Trouble Stirs the Franchise World?
Kim
A full month of our summer break had passed with nothing new and exciting and I received a call from Kasumi that she wasn't returning to school for the new term? Calling me so early was weird for one thing, but all this was like a nightmare. I'm really worried about this sudden disappearance of hers and telling me she wasn't to return to school. When I got to the host club in music room 3 the next day for the new term the others were talking casually to one another and didn't notice my pain. That is…until Kaoru greeted me and instantly knew my feelings.
"Kim, what's the matter," he asked. His hands on my shoulders and trying to figure it out by looking, the others came over.
"Kim, where is Kasumi," Tamaki asked.
I lost it and started crying into Kaoru's chest when everyone was startled.
"Kimmy-chan," Honey was saddened by my appearance first thing in the morning, but what more was I to do of this? Kasumi left without a trace of her whereabouts and I don't know what to do!
"Kasumi's gone…" I cried. "She called and said she wasn't coming back to school."
"…..tell us what happened," Kyoya asked.
I glanced at him and saw him shaking. He couldn't even write in his notebook and he had to sit down. Something just feels wrong about all this, but what could it be?
"…I received a phone call earlier this morning," wiping my tears and holding onto Kaoru, I continued. "She said she was needed somewhere but wouldn't tell me. Her voice sounded so robotic to me…like she had to hide herself over the phone. I have no idea where she is and what happened…but I was with her all day yesterday and nothing seemed out of place. But to be told she won't come to school any more made me worry and I don't know what to think." Distraught over this event, Kyoya stood up and walked briskly to a computer where the constant tapping of his fingers was quickly filling the room.
"The host club is closed for the first three days. Do not allow anyone to enter," he ordered. The members saluted to him and started doing something within the room and pulled out their phones, making phone calls and helping me to find Kasumi. I guess having friends of the rich and wealthy do come in handy for situations such as these.
"Kasumi…where have you gone?" I looked out the window to the sky above and thought of our day yesterday to see if anything strange popped into my mind. Nothing did. My thoughts only rolled to where she could have gone and to why this sudden decision never to come back.
Kasumi
The sound of my feet tapping against the cold hard floor echoed as I walked these dreary halls. I haven't heard this particular sound in such a long time, it makes me feel cold inside. When I saw the oak laden doors, I opened them slowly, hearing the creak it made from the iron and saw the hollow room inside. All that was in it was a desk, a computer, and three chairs. This room is cold, yet it is a part of my past I can never get away from. A cold past of which I thought to have ridded myself with three years ago…
"Welcome, Kasumi Matsumoto," a voice rang clear in the chair behind the desk. He turned slowly and revealed himself. "Have you been well over the years without me," he asked coyly.
"Zen…how I loathe you sitting in that very chair," I seethed.
That particular chair my father once sat in. The same chair I took hold of and claimed the rights to the business and carried it through for a year before deciding to go to school. The very chair he is sitting and desecrating on.
"Oh," his smile bathing his ego, I grimaced. "But there was a time you loved this chair that I sat in." Getting up and walking around the desk, he came walking towards me and I could do nothing but stand here. "And a time you loved me," he says. He tilted my chin up and looked at me with his cold gray eyes.
"There was a time I had feelings for you, but that is long since over." Slapping his hand away and glaring at him, he didn't seemed fazed.
"Well I see you came due to my love-call." He smirked.
"You mean threat," I corrected. He smiled and took my hand by force while throwing me to the chair harshly. "What do you want of me Zen," I snapped. "You threatened my friends and Kim," seething between words, he could only smile! "What more do you want other than owning my family's corporation," I growled.
"I want you," he said.
Taken aback by his words and sinking into the seat as he came over, he leaned close and stared into my eyes greedily.
"If you value your friends and Kim as much as I think you do, you will do as I say." Cupping my cheek and making his intentions known, just what more does he want of me after giving up everything? I left everything in the circles hands to do whatever they deemed was right for the corporation. Never have I expected this turnout.
"You have the company and its benefits it has ascertained over the years," I snapped. "Why do you want me," I hissed.
"Because without you the corporation isn't fully mine, Kasumi;" He spoke in a low tone and forced his lips upon mine. I repeatedly bashed his chest and back to get him off, but it only enforced him on me that I felt his tongue slip in and I bit down and tasted blood.
"Gah," removing from me and looking shocked, he wiped his chin and saw his blood and glared. "Well haven't you gotten vicious," he huffed.
"Next time you do that it'll be more than that tongue that gets bitten," I say.
"Hoho…" he seemed to enjoy that line. "I look forward to it then," his thumb glided across my lower lip and I felt disgusted. "As for the terms for this agreement to keep those friends safe, you have to work under me at all times."
"…Tch," not having any choice in the matter, I glared to be my response.
"I look forward to working with you, Kasumi," saying that as he left me alone in the office, the tears would wait no longer and fell.
"…Kim…Kyoya…I'm sorry…" burying my face in my hands and on the floor, I felt so alone. "I had no choice," I cried. "No choice at all…"
