Now, I know not everyone feels the same way, but I believe that because Naruto has always been in love with Sakura, it'd be wrong not to give them a pairing every once in a while, hence this story's pairing. Besides, Sasuke doesn't deserve her. Anyway, This chapter brings in six more characters, two of them being oc's, the rest being from the Fairy Tail manga/anime.

I think I mentioned earlier, but if not, here it is again: The majority of the past chapters were ones I had written a while back. These newer chapters though, I have to write as I come up with the ideas. Unfortunately, this means it takes a while to write them. Speaking of time, I don't want to waste anymore of yours with my blabbering, so here's chapter 14.

Chapter 14- Meet Shai and Shiro. Tsunade's conference

"Wendy?" Natsu moans, opening his eyes to look at the blue haired loli on his chest. She continues to sleep, a soft purring sound emanating from her mouth.. Natsu sighs and pulls her closer, laying her head on his shoulder. Looking to the side, he sees Naruto and Sakura, in pretty much the same position. He chuckles to himself. "The boy's got guts, going straight for the goal like that." "Yeah he does," whispers Wendy, opening her eyes. Remind you of anyone?" she asks, snuggling even closer to the fire mage. He grins, giving her a quick peck on the nose."You've got a point."

"I'd say," comes a whisper. Natsu's entire body quivers, fear turning even his own fire mage blood to ice. Slowly turning his head, he sees the red hair of the fairy queen. "E-Erza? W-what the hell are you doing here?" he stutters, skin tone coming pretty close to that of a ghost's. She smiles, pattin him on the head. "Just came to remind you about the conference."

Natsu's muscles relaxe. "Oh. That's all it was. Don't worry about it. We've got plenty of time."

"actually, you have half an hour."Erza says, standing up. "Do with it as you wish, but I will not tolerate tardiness. If you are not at the conference o time," she says, cracking her knuckles, an evil smile on her face, "THere will be dire consequences."

With that, Erza walks away, moving into a thick mass of trees. A few seconds later, she's gone from sight. "Holy hell!" Natsu says, jumping up and straightening his vest. "We gotta go!" Wendy nods, picking her up from where Natsu practically threw her. "Jeez, Natsu! That hurt!" she pouts, glaring at her lover. "Sorry, I kind of forgot you were there," he says, grinning sheepishly. All trace of a smile disappears as Wendy brings him to his knees with a sharp kick to the jewels. Crying out in pain, Natsu takes a deep breath. "What the hell, Wendy?!" The girl laughs. "Sorry, I kind of forgot you were there," she says, dusting off her dress.

Simultaneously, Naruto and Sakura open their eyes. Realizing their awkward predicament, both ninja turn beet-red. Sakura looks down at the boy. "Naaarruutoo," she growls, raising her hand. Naruto closes his eyes, prepared for his inevitable death. Suddenly, he feels something brush his lips. Opening his eyes, the boy almost wets himself, seeing that touching his lips, were Sakura's own. Breaking the kiss, the pink haired girl looks away. "Um, thanks, for yesterday I mean." Still processing, Naruto stands up. "Yeah, don't mention it," he says almost inaudibly.

"It's about time you two got together,"Natsu says, clapping. "Unfortunately, we don't have much of said time left. The conference starts in half an hour. " Naruto and Sakura turn white as flour. "How are we supposed to get there in half an hour?" Natsu asks. "It took longer than that just to get out here from your house."

Natsu grins. "I've got that covered. There's someone I want you to meet," he says, walking over to the hut. Instantly, Happy runs out, followed by Charle. After exchanging some whispers, the little blue cat nods, walking Natsu into the house. "I wonder what they're doing," Naruto says, tweaking his headband. "Who knows?" Sakura replies. A few seconds later, the fire mage and Happy walk out, Natsu carrying something in his he turns toward them, Naruto and Sakura gasp in utter amazement.

Laying in his arms, was an Exceed, fur the color of lightning, a blinding yellow. "Naruto, meet-" Natsu begins, but stops as the cat springs out of his arms, landing on Naruto's head. "Hi, I'm Shiro, and you're Naruto, right? Natsu told me all about you!" Shiro says, hanging upside down, fuzzy head bobbing left and right like a crazy yellow metronome. Naruto laughs, reaching a hand up to scratch behind Shiro's ear. "Nice to meet you too, Shiro." He says, a wide smile on his face.

"As for you, Sakura," Natsu says, walking over to the girl. "I want you to meet Shai." Hearing her name, a pink face looks out from behind Natsu's neck. Sakura walks around to Natsu back, fully aware of the Exceed's eyes following her every motion. Reaching a hand out, Sakura gently touches Shai's fur. "Wow," she says, amazed at the sensation. "You're so soft, just like silk." The Exceed givers her a small smile. "T-thank you, Miss, she says, the gentleness of Sakura's touch making her warm. Shai reaches out a tentative paw, lightly touching Sakura's arm. After a moment's hesitation, she lets go of Natsu's neck, holding on to Sakura's arm instead.

"Miss," Shai says, looking into Sakura's eyes. "Can I be your friend?" Sakura smiles, her heart filling with warmth. "I would love to be your friend," she says. Shai gives her a big smile. "Thank you, Miss!" she says, holding on to Sakura's arm even tighter.

