Okay, I'm back! And I'm so sorry for not updating in so long! My computer crashed and died for good and I kinda forgot about this story. And I only have my tablet to write with so the chapters won't be very long... Sorry... But I wanna thank everyone for still leaving reviews, despite me not updating in soooo long.

Shindou finished washing and was prepared for bed. Kirino lay snuggled up tight in his blanket on the couch, his head also covered. Shindou walked over to the light switch and looked over at Kirino.

"Kirino? Um, I'm gonna turn the light off now, Kay?"

Kirino popped his head out of the blanket but only his eyes were visible. He gave a small nod and hid his face back in the sheets.

Shindou climbed into his bed and began to doze off, slowly.

Kirino tossed and turned. He just couldn't get comfortable! It was too exciting to be in the same room as his crush.

He got up slowly and crept silently over to Shindou's bed. He climbed in, facing Shindou's back, and snuggled up next to him.

"Ranmaru.." Shindou said in a calm quiet voice, "what are you doing here? "

He flipped around to face the madly blushing boy he loved who was shrinking into the blanket to hide his embarrassment.

"Uh, H-hi.."

And that was all Kirino could say in this surprising moment.

The sound of Shindou's voice unexpectedly sounding gave him a mini heart attack and he was still recovering.

"So, am I just too irresistible that you had to come snuggle up next to me?" Shindou whispered in Kirino's ear.

Kirino body temperature was rising like crazy and he pulled the blanket over his head.

"Mmm, maybe.." He managed to say just loud enough so Shindou could barely hear.

Shindou gave a small laugh and hugged Kirino under the sheets.

"You're really adorable, you know that?"

Kirino pulled the blanket down to look Shindou in the eyes.

"You're not mad at me because I snuck into your bed without permission?"

"Of course not"

Kirino smiled a bit.

"Shindou?"

Kirino's voice sounded slightly nervous and unsure.

"Yes, Kirino?"

"U-umm... I've been um, wanting to tell you something..."

Shindou raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"I-it's kinda hard to say.. And it's kinda embarrassing..."

Shindou waited for him to continue.

"Shindou, um, I k-kinda like you... N-No, I kinda love you... W-well actually, I think I like, ah I mean, love you... Yeah... A-A lot..."

Shindou froze for a few seconds not giving a response but then he smiled an squeezed Kirino tight.

"Thank you so much for telling me! I was so afraid that you were scared of me or something because you ran away from me when I confessed to you at school.."

Kirino's face was still stark red.

"Uh, yeah.. Sorry about that..."

Shindou didn't say a word but instead he leaned forward and gave Kirino a quick but full kiss.

He pulled away and admired the dazed, clueless look on Kirino face.

He didn't know he was capable of doing this to him and he smiled at the thought of the power he had over his crush.

When Kirino's brain finally caught up with reality, he buried his face in Shindou's shirt in embarrassment.

Shindou hugged Kirino to him and they fell asleep just like that.

The next morning was another school day. Shindou was first to wake up. He found himself locked tight in Kirino's arms, so he shook Kirino a bit to wake him up but Kirino was still unaware of what he was doing.

"Kirino?"

Kirino buried his face further into Shindou's chest.

"Time to get up, We're gonna be late for school..."

Kirino groaned and hugged Shindou tighter.

"No.. Five more minutes.."

Shindou frowned.

"But we should get up now."

Kirino whined and pulled the sheets over his head.

Shindou lay there a while and a minute later he reached down to Kirino's stomach and started to tickle him.

Kirino jerked back barely managed to call out "stop!" to Shindou between laughs.

Shindou didn't stop for the longest time and he really only stopped when Kirino fell off the bed.

"Shindou!" Kirino complained.

Shindou laughed and rolled off the bed after Kirino and landed directly above him. His hands were on either side of Kirino's head and the rest of his body was pressed against him. But he only put half his weight on him. Shindou didn't want to squash the smaller boy beneath him.

Shindou gave a naughty grin and leaned closer so their lips were barely touching and then he asked seductively, "Are you still mad at me?"

And because of the little space between their mouths, Kirino could feel the movement and breath of every word coming from Shindou's mouth.

He loved it. He loved it so much but he wished that Shindou would cut the crap and just kiss him already.

Shindou didn't, to his dismay, but instead, Shindou continued to tease Kirino by brushing their mouths together but pulling away when Kirino would try to press their lips together.

After a while of Shindou's seemingly relentless teasing, he gave in to Kirino's cute, childish pouting and finally kissed him.

Kirino was so eager for his kiss so when their lips met, his tongue pushed straight into Shindou's mouth, exploring and tasting every bit of it.

Shindou loved this forcefulness...

The kiss lasted for about half a minute and they pulled away, breathless.

Shindou hugged Kirino to him and whispered, "you know, we gotta get going now or we'll be late for school.."

But neither of them moved. They both felt reluctant to leave this position.

Kirino didn't want to leave Shindou's arms, plus, he was very tired and not looking forward to school at all! And Shindou, well, he just wanted to continue hugging Kirino.

But they did eventually get up. They quickly got dressed and prepared themselves for school, scarfing down their breakfasts in the process.

"See Kirino?" Shindou said when they finally made it into the car, "you see, this is what happens when you wake up late for school! Naughty, naughty, Ran-chan" Shindou teased.

Kirino blushed at the twisted usage of his name and reached out to pull Shindou's hair lightly in response.

"Ow! That hurts Ran-CHAN!"

Kirino giggled and snuggled up to him with his his back against him as Shindou wrapped his arms around his mid-section.

"Ran-chan, you should apologize." Shindou said as he cuddled Kirino in his arms.

"No! I don't wanna!"

"Ranmaru!"

" No!" Kirino pouted.

"Fine.."

Shindou smirked as an idea popped into his head.

He reached up and pulled a lock of Kirino's hair up to his nose.

"Mmm, smells nice"

Kirino's face reddened.

Shindou knew he was on the right track when he felt Kirino's body temperature heat up. He smiled and leaned down to kiss Kirino's neck.

Kirino gave a small, cute sigh of pleasure when he felt Shindou's tongue on his neck. Shindou then started to gently suck, making Kirino squirm in his arms. Shindou pulled away slowly and Kirino turned to face him. Kirino leaned in to kiss him but Shindou dodged the kiss and shook his head.

"No, no, Ran-chan. You have to apologize for pulling my hair first!"

Kirino cutely pouted.

"Fine! I'm sorry... Now can I have a kiss?"

Shindou hugged him tight against his own body and answered, "of course you can"

Shindou took Kirino's chin between his forefinger and his thumb and tilted his head up, then he slowly leaned in for the kiss.

asdfghjkl okay so this was a strange chapter...
