Ash's pov...
Eve, my new eevee was curled up on my backpack as we walked out of the woods into pewter city.
"Alright! Gym badges here we come!" Leo rushed ahead and tripped over a rock.
"Hey! Break it and I'll make you pay for that rock!" What the heck? A man was beside the road selling rocks.
"Sorry about our friend. He's very excited to battle the gym." The man scoffed.
"Like anyone of you will be able to beat him. He's really strong." This dude is really cocky.
"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Come on boys." We followed Kira to the Pokemon center where we healed our Pokemon and pichu got on my backpack. When we got to the gym he hid in it.
"I would like to challenge the gym leader!" The lights came on and a guy appeared.
"Whatever. Like you'll be able to beat me. I haven't had good battles in a while." I stood on one side of the field.
"Butterfree! Come on out!/ geodude time for battle!" I had the first move.
"Confusion!/ dodge geodude and use rock throw!" Geodude didn't move in time and was hit with confusion. It was confused.
"Geodude snap out of it and use tackle!" Geodude hurt itself in confusion.
"Butterfree use gust!" Gust missed.
"Geodude use rock throw!" Geodude threw a rock at butterfree. Not very effective.
"Butterfree finish him with another gust." Geodude fainted. (Sorry guys I'm horrible at Pokemon battles whenever I'm tired and since it midnight. I wanted to get this done for you guys though.) carnidos fainted. Leo gabbed his badge and we high fives each other!
"You too look like idiots with those grins you know." I rolled my eyes.
"Wouldn't you be happy to win a contest ribbon? Shut up." We then went to the Pokemon center and rented room and healed our Pokemon. Then we all fell asleep.
