Week 38 - July 24th
"My due date is next week," Winry said while sitting in a rocking chair that had been placed in the nursery.
"I know," Ed said, sitting Indian style in front of the rocking chair. He placed a hand on his wife's belly. "Can you believe you've been pregnant for pretty much as long as we've been married?"
"What a wonderful wedding present," Winry said with a laugh. "You know, I was hoping to at least get a good year in before we had kids."
"Guess it just wasn't meant to be." Edward shrugged.
"Oh, shut up, you know you don't believe in that wacky fate stuff," Winry said.
"Then I guess we just got lucky," Ed said. "Two kids in one go...Wow..."
"Wait to say your 'wow' until I actually have the baby."
"One week..." Edward trailed off.
"Yep," Winry responded.
"You pick out the outfits they're gonna wear?" Ed asked.
"Of course," Winry answered. "Did you get everything Pinako told you to from the market?"
"Yep," Ed said. Pinako had asked him to go to the market days ago and pick up everything they would need for the birth. They had most of the items already, they just needed a few extra things.
"Thank you, Ed," Winry said.
"For?"
"Everything."
