Chapter 30: chaos and rage

As we last left our heroes, both Dartz and Necrophades could feel someone trying to track them through magic. Dartz and Necrophades took this chance to cause the spell to back fire on the one who was trying to find them. The one who was tracking them would be forced to undergo a change turning them into a far darker version of themselves. The spell would backlash affecting also the Hulk. Once the spell was castes both Dartz and Necrophades left their hideout to watch the chaos unfold.

+With Danny's Group+

Suddenly for some unknown reason, Mahad let out a terrible scream as he clutched his head violently. Marik cursed violently as he pulled the group away from the Dark Magician. Danny could hear Phantom even cursing through the mental link.
*This is bad... Whomever was after Atem and the Hulk just stepped this game up to a whole new level.* Phantom stated. The group watched in horror as Mahad was forced to undergo a terrible change. His hair became much darker turning to sickly black color as his skin turned becoming grey in color. The magician robes that Mahad wore as the Dark Magician even changed. It looked like tight leather suit as bindings wrapped around his body as his hat looked almost like a jester's hat.
"Shit!" exclaimed Marik out loud as Mahad's red eyes with yellow corneas turned towards the group. Mahad was no longer the Dark Magician as he had now become the Magician of Black Chaos. A spear-like appeared in Mahad's hands as he stared directly at Dash. "Shit... He is after Dash!" yelled out Marik as he tried to throw up a protective spell. Mahad's magic was much stronger than Marik's own as it broke through the barrier and wrapped around Dash.
"Dash!" both Danny and Joey shouted out as they tried to rush to his aid.
{Too late. The Hulk and Dark Magician is ours to control now!} Mahad stated as he threw a dark magic blast at the three teens. The blast hit them despite Marik's protective spell as they were blasted out of Joey's and Dash's home. Soon Dash's screams turned into yells of rage as a tall green monsterous brute destroyed the house. He let out a loud roar as he leapt into the air heading into town as the Magician of Black Chaos followed him.
"Is everyone all right?" asked Marik as he undid the protective spell that surrounded them.
"I'm fine. But Dash... We got to stop him before he hurts people. I know that I will be able to calm him down if we can get to him." Joey stated as he shifted through the rubble trying to find his Daredevil costume.
"Even though he was a complete jerk to me in the past. I can't let him and/or Mahad to be used against us." stated Danny as he allowed Phantom to take over his body. His trip to the Ghost Zone will have to wait. First thing was first. They had to stop the Hulk and the Magician of Black Chaos.

+In the Shadow Realm+

Horakhty had managed to completely fix the damage that Atem had caused to his human host. The great God-like spirit also put up stronger protection spells on the two and undid the seal that laid around all seven millennium items. While within the Shadow Realm, Atem showed Yugi how to use all of his demonic powers and shadow magic. Yugi seemed to pick up on how to use these powers almost like it was second nature. Yugi was allowed to see the realm that Atem had come from and to meet the many creatures that lived there. The creatures that lived there and whom highly respected Atem as their lord began calling Yugi their master. They told the young teen that if he ever needed their help and assistance to call upon them. It warmed Atem's heart to see everyone willing accept Yugi. It was during one of their training sessions when Atem suddenly screamed out as if in pain. His dark powers lashed out violently at any in his range. Horakthy was there almost instantly to protect Yugi.
"What's going on? What's happening?" Yugi asked in concern. A dark snarl arose from Atem's chest as his dark gaze fell upon Yugi. The young teen gulped in fear as he has never seen this side of Atem before.
{It seems that someone has corrupted Mahad. They have altered the Dark Magician transforming him into the Magician of Black Chaos.} stated Horakthy. Without thinking twice Yugi rushed towards Atem wrapping his arms around the former pharaoh.
"We will get him back Atem. I just know that we will. No doubt Danny and the others will help us as they know how important Mahad is to you." Horakthy watched as Yugi's guiding light managed to quell the darkness that spilled from Atem.
{Two halves of the same hole.} the spirit-like God stated softly.
"You are right Yugi. Horakthy, can you make us hole again?" asked Atem. Horakthy nodded his head but before he could perform the task, every spell caster and magic user appeared before both Atem and Yugi.
{Please Lord Atem and Master Yugi. Allow us to aid you. Mahad is a part of our group as he helped train us all. It is time that we return the favor.} they all stated in unison. Yugi turned towards Atem who nodded his head.
"Thank you everyone. With you all by our side, these sorcerers who think they can harm one of my own will pay with their lives." Atem growled darkly before he could feel Horakthy's magic envelope him rejoins him with Yugi. The ancient pharaoh could already feel the effects that this was happening to his home world. 'It seems that they have also affected the Hulk. No doubt that it will force Phantom to call upon that power he hasn't used since the last time he had to use it on me.' Atem thought to himself touching the cross shaped scar that sat on his chest. Atem looked at Horakthy as he opened the portal back to the human world. 'Lets hope that we aren't too late.' he thought to himself as he called upon his hellcycle wanting to save his energy and power to help his friend, confidant, ally, and caretaker.

T.V. Announcer: And welcome back to the Riders tribute. And here are you host's Scrletfyre and Drangonstar101. *audience claps as the two hosts enter*
Dragonstar101: Welcome back everyone.
Scrletfyre: As no doubt most of you have possibly noticed that this story is coming close to an end. As it has been a long ride.
Dragonstar101: I kind of feel bad imposing the rest of this story onto you Scrlet. I guess that I should have planned things better.
Scrletfyre: Hey we all have those moments. I am currently having one with another story that I am working on as I am trying to wrap my brain around on how to combine two different series into one massive fight scene. *screams in frustration* I know what I want to do and what I want to happen but it's putting the thoughts down onto paper where I draw a blank.
Dragonstar101: Anyways... For today's guest, we have Mahad who has now become the Magician of Black Chaos. So please welcome him to the show. *audience claps as Mahad suddenly appears on stage*
Mahad: I have only one guess to why you are having me play that role once again Scrlet.
Scrletfyre: Sorry Mahad but the plot kind of wound up that way. You have to admit that it makes an interesting plot twist.
Mahad: I agree with you there as chaos and rage kind of do go hand and hand.
Dragonstar101: For those of you who haven't figured it out, Mahad was transformed into the Magician of Black Chaos for Scrletfyre's story "Fight for the Future"
Mahad: And to think that it was someone else who had changed me. Will I remain in that form?
Scrletfyre: You have to wait for the next chapter to find out the answer to that question.
