Week 39 - July 31st

"Ta da," Edward said as he showed Winry the new addition to their bedroom - a recliner.

"What's this?" Winry asked.

"Well, I know you've been having trouble sleeping lately, and I read a book about it. Apparently women who are super pregnant sleep easier in recliners, so here ya go," Ed explained.

"You're so sweet," Winry said with a smile. She kissed her husband.

"Well, test it," Ed said, helping her into the furniture. "How's it feel?"

"It feels great, thank you." Winry leaned into the chair, getting comfortable. "Where's Al?"

"He's in the kitchen; thirsty after helping me get this bad boy up here," Edward answered. Alphonse and Mei had come from Xing to witness the birth of their babies, though the due date had passed. Edward and Winry were assured by Pinako that this was perfectly normal, and actually better for the babies to stay for a bit longer than the due date.

"How long is he going to stay after the babies are born?" Winry asked.

"Well, he said he was going to help us out for the first few days, but I think he's gonna freak and bolt as soon as you start having contractions," Ed joked.

"Ha ha, very funny," Alphonse said as he walked into the room, having overheard the two on his way in. "I have nowhere to run or hide, anyway. I'm here until those babies come out and I get to meet them."

"Good luck, I have a feeling they're going to be screamers," Winry said.

"Aw, just like their father," Al joked.

"I hate you guys," Ed growled.

Almost there!
