Senior Field Trip
Chapter 18
The students stood in the hallway staring in the direction that the Sky and Cloud escaped from long ago. There was a mixture of shock, disgust and envy in the eyes of the frozen students, Enma noticed when he made his way to them after the two left. Trying to hold back a laugh but failing the Shimon decimo,fell to the floor finally giving in to the bubbling laughter. The laughter sounded throughout the hallway, and had the guardians had opened their door to investigate the sound. The guardians knew it wasn't their bosses laugh, but identified it as Shimon Decimo even before seeing said Decimo on the floor laughing.
"Shimon Decimo, what is the matter for you to be laughing in such a manner?", asked the Storm. He and the Rain had exited out of the Storm's office.
Enma could do nothing but point at the frozen students before succumbing to another bout of laughter. As one the guardians moved towards the students, only getting it when they were face to face with them.
Takeshi laughed and turned his head to question the laughing Decimo, "I take it Tsuna has been through with Hibari?"
Enma finally regained some control, enough to get off the floor and answer the laughing Rain, "Yes, Hibari came to the and knocked, I answered since I was closest. We both exited the office when Hibari leaned down and gave Tsuna a light peck on the lips, however that didn't satisfy Tsuna so he grabbed his face and brought him down for a smothering kiss. What we didn't notice at the time was that the students were returning from the class lessons and has seen the whole thing. Next thing we know they were shouting, 'Dame-Tsuna, YOU'RE GAY!', Tsuna replied in the positive then walked away to have some fun with Hibari. He said you were right by the way Takeshi about work and play! After that he took off to the elevator and then to his room."
Takeshi gave a wolfish smile directed at Hayato, before turning to Enma with a goofy grin. "They were bound to find out sooner or later. So was it that much of a shock that they turned to stone? We should help them somehow."
Enma smiled a loving smile before replying to the Rain, "I don't think it was that Tsuna was gay, I think it was with who. Okay maybe it was partly because of Tsuna being gay, but if they all of you but Ryohei was, that would be troublesome. We should help them, Ryohei can you do anything?"
The Sun walked to the forefront and examined the students,seeing this was puzzling. Not knowing of any other solution the Sun took a loud breath and suddenly screamed "AWWWWWWWWWW" at the students. At once the students covered their ears and crouched down to get away from the loud noise. Even the guardians winced, Enma included. "All done.", replied the cheerful Sun walking back to the other guardians.
The guardians and Enma sweatdropped, this was nothing new for them.
"Damn, you want us all togo deaf?"
"What did you say, octopus head?"
"Why you…", Hayato went to lunge at Ryohei but Takeshi pulled him back and against him, leaning his head down to whisper something in the Storm's ear. The Storm quieted before pulling out of the Rain's hold.
The Rain stepped up and addressed the students, "Now, I know that you have been through a shock but there is nothing to worry about. If you guys would precede to your rooms and get changed, it's just about dinner time. Would you like an escort to your rooms or can you find them on your own?"
The student's stared at the baseball player in confusion before Mochida stepped forward and spoke, "Is anyone going to explain what we say? What is wrong with you people? Are you all…..gay?"
The Rain along with the other's morphed into demons at the statement against themselves and their boss/friend. "Come again, Mochida-Sempai? There is nothing wrong with us. Who we trust to share not only ourselves but our work with is none of your business. You ask us are we all gay, do you really want to know or are you trying to put on a brave face through it all? We will tell you the truth should you wish to know it, but you better think twice before you try and ostracize us because of it, understand?" The Rain stepped forward with every sentence followed closely by the guardians and Enma.
"Uh...You..didn't..answer..my..first question, though?", Mochida stumbled over the words trying not to be frightened of the monsters in front of him.
"Oh, you want you question answered, then wait until dinner when you ask your question to the person it's meant for.", replied the Rain. "Now go and get changed, dinner will be served in twenty minutes."
After that the students scrambled to the elevator, got in and disappeared behind solid metal doors. The tension dissipated when the students were out of view, the guardians and Enma that were crowded around the rain exchanged glances and shoulder squeezes before taking their leave to the dining room. The group finally made it to the hall and walked in, taking their seats quietly. Nono, the Varia and Reborn knew that something was wrong but didn't know how to broach the subject, before anyone could start the door opened again and the students piled in. The tension came strong and in waves, floating around the room.
Enma sighed, raised his hand and immediately a maid was at his side, leaning over to whisper he said, "Could you please go to Vongola Decimo's bedchamber and tell him that dinner is about to be served? The door should be locked so just knock, give your message await an answer and then return to the dining room. Can you do this for me?" Giving the maid a charming smile while a blush spread across her face.
"Of course, Shimon Decimo."
"Oh, I forgot. Disregard any sounds you may hear. Except for his answer of course." With that he motioned her to leave and she rushed out of the room.
After about ten minutes the maid came back, face redder than ever before, clutching her heart like she might faint. Enma shook his head and whispered to himself, "I told him to lock his damn door. He is going to give someone a heart attack."
