Arthur shouted into the cell before Halig's clenched fist could swing and find its mark. He would have admonished the bounty hunter instantly had his attention not been drawn to the figure slumped in the chair at the centre of the room. (Set in s02e09. series of loosely connected stories in which Arthur isn't an idiot, Merlin isn't a clumsy poor creature... Though it depends on your point of view. The consequences of some events knock on the door at the least opportune moments, the idea that a human's worth doesn't depend on who he was born sprouts green leaves, and readers learn things they didn't learn from the show.

Merlin meets a Girl in Camelot, Mary. She helps Gaius with all his patients and has a sad past. Soon his destiny will be linked to hers. I wrote this story for my teenagers. They were sad that Merlin didn't get a girl. I wrote a few Sub-Ep‘s and created an additional character. (I don‘t own Merlin)
