The adults tried keeping the kids in the bunker entertained. They gave them cereal, played board games with them. Eve hadn't seen Lucy in the bunker. They said that during the killings Lucy tried to stop them, shooting the adults until she was shot down. Eve thought "Good for her." The they felt it. For a brief moment it seemed like the entire Earth moved. Maybe ELE officially hit, or maybe they were just imagining things. After what seemed like hours major Cox warned them that the tidal wave was coming. They should all take cover, just in case. If Eve had any ideas about one last look outside, that opportunity was gone. Then it came. Noone was really sure if they felt the Earth shake when ELE hit. But there was no doubt here. The shelter shook as the massive tidal wave hit. At least they still had reason to believe they'd get into Heaven. Still, Eve held Kyle, she just promised him it would be okay. She was as convincing as she could be, but he seemed to believe her. Then it was over. The former capitol was now underwater. These waters would recede before long. Cox and her team examined the shelter, made sure it wasn't too damaged. For all they knew the pressure of the water would destroy the roof, killing them all. Fleeing to the Arks might not be an option.
