Week Twenty-Three – April 10th

"Are you okay?" Ed asked as he painted the walls in the room they were using as the nursery for the babies. It was the spare room that Pinako had given to Edward and Alphonse when they were kids, and now the newlyweds had decided to use it for their twins.

Winry nodded from where she sat in a rocking chair in the corner of the room, stroking her belly. She was taking a quick water break before she returned to painting like she had been doing before.

"Just the babies kicking up a storm. They've been active all week."

"Are my babies going to kick their mommy into oblivion?" Ed joked, pausing from his painting to place his hands on Winry's gray t-shirt clad belly. He resumed to cover Winry's stomach in green handprints.

"Hey, hey!" Winry exclaimed with a laugh, not wanting Edward to stop.

"I just felt them kick at the same time," Ed said with the largest grin Winry had ever seen from him besides their wedding day. "One was all the way on the left and the other was all the way on the right."

"Isn't it amazing?"

"It is."
