Wheee~
Here we go..

Sorry for the wait~ As usual, please excuse the grammar and spelling, and everything else that might be terrible...oho

Kuroko sat upright, rigid, staring at the T.V. He barely registered the basketball game playing on the wide-screen. He had agreed with Kagami. No matter how Kuroko felt about the age gap, the GOM's feelings were feel. He couldn't just dismiss these feelings as childish wims any longer. He sighed and leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. It was a complicated situation. One he would have to think about very carefully. Suppose someone properly confessed to him...would he be inclined to say yes? Kuroko shook his head. It hadn't been long since Ogiwara left...and no matter how Kuroko wanted to stop the way his heart broke everytime he thought of it, there was nothing he could do. 'Going out with someone who has genuine feelings for me...while I still have someone else on my mind would be terrible' He thought, letting out a small sigh. He scratched the back of his head, unsure of what to do. 'Akashi-kun isn't the type to give up...and the others are just as stubborn' Kuroko thought. 'This might be bad'

"You look lost in thought, Kurokocchi" Kise smiled, plopping beside Kuroko.

"Ah, I didn't notice you had come in" Kuroko nodded at Kise, sitting back up.

Kise smiled, "I know. That's how I knew you are lost, Kurokocchi"

Kuroko stared at Kise for a moment. He was acting differently today. Normally, Kise would have tried to hug Kuroko by now. Kuroko studied Kise's body language and noticed how restless he seemed, as if he was...

"Are you holding yourself back, Kise-kun?" Kuroko asked with a raised eyebrow.

"T-that...mm...I am" Kise's face flushed red as he smiled nervously at Kuroko. "To be honest, I desperately want to hug you, Kurokocchi. But I know its a bother to you" Kuroko noted the way Kise's fingers twitched as he said that.

"Hm? Don't you always do that anyway?"

"But...I want...I..." Kise looked away "I want Kurokocchi to see that I can be an adult too"

"An adult?"

"Yeah. It...it got all messed up, Kurokocchi. You weren't...we...I...ve...been hiding it...well...trying to...and...then you found out so suddenly...and...you were supposed to see me as an adult before you found out...and"

"Get back in the kitchen, Kise" A growl came from behind them. Kuroko and Kise looked back to see Midorima holding a tea cup and glaring daggers at Kise.

"But-!" Kise tried to protest, getting up and standing in front of Midorima.

"I said, back. in. the. kitchen." Midorima growled, "Lest I tell everyone what you were about to say" Midorima whispered the last part. Kuroko raised an eyebrow when Kise squeaked and ran off towards the kitchen. "Seriously, that moron. Here, tea. Have some while you wait" Midorima sighed, shoving the cup into Kuroko's hands.

Kuroko winced, "ow...its hot" Kuroko quickly moved the cup to the coffee table and clenched his hands before looking at them.

"I-its...not that hot. Why are you so weak?" Midorima huffed.

"You couldn't feel how hot it was because your fingers are taped, Midorima-kun. But that really hurt" Kuroko sighed.

"Th..thats! Let me see!" Midorima quickly grabbed Kuroko's hands and stared at his palms. 'Crap...they really are kind of red...' He thought, feeling the guilt fill him. 'It hasn't even really started yet and I already...crap...'

"Midorima-kun..."

'Argh, that was a stupid move...Why didn't I check the temperature before hand...rookie mistake...'

"Midorima-kun..."

'In addition if Akashi finds out I hurt Kuroko, even on accident, he'll kill me'

"Excuse me..."

'Ahh...but I'm mad at myself too...How could I make such a blunder?'

Kuroko sighed and called to Midorima in a stern tone, "Shintaro."

Midorima's head snapped up, shocked green eyes meeting calm blue ones. "Y-You...just..." Midorima couldn't stop the blood from rushing to his face.

"You weren't listening so I thought I'd make you listen. If you're done inspecting my hands, could you let them go?" Kuroko chuckled.

"I'll..I...go...medicine..."

Kuroko chuckled, "Its fine. Its not something that requires medicine. It already stopped hurting"

"What stopped hurting, Tetsuya?" Akashi smiled, appearing in the living room.

"Nothing, Akashi-kun" Kuroko said simply, before Midorima could stutter another word.

"Hm, is that so?" Akashi smiled his usual menacing smile at Midorima. The green haired shooter merely adjusted his glasses and excused himself to the kitchen. "I just wanted to let you know dinner will be ready soon" Akashi smiled.

