Disclaimer, by now you know.

Dorothy stared at father time. She then giggled at his dry attempt at a joke. She smiled and sat down.

"Well if your choice is made, come find me in half an hour, or when you think you've had enough time to yourself." Father time said turning and walking out of the room.

As Dorothy soon as Dorothy knew she was alone she brought her legs up into the chair with her and sighed. She then closed her eyes and began meditating like she used to. She then began to wonder how her friends were doing. Surely by now they'd have notice she was no longer in the city. And in fact they had noticed this.

Meanwhile in the emerald city.

Everyone had noticed Dorothy's disappearance however the only ones who seemed worried were Alex, and auntie Em. Glinda had told most of them about this plan but had left Dorothy's family and Alex out of it fearing they might be concerned about the idea. Though thinking it over again now that it was actually playing out she wondered if that was really a good idea on her part. Now in the chambers Glinda was arguing this part out with Alex and Mrs. Gale while the three of them were taking care of the babies.

"So, you really thought it was a good idea for you to make this plan and not tell at least Alex, I mean you know he'll keep his word, but at least he might have told me." Em said as she was feeding Robert from a bottle.

"Em, I'm sorry I didn't tell you but at the time I wasn't sure you'd approve, and as for telling Alex, I didn't want Dorothy to know and there's a chance he might have told her." Glinda said feeding Alicia.

"Glinda, you make me sound like I don't have much concern for Dorothy." Alex said burping amber.

"Alex, I know you have a lot of concern for her, but my worry was that since you really can't leave the emerald city I needed a place for her to relax, somewhere for her to calm down in the event that she nearly blows her stack." Glinda said setting Alicia down on the floor where she began petting Alexa.

"Glinda, I don't want to argue this with you, mostly because we're in front of the kids, but next time please tell us when you make a plan like this." Em said setting Robert down next to Alicia as patch and oddball walked over to him.

"I will Em, I promise that next time I come up with a plan like this I'll let you both in on the plan." Glinda said walking over to Alex and taking amber from him.

"But what about the scepter?" Alex asked referring to it.

Glinda sighed and looked at the scepter.

"It will be fine, while she's in Father Time's domain nothing can attack her, no one can even get to her, with the exception of the Nome king no one can travel to Father Time's domain unless he allows it." Glinda said.

"But doesn't that put the scepter at risk of being stolen?" Em asked curiously.

"Not really Mrs. Gale, the jester can't touch it." Alex said.

"Oh, okay then." Em said sitting on the floor next to her kids.

"At least she's safe in Time's domain." Alex said.

"Never call him just Time, for whatever reason he doesn't like being called that." Glinda said.

"Oh, sorry!" Alex shouted into oblivion.

"Well, at least you have some sort of courtesy." Glinda said regretting that she hadn't told these guys her plan sooner.

Later, Back in Father Time's domain.

Dorothy had been sitting there for nearly ten minutes listening to the ticking of all the clocks in the room. She had surprisingly found the sound of the ticking rather relaxing. She did do a little crying but then she began relaxing some more. After about ten more minutes she began dozing a bit. When she realized this she finally got up, stretched. And decided to go look for father time. As she walked out of the room she found herself in a room of doors. She felt like she was in the hallway of doors in the city. She stood completely still and listened to see if that would help. After a few minutes she came to the conclusion.

"I'm going to have to find him myself." She said sighing to herself.

Okay, I'm sorry this chapter was so short but I decided this part would be its own chapter. Anyways I promise the next chapter will definitely be longer.
