Chapter 19 : Snakes Alive
Mariner Bay - Harbor
Down at the Harbor Section of Mariner Bay the Psycho Rangers were enjoying themselves by destroying the buildings and terrorizing innocent people . Everything was in ruins and fire could be seen coming out of one of the buildings with trapped people inside .
" Everything is going according to plan . " Psycho Red said .
" This should drive the rangers out of hiding . " Psycho Purple aka Morgana looked at the other Psychos .
" Help us , " Some of the people in the building above screamed .
" They are hoping that the Lightspeed team will come in and save the day , but once they get here they will meet their demise infront of the very people they swore to protect . These pathetic humans will get to see their favorite heroes fall one by one until all Power Rangers are gone forever . " Psycho Silver aka Scorpina cackled .
" Sorry to burst your bubble , but you guys are believing in fairy tails if you think you can take down the Power Rangers when we unite as one big family . " TJ said as the Psycho Rangers turned around to see the seven Space Rangers standing there .
" Well , look who we have standing all alone , the Space Rangers ? " Psycho Blue laughed like they were a joke as Andros and his team stared down the Psychos with purpose .
" They are not alone . " Leo said as the Galaxy Rangers stood on the other side of the Psychos .
" Oh , please , I was able to destroy Galaxy Pink without breaking a sweat and we Psychos are much more powerful now so you all should be easy pickings . " Psycho Pink declared looking at Kendricks .
" But , how would you feel if you had to take on three teams of Power Rangers ? " Carter asked as the Lightspeed Rescue team stepped up closing the Psychos in with a circle of Power Rangers .
Just then Carter ' s communicator went off .
" This is Carter , go ahead , " Carter said .
" Carter , there are people trapped in the burning building behind you . " Captain Mitchell said .
" Got it , Dana , Joel , Kelsey , stay here and help the others while Chad , Ryan , and I will get the people out of the building . " Carter ordered .
" Right , lets morpher guys . " Joel said .
" Lets Rocket ! "
" Go Galactic ! "
" Magna Power !
" Lightspeed Rescue ! "
" Titanium Power ! "
Soon , the Space , Lost Galaxy , and Lightspeed Rescue Rangers were standing in their respective suits and colors ready to take on the Psychos .
" Alright , we will get the people out of the building , " Chad said .
" Lets go , " Carter and Ryan said as the three ran to the building .
" That leaves us to take care of the Psychos . " Leo said as they began to fight the psychos .
Leo and Andros took on the Red Psycho , trading kicks and punches with the evil ranger .
" Psycho Sword " The Red Psycho called his weapon to himself and started slashing at Andros and Leo with it .
At one point the Red Psycho Ranger had Leo down on the ground and was about to drive his sword through him when Andros called on his Spiral Saber and stopped the Red Psycho ' s weapon , throwing him back off of Leo .
" You okay ? " Andros asked .
" Yeah , but these guys are tougher than the last time we faced them . " Leo said .
A little ways off TJ and Kai were fighting the Psycho Blue who was also proving to be a very even match up .
" Psycho Axe ! Psycho Spin ! " The Blue Psycho Ranger called his axe to him and then started spinning around like a cyclone hitting the Blue Space and Galaxy Rangers violently .
" This guy doesn ' t quit , lets attack him together . " TJ looked at Kai .
" You ' re on , " Kai said .
" Astro Axe ! "
" Cosma Claw ! "
The two Blue Power Rangers launched their attack at the Blue Psycho , but he bounced right back after the blow .
" This could be a long battle . " Kai said .
The other rangers that were still on the ground were just as wrapped up as they were battling the Psychos .
Mariner Bay - Harbor Burning Building
Carter , Chad , and Ryan had made it into the burning building and finally had the last person out when these snake like creatures grabbed Ryan by the leg pulling him towards the inner part of the building .
" Guys , help me , " Ryan called .
" V - Lancer ! " Carter and Chad both rushed in and used the V - Lancer to slash away the snakes pulling Ryan into the building .
Ryan was able to pull free and back away to the Red and Blue Rescue Ranger .
" Man , I hate snakes , " Ryan said .
" We need to get out of here and help the others with the Psychos . " Carter said .
" Not so fast Rangers , " Major Sheeba said from behind them .
" Its Major Sheeba , " Chad said .
" You are correct , " Major Sheeba said as Ryan looked at him realizing that this was the thing that caused him so much pain back in 2008 .
