Kasumi

I'm hoping they all are taking precaution about their actions yesterday from now on… the process of the codex is nearly completed and I can get the hell out of here! After yesterday I no longer want to be in Zen's clutches. I know I told him a day or so but it should be done in less than an hour to two hours max.
"Just a little while longer…" watching the codes go all across the screen and the percent bar rising, I thought about the threat Zen made to me over the phone.

Speak a word of this to anyone Kasumi…everyone around you will be suffering.

"There's nothing you can do to me Zen," I said brazenly.

If you do not come by my wish, Kim will suffer more than a few scars on her pretty back…she'll have a matching set on her face.

"That's not even funny Zen," I snapped.

And how about those rich friends of yours at the school; shall I drain their investments and send them each to the poor house?

"Zen, that's taking things too far!"

Then come to the company, alone, and without saying anything!

He threatened to bankrupt them all and hurt Kim…just how can I be called a friend if I were to allow such a thing to happen?
"I'm going to reclaim what's rightfully mine…" hating the fact I would have to re-enter into the franchise world and become the aristocrat I once was, I would have a lot of explaining to do when this is over with. "No other option than to strip this place bare and rebuild it from scratch." The download was nearly done…all I had to do was input the new master pass-code and everything will be under my reign.

The door knocked once, I turned the screen black and watched it creak open to find one of the employees bringing me a meal.
"Good evening Matsumoto-sama," he bowed.

"Hein…how low have you become while working under Zen," I asked.

"…." Saying nothing but serving my meal, he looked at me with sad eyes and regretted ever proposing Zen into this position.

"I suggest you leave this company Hein…things are about to get a little chaotic here." The screen turned back on and I watched the percentage go to a 100% and asked for the new pass-code. "I'm not a forgiving woman to hire a traitor to my parents' company," glaring at him while I entered it in, the systems turned off for a brief moment before coming back on full scale. "Computer, activate the security alarm system for the upstairs balcony and allow no personnel to escape."

"Understood," it spoke. "What else can I do for you Matsumoto-sama," it asked me.

"Do a system re-boot of what the program was four years ago and regain everything you've lost while I was away."

"Rebooting systems are in order," it spoke. "I found over 400 files needing your voice command to proceed…do you confirm?"

"Yes," I say. The alarm system went off and the computer pulled up a screen showing me a bright little room surrounded by marble and tacky décor I've come to know by heart. "You guys there," I asked.
Clattering was heard and I saw Kim first thing in front of the screen. She balled her eyes out seeing me and I tried calming her down so I could talk.
"Kim, Kim I need you guys to bring a car around here…Kim," her crying drowned me out and it was hard to get anything across. "….Kim if you can't hear what I have to say then what more can I do?" She hiccupped and started to look at me with drowned eyes. Why is she overreacting like this anyhow? "Kim, did something happen?"

"Kasumi….they came and…" she hiccupped and I felt my heart sink. Was Zen already aware of my plans and did something?!

"Kim, tell me what happened!"

The door slammed open and the alarm system was quiet when I saw Zen standing in the doorway.
"I knew you were smart Kasumi…but I've known you long enough to figure you were up to something." He held a tablet and showed me a gruesome scene. "I will dispose of your precious friends and leave you with no choice other than obeying my orders." They were in a cell that was tightly cornered and each of them looked ragged.

"That's going too far Zen…" I cautioned my words. "Just what do you think you're doing," I asked him.

"I'm taking what is rightfully mine." He answered.

"….." the computer was under my control and I could access where that cell is through the tablet. But what would he do if I tried?

"Try anything funny and I will drown their family into poverty for the rest of their lives."

"The Suoh family won't be that easy to do, even with the Matsumoto name! How can you take down corporations that stand on top of the world Zen, you make no sense!"

"Because I will use underhanded means to do so," he says.

"You plan on using threats to the family," I breathed. "…I will not allow that to go on." Standing up for myself and hearing Kim crying through the screen, I needed to return to this frightening world and stay. "Computer, access main data-frame and follow only my command!"

"What is your command, Matsumoto-sama," it chimed.

"The Matsumoto branch is only to be accessed through my voice," Zen was furious and was coming over to me, "and the only way anything is to be done is with the valid permission of I, Kasumi Matsumoto!" The sounds of it verifying my voice and having Zen come at me to strangle me to death, I held fast to his hands and tried to get through this.

"You're ruining everything!" He screamed.

"Gah…" being choked and having his body crash on top me, I was fazing in and out of consciousness when I heard Kim shouting for me. "Dam…mit…" digging my nails into his arms and kicking underneath him, he was really going to kill me!

"You ruined everything Kasumi! Why can't you obey anything?!" His eyes glazed with his fury, was this really the end of me? "YOU ARE MINE!"
Everything was starting to get harder and harder to focus on and my strength was slowly slipping away from me. I don't know how much longer I can hold out…

"Com..puter…free…host..ages…" I managed to speak and heard the system verify my order. At least with that the others will be out and safe again.

"If I can't have you Kasumi…" pressing harder on my windpipe, "no one can."
Suffocating is such an ugly thing…I think this is worse than a fire. Being choked by someone you once knew and having no way of escaping their grasp is by far the worst thing I've come to realize. At least in a fire I have a chance of going through the flames to the outside…this…this is entirely scarier. I think I was taking my last few breaths before my lungs gave in to the strain and I slowly shut my eyes.
"You won't be alone…" the clicking of a gun and being placed upon his head, Zen took his own life and wished nothing more of this world if he could not obtain what he wanted.
