Kasumi

Well this is absurd…
Not only did a wave come at us out of nowhere, but Takeshi was even dragged along with me. How crazy is this that the two of us were swept up so easily by a wave?

"You alright," he asked me.

"Yeah," rubbing my neck and all that, he nodded. "Thanks for the save back there though," I began, "it would have been a bit jostling for me inside that wave."

"No problem," he says. "We should get moving," he suggested.
I noticed as he got up a scrape on his elbow where I believed he hit against a wall while being tossed around in that pool. Getting up and taking a look at it I felt my knee throb with pain.

"Ow," not expecting to have been hurt, he looked down at me. "Seems we both hit something while being tossed around huh," I laughed.
Now I'm not one to get anxious or anything, but when he suddenly came down and picked me up easily into one arm, I was actually stunned stupid.
"T-Takeshi what are—"

"It'll be hard to walk with that injury," he says.

"But…" getting shy, "I'm not as petite as Honey is…I'm heavy aren't I," I say with my fingers put together sheepishly.
For one thing when he looked at me and gave that cool smile he usually does, my heart actually jumped a little! Now I see why he's part of the host club for the first time since coming into it…Takeshi is a worthy opponent. He deserves the cool and silent type role.

"Not at all," he says.

"O-ok….but if I start tiring your arm you have to put me down!" I stammered out the words and he kept his cool. I never truly noticed him other than the few words he speaks, but this was a rare chance to know something about him. But then again there is something strangely familiar that I feel that I should recall.
"We should head that way towards the jungle part," I suggested. "I think that is where a hut is located to view the jungle scenery and there should be a map."

"Alright," he says.
Beginning to walk that way and into the foliage, I was seriously going to have a word with Kyoya about this damned place! Who puts that much into a wave pool?! And another factor is the vast jungle without maps all around the place! For crying out loud his family doesn't have to be this authentic!
Dodging birds and avoiding swamps with alligators, I've been contemplating on why I feel I know Takeshi from somewhere a long time ago. Have we perhaps met somewhere when I was still an aristocrat? Should I ask him about meeting with a family named the Matsumoto's? But what if that makes him wonder about me? How should I even progress with a question like that?
"Kasumi…"

"Y-yes," I say, surprised.

"I know…of your family," he said to me.
My heart was racing! He already knew of my family as well as me?!
"You looked troubled…"

"Well…" pouting a little bit, guess it was bound to happen sometime with all these rich people. My parents did throw a lot of par—"AAAAHHHH!" I shouted and surprised him. "Sorry," I say. "I just remembered why you look so familiar to me," I laughed nervously. "You and your family were business partners with mine. I forgot…"

"Mm," he nodded.

"Guess that means you know of me and stuff…like you said." he nodded. "Well then," clearing my throat. "Looks as if I have nothing to hide when around you and Honey huh," I say.

"….sorry for your families death," he says.

"Hey don't get gloomy on me Takeshi," I say. "What's been done has been done…I can't do anything about it now."

"That's not true," he says.

"Oh," helping him out on moving a few giant leaves to clear the way, I listened. "Do tell…"

"You have Kim…and you also have Mitsukuni and I…" he says. "We can help you if you only asked us," his eyes on me kindly, I felt happy about this.

"…..I never thought about asking others for help after what happened." I say. He nodded quietly and moved easily through the foliage more. "Ever since that incident with the fire…I can't even stand to see myself asking for anyone's help other than myself. Would you guys really….help a fallen aristocrat?"

"We would help a friend," he smiled.
That did it in for me into wanting to hug him. Technically I just did it and wrapped my arms around his neck in a strong grateful way. He patted my back gently and I could feel his smile on my collarbone. Which reminds me…I'm in a bikini while he's topless with his shorts on. Him carrying me and our bodies pressed together means our skins have been in contact for some time now. WHY AM I JUST REALIZING THIS?!

"—/—" my brain is literally on fire from this and I felt emotionally unstable at this point now. Plus the fact this bikini over emphasizes my boobs and I'm practically suffocating him while hugging. "Sorry about this Takeshi…" I said. "This is now very awkward…"

"Mm," not really agreeing to disagree, I moved away and shifted a little ways to make it a bit more bearable. "The hut," he pointed out.

"We found it," happy now I can be put down, he did so and I hobbled my way over to the map I saw. "let's try and see where we are to meet back with the others." Scanning the map and seeing where the wave pool started, we had to backtrack a little back down and make a right by a pond. "Alright I got my bearings now, and I can walk for a bit to give you a break."
Suddenly a rain shower began and I ducked for cover in the hut. "Really, rain?" I sighed.

"We can rest here till it stops," Takeshi says.

"True…" sitting down and rubbing my knee, I looked to Takeshi and patted the seat beside me. "Sorry, but I get cold when it rains…" sheepishly asking to sit beside him for warmth, he complied and I huddled close. "Hate rain….my body temperature drops and I practically freeze to death."

"That so…"
We sat here for a while and stared out at the rain. Now that I think about it all, this is the most I've heard him speak so much. Even before at parties I've hardly ever heard him speak.