The students beside him gasped, but he payed no attention to it. Motioning with his hand once again, Enma awaited a butler. Once one arrived he asked for some wine for himself and Vongola Decimos' guardians as they have had a troubling couple of hours. The butler nodded and quickly left to do the Decimos' bidding. He returned and filled the required wine glasses, just as the door opened once again, admitting and arguing Sky and Cloud. The butler looked up, then put the bottle he was holding down by the Vongola Decimos' plate.
The two made their way to their seats, still arguing only stopping once they had sat down. At once Tsuna noticed the tenseness around the room, especially around his guardians and Enma. Raising an eyebrow at Enma, across from him, he questioned, "Did something happen that I must be appraised of?"
At once the students stiffened and Tsuna developed a unpleasant smirk. "Do tell, Mochida-Sempai?"
Said student stiffened even more if possible, but tried to relax as he went head to head with Vongola Decimo. "Well, dame-Tsuna, not only did we find out that you were GAY but found you making out with Hibari-san. I think that is the biggest problem here."
Tsuna smirk turned deadly as he Mochida spoke, once said student was done Tsuna laughed maliciously before answering the now sweaty student. "Oh, is that all? Why do you have a problem with this? It isn't like this concerns you in any way. The way myself, my guardians or damn anyone in this mansion is, gay or otherwise is no concern of yours. We have a hard life and you know very little of it, don't you dare judge us when you don't know a damn thing!" Tsuna calmed himself down with the help of Kyoya before continuing, "Now, is there anything else that you would like to know or discuss?"
Mochida looked scared, he was shivering but he held his ground, "Yes, as a matter of fact. I would like to know, who amongst us is gay? I know you don't think we should know, but since we will be here for a while, I think we deserve to know who to watch out for."
Tsuna sighed, looking around the table lingering on his guardians, kyoko, Haru, Hana and Enma. "I can only answer for myself, Mochida-Sempai. Any other person will have to come forward on their own. I will not sell out anyone in this room, I do not care if your straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual or even asexual. Everyone in this room knows this, now if you would like to speak up do so now. If not then lets drop this subject and continue our meal.
Takeshi stood from his seat and cleared his throat to catch everyone's attention, the students looked at the baseball ace but no one else. "I have something to say, I am gay. Whether you hate me now is of no consequence to me." Sitting down, he raised his head proudly; turning to look at Tsuna, he received a beaming smile.
Hayata was next to clear his throat after standing, drawing everyone's Tsuna surprised before bestowing his Storm with the same beaming smile that the Rain received. "I also have something to say, I am gay. I have also been in a relationship with Takeshi Yamamoto for nearly four years." Sitting down he took Takeshi's hand and brought it to his mouth giving it a small peck.
Next to stand was Kyoko joined by Haru, both was holding hands and blushing. Kyoko spoke first," I guess it's our turn now. We have something to tell everyone. We are lesbians and have been dating for about two years. Whether you accept ours or any of the other's relationships remember this, WE DO NOT NEED YOUR PERMISSION! WE are happy being ourselves and if you can't accept that then you are close minded fools and we don't need friends like you." After she had finished Haru brought their hands up and gave Kyoko's a kiss much like Hayato did to Takeshi.
Receiving a warming smile from Tsuna the girls sat down and cried, Hana comforted them while glaring at her classmates. Tsuna sighed, then rose from his seat; "As you have witnessed I myself am gay. We will not speak of this any more tonight, eat your food and then make your way to your rooms." Tsuna sat and picked up his wine glass, but not before feeling weight on his right shoulder. Not having to look over he took his right hand and ran it through the Clouds silky hair; it's calming.
Before anyone could start on their supper however, Mochida stood up and shouted, "I will not accept are still some that haven't went. You all that stood up are freaks, I can't stand to be around you. I demand to know if there are any more freaks among us. I will not leave until you tell me."
With this the atmosphere turned murderous, not only by the people gathered around the table but the everyone in the dining hall. Tsuna signaled everyone to calm down, before motioning for a butler to come to him. Once a butler arrived, Tsuna turned away from the table and spoke, " Takumi, please make arrangements for the students to return to Japan. Tomorrow if you could, please. Please, have them pack their stuff tonight and set it in the foyer by the front door, please make sure they are gone before we wake." With this Tsuna stood and walked out of the dining room. The rest of the group except the students stood and exited the room as well, without a word. The students sat in complete shock, not even noticing when their plates, glasses and silverware were cleared away.
The students were then ushered out of the dining room and to their rooms by the head butler, who then told them to start packing everything that they came with. The students tried to protest but the butler would have none of it. After a while the students the students complied and started gathering their belongings. By the time the group was done it was nearly midnight, they fell into their beds while the butler along with some maids picked up their bags and took them to the foyer.
Meanwhile a certain brown-haired Decimo was sitting in bed with headphones in trying to make sense of the situation. Running a hand through his hair , the Decimo sighed. 'I guess there is nothing more for me to do.' After that thought, Tsuna moved down further into the covers and fell asleep to the music.
