I hope you enjoy this chapter! Pretty short, but hey...I updated haha...
Next one will be longer but will come later...I'm drawing a blank on how to continue the story~ hehe...

"Ara? You two are here for breakfast too?" Riko asked as she approached the table.
"Riko-san, good morning." Kuroko greeted politely.
"Hehhh? What is this? The whole team is here." Kagami said, noticing the unmistakable noise as their old teammates filed into the restaurant. "That hurts. Why didn't we get an invite?" Kagami asked pouting and feigning pain.
Riko rolled her eyes, "I did invite you. Neither of you answered your phones. We're supposed to not hang out just because you cant make it somewhere, Kagami-kun?"
"Well...I am a light, after all" Kagami smirked.
"You could say...He's the light of the party" Izuki said as he grabbed a seat next to Kagami.
"Booo" Kagami laughed as he dipped his fingers slightly into his water and splashed Izuki with the drops.
"Well then, how about you guys pull up some chairs" Kuroko smiled at Riko, changing the subject.
The team sat and chatted peacefully for a while. Kagami stared at his old partner, then Izuki; contemplating something. "Hey...The two of you...you both stare off into the distance alot"
"I'm just seeing things you dont see" Izuki smirked.
"I do space out sometimes" Kuroko shrugged.
"Hmmm well, I was just thinking who would win between the two of you in a staring contest." Kagami shrugged, not knowing the affect his words would have.
Moments later, Izuki and Kuroko were sitting across from each other, preparing for battle.
"I won't lose, Izuki-kun"
"Hehhhhhh, some big talk from a small fry"
"Izuki, the eagle eye, versus Kuroko the master of all that is stoic...who will win?" Kiyoshi said, putting on the voice of an announcer.
"Gehhh Why am I so nervous?" Kogenei whined as he started to bite his nails.
"Ooo, lets take bets!" Riko pulled out a notebook and began writing. "Who's got money on who?"
"Isn't that a bit much?" Hyuuga asked
"$20 on Kuroko" Kagami smirked, handing Riko a crisp bill.
"What? Are you trying to lose money? Fine. $20 on Izuki" Hyuuga said with a smirk, completely getting into the competitive spirit, and pulled out his wallet.
"Oh captain, you believe in me? I'm touched" Izuki looked at his captain with a smirk and fake tears in his eyes.
"Staring is one of the only things you're good at" Hyuuga replied.
"You wound me" Izuki said, pretending to be hurt. Kuroko fanned him with a napkin for dramatic effect.
"Don't encourage his behavior, Kuroko" Hyuuga sighed
"I dont want to hear that from someone who thinks I'm going to lose" Kuroko replied
"In his defense, you are going to lose, Kuroko My eagle eyes are not to be trifled with"
"I'm not discrediting the usefulness of your talents, Izuki-kun. I'm merely saying in a battle like this, I will surely win"
"Is that so?"
"Oi, can you two get on with it already?" Kagami sighed.
"This is a taco, burrito conversation, Kagami-kun. Nachos." Izuki said
"Yes Kagami-kun. This is an A and B conversation. Please 'C' your way out" Kuroko added. The two high-fived while staring at Kagami with unyielding eyes.
"What have you done to Kuroko, Izuki" Kagami shook his head with a laugh while the other Seirin members threw napkins and boo'd.
"Whatever it was, it was consensual" Izuki smirked.
"Lets get this started" Riko said, interrupting, "On your mark. Get set...STARE"
After a couple of seconds of silence, Kuroko cocked his head to the side, his eyes never leaving Izuki's.
"If you think you can use misdirection to secretly blink. You've got another thing comin'. You know that won't work on my eagle eyes, right?"
"I wouldn't dream of it, Izuki-kun. I was just thinking...there's something I've always wanted to say to you"
"hoooo? Now...what could that be?" Izuki asked leaning forward in his chair, never breaking eye contact, a smirk planted on his face.
Kuroko, likewise, leaned forward in his chair, the expression on his face as blank as could be, "Eagle eye is a dumb name for a basketball technique"
"WHAT?" Izuki barked and stood up from his seat.
"YOU IDIOT" Hyuuga cried from the sidelines.
"EH?" Izuki stood in shock."
"You blinked! He was messing with you!" Hyuuga covered his face, "You made me lose to Kagami!"
"And me" Kiyoshi smirked, happily collecting his money from Riko.
"AND KIYOSHI" Hyuuga leaned back in his chair and whined.
"You shouldn't have bet on a losing horse" Kagami smirked, waving his earnings in front of his old captain.
"Dammit" He grumbled.
"On a serious note...is eagle eye really a stupid name" Izuki asked Kuroko.
Kuroko shrugged, "mah." And got up to leave.
"Is..is that a yes? no?...oi! That wasn't an answer. Hyuuga-chan, Eagle Eye is a cool name, right?"
"Tch. You call me like that and you expect me to answer?" Hyuuga raised an eyebrow and follwed Kuroko.
"But..I mean...its my name. Its cool, right? guys?" Izuki continued to question the team as they began to leave the store.
