Sky.
After the concert, we flew back to Vancouver and I couldn't be happier to be home. A week later and we were sat in front of the television with our new addition to the family; Sapphire, our beautiful female husky puppy with gorgeous blue eyes, which Zed said reminded him of me. Sapphire lay in my lap as I sat on the couch, gently stroking her. She looked up in surprise when the front door clicked.
'Honey, I'm home!' Zed called out, making me laugh. He placed the bag he was carrying on the table.
'What's that?' I asked as Sapphire looked at it with curious eyes. Zed shot me a sexy smile and sat down beside us, giving Sapphire a quick stroke before she climbed onto his lap. I frowned at her. 'Traitor.'
'Well, are you going to look inside the bag?' My husband asked, his eyes shining. Whatever it was, it had put him in a good mood.
I reached into the white paper bag and pulled out a beautiful white book. Embroidered in silver thread on the front, it read: Mr and Mrs Benedict.
'Our wedding album?' I asked, running my fingers across the beautiful front cover. We'd been sent some taster shots via e-mail, but each of them was protected with a watermark. 'Can I open it?'
'Of course.' He laughed, scratching Sapphire behind the ears. She panted as she angled her head with enjoyment.
I opened the book carefully and couldn't believe how beautiful the photos were and I looked... alright... maybe even better than alright. There was our first kiss as a married couple, our first dance, our posed photos on the dock, photos with our friends and family. It was perfect and my eyes teared up. 'You know, there were plenty of times when I thought this wedding was never going to happen.'
Zed reached over and gave my hand a squeeze. 'Me too, but I'm glad it did, Mrs Benedict.' He reached over and kissed me softly on the lips, causing Sapphire to scurry away. 'Let's keep away from the adventures for now, huh?'
I looked over at the moving boxes in the corner of our new living room in our new home. 'I couldn't agree more.'
'Sky?'
'Yeah?'
'I love you.' He said, his eyes sincere and full of happiness.
I looked at my husband and returned the smile. 'I love you too.'

Author's Note
Thank you so much to everyone who has reviewed, read and favourited this story. I've really enjoyed writing it, although I feel that enough adventures and dramas have taken place between Zed and Sky now so I will be moving onto a sequel, but this time based around Lucy, Ed and even Willow. I will make sure that Zed and Sky are still a part of the story, so I hope you'll give it a try anyway. Here is the synopsis for my new story:
Rising Fame
Lucy May is a Savant who has recently found her soulfinder and is desperately trying to make it as a musician. What she doesn't realise is that her rising fame puts her in danger, especially in a world where savants are not welcomed. Will Lucy be able to follow her dreams and keep safe? And will her new abilities put her in danger?
Please give my new story a go. Thank you for reading!