Kuroko nodded and thanked Akashi before sinking back into the couch with a soft sigh. Akashi left with a smirk on his face after hearing Kuroko sigh. It took a lot to get the stoic man to show emotions, and Akashi loved every instance Kuroko broke his facade. If something as simple as a dinner could make Kuroko anxious, Akashi was looking forward to chipping away at the emotionless Kuroko.

Soon after, the door to the apartment burst open and Nigou ran into the house, heading straight for Kuroko. The dog happily jumped into Kuroko's lap and looked as his master with bright eyes. The door slammed shut and Kagami's groan could be heard throughout the small space. "I hate that dog..." Kagami said to Kuroko with a heavy sigh. "I really hate it"

"Don't say that to Nigou" Kuroko said simply. Nigou cuddled up to Kuroko and whined happily as Kuroko pet him.

"Yeah whatever. The GOM still in the kitchen?"

"Yep"

"Ah...I'm going to go check up on them" Kagami mumbled, walking towards the kitchen, his eyes never leaving Nigou's until he rounded the corner. "What is that smell..." Kagami asked, walking into the kitchen

"Shut up, Bakagami! What are you even doing here?" Aomine growled

"...This is my house, Ahomine" Kagami bit back. "And you're making a horror scene of my kitchen"

"Not like you're ever in here!" Kise stuck his tongue out at the redhead.

"Actually, Kagami-kun cooks very often" Kuroko said, appearing suddenly, empty tea cup in hand.

"EH?!"

"Mm. In fact, Kagami-kun is probably a better cook than I am" Kuroko shrugged, placing the empty cup in the sink. While Kuroko's back was turned, Kagami gave the GOM a cocky smile.

"Then how come its always Kurochin that cooks for us?" Murasakibara asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Because I don't like cooking for crowds." Kagami shrugged

"In other words, he's lazy" Kuroko turned to Kagami, a ghost of a smile on his lips.

"Well...you're not wrong" Kagami shrugged with a smirk.

"Right right right, whatever!" Kise stepped between Kagami and Kuroko, "Kurokocchi, please go back to the living room ne? We're about done" Kuroko shrugged and silently went back.

"Doesn't look that way to me" Kagami sighed, staring at the mess.

"No one asked you" Midorima barked

"He is right though...and I'm hungry" Murasakibara whined.

"If you're so bent on not letting Kuroko help you, let me" Kagami sighed and reached into the closet to grab an apron.

"We don't need your help Bakagami!" Aomine growled.

"Looky here kiddo" Kagami grabbed Aomine by the collar, " I get that you don't really like me because you think I'm some weird threat to your whole...love...dove...bullcrap thing y'all have going on here, but surprise, I'm not. Kuroko is my best friend and my basketball partner. I may not understand this thing but I respect the concept of love enough to not poke fun at you. But there's one thing I won't let you just run over with your supercharged misguided hormone filled idiocy, and that is my precious, pristine, kitchen. And also, you should know that the one who pushed Kuroko into taking you children seriously, was me. So step to me one more time and see what happens, kiddo" Kagami pushed Aomine away and began to cook around the stunned GOM.

"You..did, Kagamicchi?" Kise asked, snapping everyone out of their trance.

"Yeah. So what?" Kagami asked, picking up the lid to a pot and shaking his head at the substance within.

"But...why?" Kise pressed

"What do you mean why?" Kagami raised an eyebrow. When no one responded, Kagami shrugged and continued to work on the food. "I just want to see Kuroko happy for once. He's surprisingly nosy, you know? For a guy like him who rarely shows his emotions...you'd think he wouldn't really care about anyone else, but he cares about everyone all the time. From complete strangers to animals, Kuroko puts every living thing before himself. I think...he might need someone who can take care of him. I'm his friend and I should do that, but I'm just not competent enough" Kagami shrugged, "You may be younger than us, but...you guys would do everything and anything to make Kuroko happy, right?"

"...C-c-count on us, Kagamicchi!" Kise practically squealed jumping up and down.

"That was...more insightful than I thought a gorilla like you was capable of" Akashi said with a smirk.

"Awwww Kagachin...that was nice. Here, take a piece of candy...only one."

