords of Revealing Light to hold them as long as possible.} Atem told them.
{By your command Lord Atem.} the Gemini Elves replied.
+With the Gemini Elves+
Both Skulker and Deathwatch stood outside as finally it seemed that the ninja's had won capturing the copies of the Midnight Sons not knowing that they weren't the real thing.
"It seems that the all-powerful Ghost Riders and the Midnight Sons weren't as powerful as they we were lead to believe." stated Skulker.
"Don't under estimate them Skulker. They still may surprise you." stated Deathwatch. The copies off the Midnight Sons all began to grin.
"You couldn't be more right." replied the copies as they all began to glow as they all merged into two transforming into two women who looked like twins. The Gemini Elves smiled as they held out hands which were joined as they were holding hands. {Sorry but we may not be the ones you have been possibly expecting but we were told to hold you here by any means possible.} the Gemini Elves stated as their hands began to glow. {Swords of Revealing Light!} they casted the spell as swords of light rained down surrounding both Deathwatch and Skulker. It trapped the two men as any remaining ninja's began to spring up. They once again casted the spell Swords of Revealing Light trapping the ninja's. Their one and universal thought was for Atem and the Sons to hurry as the spell wouldn't last long.

Once the Midnight Sons made it top side the were greeted by the Gemini Elves just as the spell around the ninja's dispersed. Dr. Strange, Blade, Punisher, and Shriker got to work on keeping the ninja's away from Iron Man, Wolverine, Atem, Phantom and the two crooks. Both Skulker and Deathwatch were grinning as they thought that they still held a chance to capture the Midnight Sons. The spell that surrounded both Skulker and Deathwatch dropped as the remaining Midnight Sons moved to attack.
"I will have you one way or another Wolverine!" yelled out Skulker.
"In your dreams Skulker." growled Wolverine. As Skulker tried to move he found it impossible to move his suit.
"What the?!" asked Skulker.
"Sorry but you tech is primitive at best. I hacked into your suit shutting it down. He is all yours Wolverine." Wolverine grinned wildly as he allowed his adimantium claws to extend out.
"Now I get to pay you back for doing this to me. I may have lost my past memories but I refuse to be your play thing any longer." stated Wolverine. He allowed his claws to rip through Skulker's suit revealing a slender skinny and frail man. Skulker gasped clutching for air as he dropped to his knees. "I won't kill you but I will allow you to suffer before you die a slow and painful death that you have brought onto yourself." stated Wolverine as he and Iron Man walked off. Skulker yelled out Wolverine's name loudly before he gasped for his last breath.
Meanwhile Atem and Phantom faced against Deathwatch. Both spirits of vengeance had the ninja tied up into their mystic chains. Hellfire along with both angelic magics and shadow magics were also infused through the chain. It kept the man pinned.
"This won't stop me. I know who you two truly are. I will complete my masters goal. This world shall be ours. The people whom you love will not be safe from me. Their blood is on your hands." yelled out Deathwatch. This caused both of them to growl very low and deep. Their eyes began to glow wildly.
"No more. This is the end! We possibly know whom your masters are. We will stop them no matter what. We will not allow any more innocent blood to be spilled. Because of your ability to get off and feed on death, this will be even more painful for you." both Atem and Phantom growled in unison. Their eyes lit up as the fiery penance stare shot into Deathwatch once they removed his Halloween mask. Deathwatch laughed wildly before his facial features changed. Deathwatch screamed out in pain as Phantom and Atem took turns inflicting the penance stare on Deathwatch. All anyone could hear was his blood curdling screams that echoed through the night.
Satisfied with the results the Midnight Sons left as Skulker was barely clinging to his pitiful life while Deathwatch's eyes had been burned out because of the penance stare. Once the Midnight Sons had left the scene, the figures approached the two men.
"Pitiful... Just truly pitiful. And to think we had high hopes for you both." stated a dark voice before he turned Deathwatch's head completely around snapping his neck.
"We will have to step up our game. There are still two more Midnight Sons remaining." replied a ghostly voice as he stabbed Skulker with his sword.
"Let us hope that our remaining allies are up to the task of either killing off or turning the last two to our side." stated the third speaker as his voice sound dark and ghostly. Just who are these three and what is their plans for the Midnight Sons?

Dragonstar101: Welcome back everyone.
Scrletfyre: Usually in this part of the show we usually interview the cast but since we haven't introduced anyone new yet, I figured that we could possibly answer a few questions. I will start. *turns to Dragonstar101* Why did you feel the need to write this story?
Dragonstar101: This story is one of the only ways that I can relive any anger, sadness, and every other negative emotion that I tended to harbor inside my self plus it fun as all heck to write about it. When did you start writing fan fiction?
Scrletfyre: I started writing fanfiction because I was having troubles getting back into my regular writing do to a long break from it as I used to write my own short stories almost every day. A friend told me about fanfiction as I read something on line and decided to give it a whirl. I had hoped that it would help me get back into my own writing. But I have been hooked ever since as I have so many ideas in my head about different fanfiction stories that I can work on as almost anything is possible. What is your most favorite series to work on?
Dragonstar101: I have three favs the first is this series "Silent Dark Avengers", second would be my Danny Phantom/Power Rangers story "Ghostly Force", and lastly my Resident Evil/Devil May Cry story "Resident Evil 4 with a devil's twist." What has been your favorite series to work on?
Scrletfyre: I so far have to admit that it's a tossup between Bleach and Naruto. I actually have a fan fiction story with both series. But my overall favorite is my Bleach story "Hollowed Soul." What is our most favorite shipped couple and why?
Dragonstar101: My favorite shipped couple would be Amy from Sailor Moon and Seto from Yu-Gi-Oh. The two of them are smart and in all honesty they look cute together. If you could publish one of you fan fiction which one would it be?
Scrletfyre: I would love to see "Hollowed Soul" and/or "Fox and the Hunter" get published. They are so far my best works to date. Any other story ideas you plan to work on once this is done?
Dragonstar101: A crossover with Harry Potter and American McGee's Alice. I love the story of American McGee's Alice and how the story of Harry Potter would be affected if Harry had been raised by Alice and snap in wonderland. Where do you get some of your inspiration?
Scrletfyre: Sometimes from just an image I find online but, most of the times in dreams. I like to work through several ideas and see which one I can run with.
