Charity was in the apartment, sitting on the couch and cradling a sleeping AJ in her arms. She had just fed him and burped him and he had fallen asleep snuggled up to her. Tony had gone downtown to get them something to eat. Dan would be coming over, bringing the paperwork for Tony to fill out and sign for his time away.

Charity held AJ for a few more moments before gingerly laying him down in the bassinet that they kept in the living room for him. She then stretched out on the couch. She knew that Tony would be returning soon. They were both getting rather worn out. AJ was a very hungry little boy, up and down all hours of the night eating.

The best part about him eating so much was the fact that AJ now weighed eight pounds. He was starting to develop some little fat rolls. Charity let out a yawn as she stretched on the couch. "Maybe if I close my eyes for just a few minutes." She muttered to herself, closing her eyes. "When Tony gets in, I'll wake up."

Charity was soon drifting off to a deep sleep, that was likely to only be woken up by the sound of AJ crying or fussing. She was starting to become attuned to the slightest little noises he made, waking up at the slightest whimper or cry from him.

Tony...

Tony exited the diner that was just down the street from the apartment. He was carrying a bag that contained a burger and fries for himself and a grilled chicken sandwich for Charity. He had a cup of coffee for himself and a milkshake for Charity.

He walked up the street and was walking into his apartment building. Dan was standing by the elevator with the paperwork for Tony's leave. "Hey, Dan." Tony greeted.

Dan turned around. "There's the new proud papa." He greeted. "I thought your days of food runs were over since Charity isn't pregnant anymore?"

Tony chuckled. "Still have food runs, but it's normal food now."

The elevator doors opened and they stepped inside. "So how's the little guy doing?" Dan asked.

"Great. He's eating like it's going out of style." Tony answered. "He's gained quite a bit of weight and getting chubby."

"So, he's his father's son?" Dan teased.

"He has a healthy appetite, all DiNozzo men do." Tony replied. "There is nothing wrong with that."

Dan chuckled and the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened. They stepped off and walked to Tony and Charity's door. Tony opened the door and they walked inside. They were greeted by the sound of AJ lightly snoring along with his mother.

Tony smiled as he looked at Charity. She was passed out on the couch, her mouth slightly open and just a bit of drool at the corner of her mouth. Tony set the food down on the coffee table and then took the blanket off the back of the couch and pulled it over Charity.

"I take it AJ is keeping you guys up and down all night?" Dan asked.

Tony nodded. "It's his favorite time to eat."

AJ stopped snoring and started cooing. Tony knew that his cooing would turn to fussing soon and wake up Charity. He ran over to the bassinet and picked AJ up just as soon as he started to fuss. "Hey, buddy. Shh, Daddy's got you. Why don't you stop that fussing so we can let Mommy sleep? Huh?"

AJ instantly calmed down and his fussing went right back to cooing. His eyes were opened and he was looking up at Tony, his little arms moving about. Tony grinned and kissed his forehead. "Someone's taking to fatherhood well." Dan observed.

"Well, I do have a perfect son." Tony replied. "I mean, have you ever seen a more handsome or well behaved baby boy before?"

"Well, of course...but are you sure he's yours then?" Dan teased.

"Oh, ha ha." Tony replied. "Let's just get my paperwork done."

They walked into the kitchen, Tony still holding AJ in his arms. Dan laid the paperwork out on the counter and pulled out a pen. "You want me to hold AJ, while you do that?" He offered.

"Sure." Tony replied. He then looked down at his son. "Your Uncle Dan is gonna hold you now. I know he's a pretty scary looking guy, but I promise, he's a good guy and won't do anything to hurt you."

"Now whose being funny?" Dan replied.

Tony passed AJ over to his partner and then started filling out and signing his paperwork. "So, who are you going to be working with while I'm on leave?" He asked.

"I believe Amy." Dan answered. "Are you guys planning on doing anything?"

"Yeah, in a couple of days we are going to head to Stillwater to visit Charity's grandfather." Tony answered.

"Try to make up for that first impression you gave him when it was clear you were sleeping with his granddaughter?" Dan teased.

"Trying to get to know him better." Tony replied. "And also, allowing him time to see his great grandson."

Dan chuckled and looked down at AJ. "Your daddy is a crazy man."

"Hey, don't be filling my son's head with that kind of talk." Tony replied, as he finished signing the last page.

It was then that they could hear Charity mumbling incoherently in her sleep. She tossed and turned a bit and was then shooting up into a sitting position and her eyes popping open. "AJ?" She said, her tone almost panicked.

"Charity, honey?" Tony asked not sure if Charity was fully awake yet or not.

"I've got him." Dan said.

Charity blinked a few times and shook her head. She then breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness, it was just a dream."

"What was just a dream?" Tony asked.

"It's not important." Charity answered. "I can't believe I fell asleep. I was only going to close my eyes for just a minute."

"It's alright." Tony said, walking over and kissing her forehead. "You deserve it...and dinner is there on the table."

Charity smiled and kissed Tony back. "You're the best."

"I know." Tony replied, giving her a wink.

Dan stayed and visited a while longe before passing AJ to Charity, when the smell of a dirty diaper got to him. "One dirty diaper and you scare all of these grown men who fight drug dealers and murderers for a living." Charity said to AJ as she carried him back to the nursery.

"Looks like you're both taking to parenthood well." Dan said.

"Charity is the best mother." Tony agreed.

"And to think, you two couldn't stand the sight of each other in the beginning." Dan replied with a chuckle.

"And now I can't imagine life without her or AJ."

"What are you two talking about?" Charity asked, her voice teasing as she came back out of the nursery, AJ cradled in her arms.

"Just how wonderful you are." Tony answered.

Charity just smiled and shook her head.

"Well, I'd better get going back to work and taking in your paperwork." Dan said. "I'll see you guys later."

"Thanks for stopping by." Charity said.

Once Dan left, Charity was sitting down on the couch, still holding AJ. "What do you say we have a family movie night?" Tony suggested. "Get AJ started on a good taste in movies right off the bat."

Charity grinned. "But what should we start him with? I mean his first movie...it is a big deal."

"You know...I can't tell if you're being serious or not." Tony replied. "But if you're not, I love that you're playing along with me on this."

"I know how seriously you take these things." Charity replied.

"It has to be something good...something worthy of being our son's first movie. Maybe some action and adventure." Tony mused.

"But also appropriate for how incredibly young he is and maybe some romance and fantasy involved." Charity added. "I want him to believe in true love and have an active imagination."

"Hmm..." Tony pondered.

"The Princess Bride." Charity said. "It has romance, fantasy, and sword fighting and such. It's also family friendly."

"Good choice, honey." Tony said, leaning over and kissing her. He then walked over to the shelf and picked up the DVD case and popped the movie in before settling down on the couch next to his wife and son.

About ten minutes into the movie, AJ was fussing, alerting them to the fact that he was hungry. Charity unbuttoned her shirt once again and began feeding him. "You are going to be too much for me to hold if you keep this up." She told AJ, her tone teasing.

"He's a DiNozzo man." Tony said with a grin. "And he's a growing boy."

"I know...he did have to get something from you after all. Since you know he got his good looks and sweet disposition from me." Charity teased.

Tony laughed and shook his head. He then kissed Charity's cheek. "You're lucky I love you, otherwise you wouldn't be getting away with that."

Charity grinned. "I'll never forget how lucky I am that you love me."