After a couple hours of senseless wandering and talking, the team decided to part ways. Kagami and Kuroko walked silently to their apartment. "Time to face the music" Kagami said when they had reached their home. He leaned back on the door frame and watched Kuroko as he dug into his pockets to find the keys.
"seems like it" Kuroko said in his usual monotone voice.
"worried?"
"Not in particular." Kuroko shrugged, shoving the key into the slot and twisting the key. "Running away isn't my style"
"Pfft. Says the guy who ran away"
"...you got me" Kuroko sighed as he opened the door and walked into the apartment, Kagami chuckled as he followed his roommate. The two looked around and found, to their absolute surprise, the apartment had been thoroughly cleaned. Nigou bounced up to the pair. He had clearly been bathed and had a bright blue ribbon tied in a bow around his neck. "Good boy" Kuroko smiled at the dog and patted his head. Nigou whined and leaned his head up to the touch.
"You're not cute" Kagami scowled at Nigou when he pranced up to him, a smile on the dogs mouth. "Looks like those kids cleaned for us." Kagami commented, taking wide steps around Nigou.
"It seems so"
"Maybe you should seduce them more. Maybe they'll become our maids" Kagami laughed, earning his a rather hard jab to the ribs.
"Where are-" Before Kuroko could finish his sentence, they heard arguing coming from the kitchen. Kagami and Kuroko exchanged glances before heading to the noise.
"YOU DONT KNOW WHAT HE LIKES" Kise's voice rang out suddenly.
"SHUT UP! IF ITS NOT SEASONED IT WON'T TASTE GOOD" Aomine barked back.
"There's too much salt, Aomine. You ruined the soup" Midorima sighed.
"Hmmmmm...how did you ruin something so simple..." Murasakibara said.
"Start over, Daiki" Akashi said, sternly.
Kagami and Kuroko stood in the doorway, flabbergasted. The GOM were in the kitchen...cooking. They had obviously not had much cooking experience. There were drops of food on the floor and the cabinets. The GOM themselves were a complete mess. Even Akashi, who was as composed as they come, had flour in his hair, dulling his fiery red hair. Before Kuroko could say anything, Kagami burst into uproarious laughter. The heads of the GOM snapped in the direction of the noise.
"You guys are awful!" Kagami laughed, "Even I could do a better job! Terrible! Truly Terribe" He held his stomach.
Kuroko noticed the way the faces of the GOM seemed to drop in disappointment and sighed and jabbed Kagami again in the ribs, "Please take Nigou on a walk"
"Ah, I got in trouble. I got it I got it, already" Kagami whined, understanding that Kuroko might want to chat with the GOM alone "Come on you stupid dog. Don't smile at me like that!" Kagami barked at Nigou as the two left.
"So...this is interesting" Kuroko chuckled.
"Tetsu! T-this is..." Aomine tried to gesture with his ladel.
"What are you making?" Kuroko asked, walking into the kitchen.
"We thought we caused Kurokocchi a lot of troubles yesterday...so we thought we would do something nice for you...but we failed, didn't we?" Kise walked up to Kuroko, his head hanging low.
Kuroko chuckled again and gently patted Kise's head. Something about the way the GOM were pouting put Kuroko's heart at ease, "This wasn't a failure. I'm very happy"
"Y-You are...?" Kise whined, looking up at Kuroko with puppy dog eyes. Kuroko smiled and nodded. In an instant, Kise's arms were wrapped tightly around Kuroko's small frame. "WAHHHHH IM HAPPY YOURE HAPPY"
"Get off of Tetsu!" Aomine growled, prying Kise off of Kuroko. Kuroko gave a small thanks and looked around the kitchen.
"What on earth are you guys cooking?" He asked, staring at the variety of half made foods.
"I'm making pasta~" Kise said happily, pointing at a pot.
"M-miso soup..." Aomine looked away, a blush on his cheeks.
"Cake" Murasakibara said, scouping out some frosting onto a spoon and ate it.
"I'm making a roast" Akashi smirked, pointing to the oven.
"Mochi" Midorima mumbled.
"What...an interesting spread...and Mayuzumi-kun is...?"
"We sent that guy packing a while ago" Kise pouted, "Why? Do you care where he is?"
"As long as he's safe I guess? Here, I'll help you guys cook" Kuroko rolled up his sleeves.
"No. I dont think so" Akashi said, quickly grabbing Kuroko's arm and dragging him out of the kitchen.
"Akashi-kun...?" Kuroko cocked his head to the side slightly.
Akashi sat Kuroko down in the living room and handed him the remote to the T.V. "Just be good and wait for dinner, Tetsuya. Let us do this for you." Akashi said with a smile. Kuroko started at Akashi for a moment before slowly nodding. "Good boy...oh and...Tetsuya..."
"Yes, Akashi-kun?"
Akashi suddenly moved in close to Kuroko, he placed his lips next to Kuroko's ear, "I won't ever apologize for last night. I'm going to show you how serious I am. Prepare yourself" Akashi gave Kuroko a gentle kiss on the cheek before going back to the kitchen.
Kuroko stared blankly at the T.V for a moment before sighing and turning it on.
"I might be in trouble..." He thought as the heat rose to his cheeks.
My oh my, Akashi is rather bold, huh?