"Psh, stop it you guys" Kagami grumbled, "Ah...there's one more thing I want to say..." Kagami turned to the GOM, a dark look in his eyes and a smile on his face. "If you hurt Kuroko, even if just a little, I'll murder you and go to jail laughing my freaking head off"

"yessir..." The GOM, with the exception of Akashi, gulped.

Kagami took whatever food he wanted and shut himself in his room, offering the GOM to express themselves clearly to Kuroko. Kuroko watched as the GOM seemed to try to get their thoughts in order. He couldn't help but smile when he noticed the way they were fidgeting and swearing. After a rather long and awkward silence, Kuroko smiled, "It's OK. Just say whatever it is you need to say"

"We're all friends. We thought coming to you together would be the best way to go about this...we wanted to be as forward and straight with you as possible. For our sake..." Aomine started, speaking rather slowly.

"We're not asking for a reply or anything. Actually, I think I'd prefer to not get one right now" Kise added, "We just wanted you to know our intentions. We wanted you to know that we're serious"

"Very serious" Midorima added, "We're not kids. This isn't childish fascination or a fading whim."

"You're saying you like me. I get it." Kuroko sighed, staring at the bright eyed GOM, all sitting on the edge of their seats in anticipation. Kuroko looked at them carefully and sighed. "However...it is no secret I had long since reserved my heart for someone else"

"Ogiwara?"

"Mm. As much as I want them to, the feelings I have for him won't disappear overnight. It may even be months or years before I properly can even think about being with someone other than him"

"Kurokocchi..."

"Is that OK with you? Is that really something you want to or can deal with?" Kuroko asked

"I think I speak for everyone when I say as long as I'm with you, I will be happy" Kise chirped

"Then you're not properly thinking about it, what that means." Kuroko's eyes lowered. "Every kiss, every touch, every moment, every romantic second...I will, despite myself, think of someone else. Are you telling me thats something you can deal with? Knowing the person you're in a relationship, the person you say you love, wishes you were someone else? Knowing that in my mind, it won't really be you, it will be him" Kuroko watched as the GOM's expressions froze over. Akashi sat, rigid, his eyes unblinking, simply staring at Kuroko. Aomine looked down at his hands, clenching them tightly. Kise's was looking away from Kuroko, his cheeks red with a mix of jealousy, anger, and confusion. Murasakibara was looking up, staring at the ceiling as if waiting for something. Midorima messed with the bandages on his hands.

"Of course you can't" Kuroko said, bringing the eyes of the GOM back on him. "I appreciate your feelings. I do. I believe if the feelings are genuine, everyone deserves a chance...but you should know, properly, exactly what you are getting into. You guys...are really setting yourselves up to hurt here."

"We know, Tetsu" Aomine's face was slightly red and there was hurt in his eyes, yet he still smiled at Kuroko, "We know all of that. We thought it over very carefully. But still...it didn't take long for us to realize no matter what, the chance to be by your side is worth it"

"Seriously...you think we would do something as embarassing as this without considering you and your past" Midorima huffed

"What he means is, no matter what, we love all of you, Kurokocchi. Past, present, future, we...I love you"

"There's no guarantee I'll ever feel the same" Kuroko sighed

"But what love is ne? Its bitter sweet" Murasakibara said.

"And taking chances!"

"You guys...are really acting mature" Kuroko said, feeling rather stunned that these were the same kids who tried to use a garbage bag as a sponge.

"Right~?" Kise jumped up happily.

"And just like that, the maturity is gone" Aomine mumbled putting his head in his hands.

"Way to embarass yourself...and us" Midorima nodded.

"You should stay quiet, Ryouta" Akashi sighed.

"Baka Kisechin~" Murasakibara sighed, looking down on Kise with judgement clear in his eyes. At that, the GOM were able to relax and return to their normal whimsy, making fun of Kise as the night went on.

Kuroko seemed to stay silent most of the time, merely watching as the GOM goofed about with each other. 'Maybe things will work out...' He thought, a small smile making its way to his lips.

"KUROKOCCHI~ They're being too mean!" Kise whined, throwing his arms around Kuroko.

"Get your dirty paws off of Tetsu!" Aomine barked.

"If anyone's dirty here, its you, AHOmine!" Kise retorted, wrapping his arms tighter around Kuroko's small body.

Kuroko stared blankly into space as an argument broke out between the basketball players. He sat there silently, still in Kise's arms, and ate quietly as the GOM went from yelling to throwing food at each other.

'or maybe it won't' Kuroko sighed.
