Kim

The girls with Haruhi were frantic with Kasumi fighting three men alone up top the boulder. I know Kasumi can fight and handle herself against three lousy guys, but when I saw them running off the rock and falling all over themselves, they seemed more frantic then scared? Hikaru and Kaoru followed Tamaki's orders to go and chase them, getting I.D and reasons to why they are trespassing on a private beach. But where was Kasumi?

"She's not coming down," Haruhi's voice choked. She looked worried, and I felt something had happened.

"I'm going up," running up there and seeing no one was here at all, just where did Kasumi go? "Kasumi…" I muttered.
That's when I noticed the fresh trickles of blood on the rock and saw where it was heading. I ran to the edge and saw red in the water, meaning she fell and was bleeding to death!
"KASUMI," I screamed.
Immediately Tamaki and Kyoya ran to me wondering why I screamed and I was shaking from fear of going in the water itself.
"KASUMI," I screamed again.
Next thing I knew I watched both Tamaki and Kyoya dive into the water to go and rescue her.

"Kim," Haruhi gasped for breath as she saw me. "Did Kasumi fall," she asked quickly.
I was too riled up to talk. I'm not even capable of diving into the sea to save my only friend I love as close as family! Now I know how she feels when she felt so powerless when saving me. This feeling of dread and regret is just too much to handle without breaking apart!
"Kim," Haruhi hugged me from behind. "Sempai and Kyoya-sempai went in after her…she'll be alright."

"…." Staying silent as I waited agonizing seconds for them to surface, I saw bubbles come up close to shore and ran down to the beach to see if it was Kasumi.
Getting there and seeing Tamaki empty arms and looking like he regrets ever surfacing, I collapsed to the ground and stared at the sea that could have possible swallowed her up.

"Kim…." Tamaki started to speak, but he cut off as his fists' balled up and he looked angry.

"…..Ka…sumi…" tears falling, my body just felt lifeless not seeing her come up. Seeing no one coming up from the sea…

"Ah, there," Honey shouted.
I looked to where he was and saw a silhouette form on the far shore. Kyoya found her…
"Kyo-chan has Kasu-chan," Honey celebrated.

"Good," Tamaki breathed.
My legs were far gone to move as Kyoya brought Kasumi over, but he seemed rushed to do so as his face was contorted. He set her on the ground the moment he came to the shore and he began using CPR.
"Not breathing," Tamaki gasped.
I watched as Kyoya began to try and resuscitate her back to life and I lost myself. Crying and dragging myself over to her and seeing how lifeless she looked, what was I supposed to do from here?!

"Kasumi please…." I sobbed. "Please don't leave me…"
Kyoya breathed again into her mouth and pumped her chest to get the water out and after what seemed like eternity, she coughed it up.

"Let her breathe," Kyoya said.
I watched her roll to her side and cough the water up. She looked ragged and pale than I would ever see her, and the twins just had to bring the culprits towards me.

"Is she alright," they both asked.
I glared at the guys that did this and felt rage and anger boil through my veins. Standing up and stomping to them, I grabbed one by the collar and demanded who did this to Kasumi!

"I-It was Sunoda…!" He cried out.

"I-I didn't mean to—" I flat out punched the guy in the face, knocking a few teeth and breaking his nose. The twins retreated and dropped the other two while I kicked them and punched the hell out of them until I heard Kasumi trying to speak.

"Kasumi," rushing to her side and seeing her eyes trying to focus, she looked as if in a daze. "Kasumi are you alright," needing to hear her talk at least one word, she could only move her lips weakly to a yes as far as I could tell.

"I'll get her treated by a doctor right away Kim," Kyoya spoke. "She has a wound to her head that may require stitching." He told me.

"…" shaking in anger and facing the boys behind me, I snarled. "YOU WILL PAY FOR HER BILLS AND THE APOLOGY BOUQUETS FOR THE GIRLS YOU FRIGHTENED!" I snapped. I looked to Honey and Takeshi and gave them a nod to drag them away from me while I cool down. "Please take care of her," I asked him.
He nodded, then picked her up gently and cradled her in his arms. I never noticed this before…but with Kasumi cradled against Kyoya like that it makes her look so small and fragile. As everyone headed to the resort, I followed quietly while trying to figure out how to make up for this with how weak I was not being able to jump into the ocean.

Dinner was quiet and awkward since no one knows how Kasumi is doing. We had set everything up earlier for her birthday, but since the incident I decided to take them all down after dinner and reschedule her birthday surprise on a later note. I haven't seen Kyoya either since coming back and I know he's with her. We ate the side dishes Honey, Haruhi and I scavenged and it was all good and all, but it was just so worrisome to not know anything.

"Ne, Kimmy-chan," Honey began. "Don't be so sad, kay?" he was trying to cheer me up. "Kyo-chan will take good care of Kasu-chan and make her all better." He says.

"….I know…" I said.
Everyone just kept quiet after that and the doors swung open gently to reveal the doctor!
"How is she," I asked in a hurry.

"…" he looked at me and curtly nodded. "She'll be fine with bed rest and the medicine I subscribed her. A few stitches were needed, but there wasn't any trauma to the brain."

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness," I say.

"I'll be off then," he bowed his head and was on his way.

"….." looking down the hall and wanting to go and see her, but then again wanting to leave her to rest, what more can I do? I'm relieved she's alright though and someone is with her for the time being…I'll go in when everyone else is asleep. So much for celebrating her birthday today of all days.
