Week 37 - July 17th
"Winry, you've got to calm down," Ed said while watching his wife pace around the nursery.
"Calm down? I'm going to have two babies this month!" Winry exclaimed. "We're going to be parents and we don't have a clue of what we're doing!"
"Well, we're just gonna figure it out along the way," Edward said. "I mean, do you think our parents knew what they were doing?"
"That's different," Winry said.
"How so?" Ed asked.
"Our parents had their parents to help. Your mom had her parents and my dad had granny," Winry said. "Besides, neither of them had twins."
"Well, Al and I are only a year apart, maybe it's kind of the same thing?" Edward suggested.
"Yeah?" Winry asked. "Did your mom have two newborns to breastfeed at the same time? Did she have two potty training toddlers? Was she up and down constantly after giving birth?"
"Um...You'd have to ask her that," Ed said.
"I know she didn't," Winry said with a roll of the eyes. "You didn't potty train until you were three when Alphonse was two. Then Al potty trained a year after you were already finished."
"How do you know that?" Ed asked.
"I was four at the time and remember certain things," Winry answered.
"Listen, we're gonna be okay," Edward said. "Your parents had granny, and we have her too. Remember when I was freaking out when we found out the babies were gonna be boys? You told me we'd be fine, and we will."
"But that was forever ago," Winry said.
"Not forever ago," Ed said with a small laugh. "Think about how we're going to be parents in two weeks. Your body is going to do something that not even Alchemy can accomp-"
Edward found himself on the floor with a wrench in his head.
"Why do you always have to compare everything to Alchemy?" Winry asked in a frustrated tone.
"I thought I told you no more automail work!"
"Please, it's just a wrench; I always carry it around with me."
