Chapter 380

.

Eve and Benson's orders were the same, to surround the Molochites on all sides and order them to surrender. If they attacked, they were authorized to use lethal force on all enemy combatants, regardless of age. They were also to take care to avoid hurting the infants, who were obviously too young to fight. They carried out their orders. Suprisingly the molochites did surrender. It seemed they weren't insane as much as extreme survivors. The leader had quickly assessed the situation and realized he couldn't win. So he surrendered, hoping this could keep them alive for maybe a few more hours. The ten infants were given to ten soldiers to e taken back to their camp. With them gone the molochites now outnumbered the soldiers five to one, but the soldiers had the better weapons.

.

Benson: Tell me why we shouldn't kill you all now.

Molchite leader: We serve our god as you serve yours, hoping to save ourselves.

Benson: I don't murder babies.

Molochite leader: Sacrifice some to save the whole. Let my people live.

Benson: Your people are as guilty as you.

Molochite leader: If you think your god is stronger, fight me.

Benson: Just you and me, one on one. Why not? Let our peoples know which is the one true god.

.

Benson and the Molochite leader fought one on one, hand to hand to the death. Their peoples watched. The Molochites were still being held at gunpoint. Benson won, and snapped his opponents neck. His people were terrified, begging forgiveness. Benson told them all to beg for God's forgiveness, they had ten minutes to accept Christ's gift of salvation, or else. Benson than motioned for Eve to join him in a corner, so they could speak privately.

.

Eve: What are we going to do with them?

Benson: I radioed my superiors. He's as suprised as we are that any of them actually surrendered. We can't take the chance they'll do this again, and there are no more prisons.

Eve: So what, they either become christian or we kill them all, including the children?

Benson: They might lie, and I've been fooled before. I'm not actually suppossed to give them this ten minutes. All things considered, I doubt God could forgive them for this. But in case I'm wrong, I wanted to give them one last chance to get into Heaven. Either way, in nine minutes, me and my men kill them all. You don't want your people involved, leave now.
