Mall Dilemma
Kim

It was two weeks after the party I held that Kasumi and I were rudely awakened to go somewhere. Tamaki had this insane proposal to go and explore a mall exhibit that comes every year for a week or so and dragged everyone along with him. Haruhi was not included in this due to Tamaki wanting to explore the commoner world on his own. But he woke Kasumi up at the crack of dawn by calling her multiple times. Thus waking me up as well. I hate the fact we are dragged into his silly games so damn early in the morning, but when I noticed the direction we were headed I perked up a bit.

"Are we getting Kyoya?" I asked. Tamaki seemed pleased with himself for gathering us all here to get him, and for a moment I wondered for what purpose until I recalled the type Kyoya is in the morning.

"I have a mission for you two," he looked at us and Kasumi did not seemed at all pleased where this was going. In fact she looked ready to murder him for waking her up so early. "Kyoya won't do harm to you two no matter the circumstance, so you will have to wake him up."

"….you must be joking," Kasumi scoffed to the thought of this and looked his way. Her glare was more menacing than I could imagine it to be and it made Tamaki cower into the leather bound seats of the limo. "For one thing, I am not some pawn to do your dumbass bidding so early in the morning." She shifted and crossed her arms. "Two, Kyoya will most likely not want to come no matter who wakes him and I don't want to even bother!" She snapped. I came close and started rubbing her back to calm her down and her eyes started drifting.

"It's ok Kasumi, let me handle all this." She nodded quietly and I asked the driver to stop the limo. He did so and pulled off to the curb. "We will leave you all to do the bidding yourself, Kasumi and I are not participating this time." Getting us out of the car and heading to Haruhi's house, Kasumi seemed to have woken up a little bit with the walk and she looked around all dumbfounded.

"….when did we start walking to Haruhi's?" She asked.

I sighed whimsically to her thoughtless behavior and smiled. "I got you up a bit early to head to Haruhi's for the day. You've only been up for an hour at best."

"Is that so…" she looked so confused.
I love this little trait of hers though. If not for this little flaw of hers in the morning I wouldn't be able to have done half the things I've accomplished over the years to her. Now she believes it to be so natural, but it is my doing.
"…isn't that Haruhi right there?" she pointed out.

"…Haruhi," I greeted her and she seemed stunned finding us here. "Morning," I waved.

"Morning," she came up to us. "What brings you out this morning?" She asked.

"We thought to come and see you and your dad today. You?" I asked.

"Well," she rummaged through her bag and pulled out a flyer. "There's an expo today I want to check out, they have a few things I like." She smiled so innocently. And to think with Tamaki's plan to not have Haruhi at the expo, she will be there anyhow.

"An expo," Kasumi seemed intrigued. "Sounds like fun to me," she said. I wanted to so much slap my forehead, but I didn't. Merely going along for the occasion and wondering just how the others fared in getting Kyoya awake, I followed Haruhi and Kasumi and chatted with them the entire way with a smile on my face in thinking what a random day this will turn out to be.

Kasumi

Arriving to the expo and seeing a crowd of people gather, Haruhi was just so happy browsing around the place and seeing the items she saw in the flyer. I asked her if she was going to buy anything and she merely waved a hand saying she only came to look. Kim and I didn't want that and I slipped into her bag a small bundle of cash.

"I can't accept this," she exclaimed. She tried shoving it back into my hands too.

"Haruhi," I wrapped her fingers around the bundle and smiled. "Take this as a gift from us to you for being so kind hearted and a hard working girl. Don't think anything of it and consider this a gift," I say.

"…" she grumbled a bit and did not like the idea of taking money, but she accepted it.

"Haruhi," I looked at something on a wall while on our way to the mall and there seemed to have been a show playing today. "Do you perhaps want to check this out?" I asked her. She merely shrugged her shoulders to it and said it was nothing special. Listening to her input and getting close to the mall now, we all started chatting randomly of our school work and scholarship funding. Kim and I have been slightly slacking in our art, but luckily gaining favor with the chairman we have been able to stay and attend the school.

"We're here," Haruhi said. Kim and I looked at the large building holding the expo and went on in to find the place packed! We explored the bottom level first before heading to other levels when Haruhi told us she'll be right back after going to the restroom. Kim told me she had to go as well and I didn't need to, so I stayed back and waited for them on a bench.
As they left to wherever the restrooms were, I found something intriguing! A stall that had figures of sorts that looked similar to the Host Club. There was a samurai that looked familiar to Mori. A child with an umbrella looked so much like Honey it was actually kinda cute. There was one for the twins that were cats really, and I thought about getting them for Kim when I saw a pompous king waving his sword like he was almighty look so much like Tamaki I busted out laughing. Some looked at me funny, but not caring what they thought I was caught off guard when I saw a figurine that had a mask hiding one side of his face and showing a normal expression on the other. Having it remind me of Kyoya, I backed away from the stand and had a little flashback to the Halloween dance.
Not only did that kiss start off on a relationship I was unsure about, I couldn't quite grasp the situation fully. I still have a few problems of my own to take care of that concerns my family business…but that won't come to play for a while now until I graduate. Honestly speaking I feel insecure of a relationship compared to the past relationship I once had. Probably the worst one I've had that scarred me for life. Of course Kyoya won't be 'him' necessarily, but the thought of someone taking hold of me again and speaking sweet words still makes me rigid. But I like Kyoya…a lot it seems…I want this to work out without the fear nipping behind me, but it will take time.

"Mommy~"
Hearing a child run away crying from where I was sitting at, my heart thudded against my chest and my mind blanked seeing Kyoya here of all places!

"….why is he here?" I asked myself. I could totally back away right now without him noticing me and all will be fine. Blend in with my surroundings!

"I'm going to kill Tamaki," I heard him curse. He seemed awfully pissed off at Tamaki for some reason and I had this nagging feeling I knew the reason why he would be. Before taking notice of me I tried sneaking away when I heard Kim and Haruhi call out to me! "Hmm," hearing him hear my name and most likely turning to look around, I ran out of the area so fast to the third floor I probably left a dust cloud.
