Here's the final Ch. Guys

Jazz's POV

My little brother is home safe and sound. I just… I can't believe it. I've been so worried about him Day in and day out. Was he warm enough? Did he get enough to eat? Every second he was gone... I worried every time. It was even hard to study. Now he's finally home.

I think I could study, breath and eat properly. I placed my Phycology book on my desk and headed to Danny's old room… well… his room. I looked around it, it was the same as when he left. Bed unmade clothes on the floor, papers of old homework scattered on his desk.

I walked in slowly. Danny was helping mom with last minute dinner preparations. I took a deep breath. It still smelled like him even though since he's been home he hasn't been in his room.

So it's still the same as he left it. I grabbed one of his T- shirts, and smelled it. Still smelled like him... the room to, I folded his shirt and placed it on his unmade bed, and turning off the light before heading downstairs for dinner. Danny was placing a salad bowl on the table. 'Hey little bro... Helping mom with dinner?' I asked as I walked into the kitchen. 'Yeah... the plates are set thanks to you... and I did the salad and placed the soda on the table.' said Danny as he washed his hands. 'Good... Well I'm sure you must be... Really hungry.' I said as I washed my hands once he was done. 'Starving.' he said as he looked towards me. 'Really?' I asked a bit surprised. 'Well... yeah... I lived on the street. Meals here and there… showers even rarer.' He said as he looked down at his feet in embarrassment. 'Oh… it's okay... Danny… It's over.' I said as I hugged my little brother tight... hoping that he wouldn't want me to let go... just as I stroked Danny's hair... I never thought I would miss the feeling of it... and feeling it again... I couldn't have been happier. 'Everyone ready for dinner?' asked mom as she set the baked potatoes in the center of the table. 'And mashed potatoes!' yelled Dad as he set them down as well... along with cold slaw.' said mom with a big smile on her face... Happy Danny was home. We all were.

Jack's POV

Having Danny back in our lives... Has been a blessing. I prayed for this day to come and it's actually here... This is a dinner I will remember forever… I mean... I have my family... My whole family were at the table! In our home! I know it was wrong of me… us… to shun him and not accept our son for who he is... Well. Then I don't deserve him but he's here and he's happy…

And starving by the look of how much is on his plate… all in all. I'm glad he's here, and I'm happy to call him my son.

'Mighty hungry I see.' I said as I glanced at my son's plate… which was holding more than my plate! And I eat big portions. 'I'm really hungry Dad.' said Danny as he took a bite of his baked potato. 'Didn't eat much I see.' I said a tad softly. 'No not much...

Well until I met Sam.' 'Sam?' I asked a tad confused. 'Yeah... My girlfriend... Or uh girl im dating.' he said with a blush. 'Oh...' I said a tad shocked. 'Well were dating. It's not official or anything.' he said a bit nervous. 'Alright.' I said as I continued eating... I didn't want to pry…

He did just get home. 'So... Danny… You've been gone for a while…' Started Maddie as she sipped her soda, 'Yeah.. .' said Danny kind of nervous for the upcoming question. 'What have you been up to?' she asked as she placed down her cup and looked straight at him.

Danny's POV

'Um... Well... I did some things... I'm not partically proud of and made friends with this sly crow. 'Caw!' said Eric resting on the coat hook by the front door. 'Crashing at Tuckers here and there… eventually crashing at Sam's. I said as I took a bite of the cold slaw. Scavenging for food.' I said as I looked down at my nearly complete plate. 'Oh…' she said concernly. ' The thing you're not proud of?' asked Jazz as she put her hand on mine. 'I became an assistant… to a very cruel and malicious ghost... He wasn't the Devil, but people called him that...' I said as I looked down at my plate.

'What did they call you?' asked Mom. 'The Devils… assistant.' I said as I looked up from my plate. 'Oh...' they all said in shock. Do they hate me now? 'It's okay dear…It's your past.' said Mom as she served me seconds... I think she wants to get some meat on my bones… 'I know... But I keep thinking he'll come back and look for me… Which is why I could never sleep comfortably.' I said as I finished up my baked potato and started on my second helping of cold slaw. 'It's all over now.. Yes Danny.. Your home now.' Finished Mom.

I smiled a small smile.

'Thanks…. all of you. I'm happy, to be a part of a happy and forgiving family.' I said as I took my sister and Mom's hands and squeezed them gently. 'We're glad you're back to honey.' said Mom as she wiped her eye.

I smiled as I continued eating my food. Happy to be a part of such an amazing family. After Dinner I helped clear the table and helped Mom with the dishes. Talking to her about my yearly Journey. She laughed a few times... and cried at some. I never thought she'd care this much.

I'm glad I have her. 'Why don't we have… family time. With hot coco and chocolate cake… Getting to know our Danny... Again... .' said Mom as she rubbed my head.