"Shai, Shiro," "Yes, Natsu-sama?" both Exceeds answer in unison. "Are you happy with your partners?" "Yes, Natsu-sama." The fire mage nods. "Alright. What do you say we show them how to have a good time?" "Woo hoo! This is gonna be so much fun!" Shiro yells, moving down to Naruto's back. Shai nods, moving into place on Sakura's back. "Don't worry, Miss," she says. Natsu laughs. "You said it, Shiro! Happy, let's go!" "Aye, Sir!" Happy says, jumping onto Natsu's back. "Us too, Charle," Wendy says, picking her own Exceed up."

"Alright, everyone, we gotta move as fast as we can. If we go fast enough, we may even get there early." Naruto shakes his head. "That's impossible. You guys can't use the trees, and it will take way too long to get there on foot." Shiro laughs. "Who says we're doing either? Leave getting there to us," the little cat giggles. With that all four Exceeds take to the sky.

"What the…?" Naruto questions as they leave the ground. "You guys can fly?" Shiro giggles again, a pleasant jingling sound. "Yep! We can do other things too, but that's a surprise. Isn't it great?" Naruto looks down, seeing the speed of the trees moving by. He laughs, spreading his arms wide like some giant bird. "This is awesome!" Natsu grins. "Makes you wonder how you ever got around without 'em, huh?" He moves closer to Wendy. "Look at the ground," he tells her, pointing to a certain spot. Seeing where he's pointing, her eyes widen in shock. "Is that…?" she begins. Natsu nods. "Yep. It's them."

On the ground, a little to the right of them, was a shadow so dark, it's shade rivaled that of of obsidian. Even more amazing, was the man riding the shadow, and the two Exceeds trailing him, one a rusty color, the other in a pink frog suit. Natsu grins. "Yesterday, before we left for training, Mira and I got a message from Warren. Unfortunately, he was only able to send it to the older of the three of us. Since he's back in Magnolia, his his telepathy magic was kind of weak. Trying to send it so far made it really hard to pick up. You haven't exactly known him as long as the rest of us, so you weren't experienced enough to pick up the message. He told us they were coming. Rogue Cheney and Sting Eucliffe.

He cups his hands around his mouth like a megaphone. "Hey, Sting! Rouge! That's it over there!" He yells, pointing to the arena a few miles ahead of them. Hearing his name, Sting looks up. Seeing Natsu, he jumps, his Exceed, Lector catching him and rising to meet Natsu and the others. "Natsu Dragneel, it's been a while!" He says, punching the fire mage in the shoulder. "If we had Cobra here, we'd have all seven dragonslayers: Me, Rogue, You, Wendy, Laxus, Cobra, and Gajeel."

Natsu and Wendy laugh. "What's so funny?" Rogue asks, him and Frosch joining them. Wendy gives the two a delighted grin. "We don't have seven dragonslayers anymore!" she says.

Sting and Rogue share a huge grin. "You guys found more?" "Something like that." She moves, giving the two newcomers a better view of Naruto and Sakura. "Naruto, Sakura, meet light dragonslayer Sting, and shadow dragonslayer, Rogue. Sting, Rouge, this is Naruto and Sakura, fourth generation dragonslayers, and the newest members of our teams.

Sting and Rogue just about fall from the sky. "F-fourth generation? You mean it actually worked?" Wendy nods. "Yeah, Natsu figured it out. We still have to figure out their elements, but that will have to wait. Look, we're here." She says as the six dragonslayers descend.

Erza greets them at the door. "Good. You made it on time. Go ahead and find your seats. I just need to finish up here. Glad you could make it, Sting, Rogue, Lector, Frosch. Oh, looks like somebody's going to be late," she says, pointing to Gajeel, about a mile away. Natsu pushes them inside. "Let's leave Gajeel to her. You guys really don't want see Erza mad. Besides, we wouldn't want Naruto and Sakura dying early, would we?"

When everyone is seated, Tsunade begins. "First, let me thank you all for being able to make it," she pauses as Erza drags in Gajeel, who looks like he just came back from hell. Looking back to the crowd, she starts again. "On time. I want to introduce Sting and Rogue, two more dragonslayers who are joining us. The main point of this meeting, is to assess their abilities, which leaves us one option. Natsu, Sting, Rogue, Wendy, please step to the middle of the field."

Hearing this, Naruto quickly moves next to Tsunade and whispers something in her ear. "Are you sure?" she asks him, a surprised look on her face, balanced between Naruto's words and the lightning-yellow cat on his head. Naruto nods. "Trust me." Tsunade looks back to the ninja and mages. "Ahem, on second thought, just Natsu, Sting, and Rogue." The three mages jump down to the middle of the field. "Because our lacrima was broken," She says, giving Natsu a pointed glance. He grins. "My bad." "We only have one way to see how strong these two are. That is to have them tested by the one who broke it. Begin.

Sting and Rogue share a surprised glance. "Wait, if we have to fight the one who broke the lacrima, and the one who broke said lacrima is Natsu, then…" Sting nods in confirmation. "Oh shit," he says.