Staring out blankly to the rain and seeing my past through the mist, it was strange talking about it so openly to him. Kim has always been by my side and I can tell her anything that troubles me. Lately though ever since I asked Kyoya for help I've secluded myself from her…
It's not like I mean to do it, but it happens every now and then when I feel agitated with myself. Always relying on myself for so long without needing others, it hurts my pride and I can't stand it! Now that I'm here with someone who knows of my past, would it make things easier for me?

"The rain is letting up," he said.
Getting ready to walk through the jungle, he picks me up again without word and started carrying me again.

"I can walk Takeshi," I said hurriedly.

"Its fine this way," he says.

"…are you a secret pervert Takeshi," I teased. He furiously shook his head in a comical fashion and I began laughing. "Ahahaha that was too funny!"
Making the mood lift and continuing our journey back to the others, we came into a clearing when suddenly all these men dressed in armored suits came up and surrounded us?!

"…we ask that you put the girl down and step away pal," one of them spoke.
Takeshi held me tighter.
"We have located a suspicious figure as well as the lost woman," one called it in, but not knowing who, and I went to talk when one grabbed my arm forcefully!

"Ow," I yelped.
In a quick half second I saw Takeshi take the guy out in one move and sent him flying. My eyes widened, I had no idea he could move so fast with me in his care!
"Well damn…" looking at Takeshi briefly and seeing his eyes were narrowed to the threat around him, I patted his shoulder to let me down. He silently refused but the men around aimed their gun now. "Don't get hurt because of me," I said quietly to him. The guns were enough to subdue any plot of mine, but then there was someone yelling amidst the trees?

"Out of the way, Takeshi!"
Honey appeared by swinging through the trees and kicking a man in the face hard and with some density. Several aerial flips later he landed and the men claimed him as a new threat. Seeing a dark side to Honey and watching the scene play out as each man was taken out, I was watching with wide eyes. Each man was taken care of swiftly and without much justice to cracked helms. He was finished and stood in the center and scolded all of them for hurting his friends and being his innocently sweet self again.
"Hurting my friends is bad," he said.

"…..Honey-sempai," have I called him sempai? I don't really care now seeing as I was officially impressed with this predicament.

"Ah, Mori-sempai and Kasumi are here!"
Hearing the others and turning, Takeshi placed me down and immediately I had Kim run up to me and choke-hold me.

"K-Kim," choking, "can't breathe…."

"I was worried about you…" she says. Shaking as she held me, her grip loosened and I hugged her back.

"Takeshi did an excellent job being a proper gentleman," I spoke to her. "There was nothing to worry about," I say.
She nodded.

"I can't believe this is all Honey-sempai's work," said one of the twins.
Looking at them poking the poor man and looking at Honey, I could hardly believe what I saw.

"So…this is normal to you guys about Honey?" I asked basically anyone at this point.

"Well, yeah," says Kaoru.

Tamaki waltzed up to me and explained Honey's family being a martial arts line that's trained forces here in Japan as well as across the sea. Revered as the Judo and Karate National Champion as well. I looked in disbelief and was also told Takeshi was the Kendo National Champion as well and that was more believable.
Getting that information and seeing Haruhi look shocked to the sight and news, she probably fell into a small dimension thinking he was on a whole different level.

"Takeshi," Honey went to him, "You did great taking care of Kasu-chan! I bet you were lonely without me," with a smile on his face as he pats Takeshi, he said "Not really" to Honey. A smile and a little man-to-man reunion happened and I saw Kyoya from the corner of my eye.

"….I got some complaints about this resort Kyoya," I smiled.

"That so" smiling back.

"Big time," enjoying this converse we were having and telling him of the insufficient maps in the areas as well as how too authentic it was here, he chuckled. "Seriously Kyoya, this resort can tone it down on the realism," I said.

"I will look into it with the contractor and get it fixed." Jotting it down in his black book, I swear to myself that one day I will get my hands on that damn thing and see what he's always writing in it!

"….."

"Something else on your mind," he asked.

"…..nothing in particular," turning away and holding Kim's hand, "I think I've had enough jungle time to last me my whole life."
Everyone started heading back to where we originally were and the twins suggested we go to the beach the next time. Tamaki thought about Haruhi and her dislike of the pool to be the same for the beach. She corrected him and said she would rather enjoy the beach, since it wasn't enclosed and the water is beautiful. That got Tamaki riled up and deciding all on his whims to go to the beach the next time.

"Looks like I predict more water in your future Kim," I teased.

"….." she was silent and I saw her already pale complexion go even paler.

"You don't have to get in the water Kim, this was enough to make Kaoru happy." She nodded. "Oh…" seeing progress and the suit work well in her favor, she told me the awkwardness and how she didn't know what more to say when they were alone. "We'll have to work on that now won't we," I grinned.

"You're one to talk Kasumi," she looked at me. "You and Kyoya are either hard heads in admitting you like each other or he's waiting for you to make the first move." She says.

"HAH," saying that out loud without meaning to, I covered my mouth and looked at her. "There is nothing going on between me and Kyoya," I say.

"…..soon there will be," she mumbled. I hope I heard wrong as she skipped merrily back to the others while I stood there cautiously thinking what was to happen from here on out.