We all agreed, Jazz set the coffee table, and Mom went to get the coco and cake.

I sat on the couch by Dad, and to be honest... I was a bit nervous. What did they want to know? I already told them about going down the wrong path... And how I saved myself from a horrible future... What more do they want to know? I took a sip of my hot coco… it was really hot. But apparently not for everyone else. 'Let it set a bit dear.' said Mom as she placed her cup on the coffee table. 'Oh... okay than.' I said as I placed my cup beside hers. We talked about what has happened since we parted... I couldn't believe all the awards Jazz got. I'm so proud of her. The discoveries mom uncovered... Those are great to. Dad just discovered a new flavor of fudge...

Which is great for him I guess... Some of the stories were pretty funny, especially the ones about Dad. I missed this… Spending time with my family. I remember I couldn't wait to get away... Now I'm just happy to be back. Are evening was going well… I was actually enjoying myself... That is… until… CRASH! I turned around to see that our front door was practically thrown out of its hinges. But who? Oh... No...' Hello Phantom! I knew you would be here!' …'I wasn't expecting you.' I thought I was done with you!' I yelled my family stared at the ghost that just stormed in... Than at me. I guess they were trying to figure it out. As was I why. Is he here? 'Dan?!' I yelled as I backed up a bit from the shock. He chuckled evilly. 'Danny… remember I'm you... I know everything... I know where you are at any time. It's rather easy... especially if you have this!' he yelled as he held up clockworks... Medallion. 'No!' I yelled through clenched teeth. Why.' 'Tisk, tisk, tisk… Danny... You remember our... Little... Agreement... Our... partnership.' said Dan… with a sly smile. 'I already told you. My debt is paid.' I said as I clenched my fists tightly. 'On the contrary… Danny your debt is far from paid.' he looked slowly around the room. 'Back with the fam... I see... Pity... They won't last the night.' said Dan as he formed a ectoball.. 'I told you to leave them alone! We had a deal!' Dan laughed. 'The deal expired the day you quit as my apprentice!' said Dan as he unleashed his ghostly wail. 'Cover your ears!' I yelled. They did as instructed and I also unleashed my ghostly wail as well… It was one on one, Dan and I in heated battle. My family hiding from the outburst. 'Where did you get the medallion?!' I yelled as I attacked head on. 'Does stolen from Clockwork... Ring any bells... I had to stay in this time somehow.' said Dan as he begun to attack head on now... not holding back. I tried my best fighting him with all my strength and power... But sometimes... That's not even enough. I fell to my knees with a thud... Blood running down from the top of my head down passed my eye. 'Since you won't be my apprentice... I'll destroy you so you can no longer be anyone's apprentice ever again!' yelled Dan, as he punched me into the wall.

I tried getting up but it was as if my whole body froze from the impact. 'Give up?' asked Dan as he dusted off his gloves… which is dumb since they were black and it's hard to tell whether their dirty or not. 'No! Dan this… is over… for you!' I yelled as I got up and fired everything I got at Dan with full force. 'This is your happily NEVER after!' I unleashed the biggest ecto ray I could muster and held it above my head with both hands… rage, anger, and fear etched onto my face.. 'I'm tired of this, I'm tired of being afraid of you! This is goodbye Dan! Forever!' I yelled as I fired my giant ecto ray ball strait at his head along with a touch of my Phantom freeze. Suddenly a giant light started to form in Dan's chest.

'What? What are you? No!' Dan yelled. 'I'll get you for this!' yelled Dan as he exploded, and disappeared. I landed softly on the living room floor. A few scrapes, bruises, cuts, and ectoplasm. 'It's safe to come out now...' I gasped. I was short of breath... I collapsed on the floor... Trying to regain my breathing. 'Is... He gone?' Asked Jazz as she came out of the kitchen cabinet. Mom and Dad were hiding in the closet. 'Yeah, he's gone... for now...' They walked over the broken coffee table... Along with shards of the broken coco cups. 'He's the guy… you ran into bad… stuff with huh?' asked Jazz as she sat on the couch... putting her knees against her chest. 'I did say it was like making a deal with the devil… which so happens… to kind of be me.' I said as I looked disappointedly down at my feet. 'Your safe… and you realized your mistake. That's all that matters.' said Mom as she kissed my head. 'Why don't we have desert now I'm sure all that excitement has cleared all our stomachs.' said mom as she ruffled my hair. 'Yeah desert sounds great...' I said as I followed her trying not to step on rubble. 'Our little hero deserves it.' said Dad. We talked and laughed and ate our desert. I've never felt more normal. It felt good to be apart... of a family... since it was me and Eric for a while. While I ate desert Eric nibbled on an apple slice he seemed really happy about that. I smiled... I was happy that Eric was happy and I haven't been happy in a long time…but something still felt uneasy…

'Dan…ny…' said a voice... I gasped.