" I will not allow you to destroy the Earth or my friends . " Ryan said to Major Sheeba not holding back his feelings .
" Ah , you must be Ryan ? Yes , I thought you seemed familiar Titanium Ranger , if it wasn ' t for you destroying my statue here on Earth then I would be here in mortal form . So , its really thanks to you I am able to serve the Virus on two legs again instead of from your body . " Major Sheebe snickered .
" And I will be more than happy to put you in retirement , permanently . " Ryan growled .
" That way you can ' t go back to the Virus or cause us anymore problems . " Carter added .
" We will protect the Earth no matter what the cost may be . " Chad backing up his fellow rangers .
" You three got guts I will give you that much , but it will take a lot more than guts to defeat me , the Virus ' s Army , and don ' t even think about taking on the Virus in your pathetic state . You might as well let me put you out of your misery or die here in this burning building . " Major Sheeba taunting the three Lightspeed Rangers getting ready for a fight .
The building started making noises like it was about to collapse making Carter , Ryan , and Chad look towards the inner part of the building and the window that was behind Major Sheeba . All three of them realized that they would have to go through him to leave the building safely .
" Looks like we will have to go through him to get to the other side . " Chad said .
" Any ideas ? " Ryan asked .
" I got one , Trans - Armor Cycle, Armor Mode ! " Carter calling his battlizer to him . He now had shoulder - mounted tire launchers , gauntlet blasters and body armor made out of the Trans - Armor Cycle
" Well , now I see you like the Red Time Force , Wild Force , and SPD Rangers have a battlizer . I wonder if it is as strong as the ones that Drokunas took on . " Major Sheeba smirked sending an energy blast right at Carter only to have the Red Lightspeed Ranger block the blast with his gauntlets and sending the blasts in opposite directions into the building .
" My turn , " Carter said using the lasers from the battlizer to make Major Sheeba dive out of the way .
" Now , " Chad said as he and Ryan ran for the window with Carter behind them .
Chad and Ryan were out first , before Major Sheeba pointed one of his harpoon launchers at Carter ' s back .
" Why you little pest ? " Major Sheeba said shooting the Red Lightspeed Ranger in the back as he followed his fellow Lightspeed Rangers out of the building making Carter ' s landing outside of the building not as pleasant as his companions .
" Carter ! " Chad and Ryan ran to his side .
" Ow ! " Carter rolled over onto his stomach making the other two gasp at the harpoon sticking out of his back .
" Lay still Carter we will get you help as soon as we can . " Ryan said as Chad raised his communicator to call the others .
Mariner Bay - Harbor
Outside of the building the Space , Galaxy , and other three Lightspeed Rangers were still wrapped up with fighting the Psychos when Joel got a call on his communicator from Chad .
" This is Joel , go ahead . " The Green Rescue Ranger taking cover with Carlos from the Black Psychos attack .
" Carter is down outside of the building we need help pronto before the building collapses on top of us . " Chad said .
" We are on our way . " Joel said as Major Sheeba came running towards them and the Psychos .
" Psychos , lets get back to the Virus we done with our job here at the moment . " Major Sheeba said .
" As you command , lets go . " The Psychos said as they disappeared with Major Sheeba .
" They ' re gone , " Damon said .
" Yes , but we need to go and help Carter , Chad , and Ryan . " Joel said as they ran as fast as they could towards the burning building when they got there they stopped and gasp at the sight of the harpoon sticking out of Carter ' s back .
" Guys , we have to help them . " Leo said making them continue to the others .
" Chad , Ryan , what happened to him ? " Dana asked concerned .
" Major Sheeba shot a harpoon into his back as we were leaving the building and it somehow got through the Trans - Armor . We need to move him before the building collapses . " Ryan said .
Ryan , Mike , Joel , and Leo took much care in moving Carter out of the way at the last second before the building finally came tumbling down where they all had been standing .
" That was close , " Damon said .
" We need to get Carter back to the Aquabase Infirmary . " Kelsey said as the guys got him in the Rescue Rover .
They all left the harbor back to the Aquabase knowing that the damage had already been done by the Virus through Major Sheeba and the Psychos . They just hoped that the other ' s were having better luck than they were .
" Tommy , " Andros called the White Falcon Ranger through his own communicator .
" This is Tommy , go ahead Andros . " Tommy said .
" Major Sheeba and the Psychos have vanished back to the Virus , tell them at the infirmary to be ready , Carter is down and its pretty bad . " Andros said .
" I ' m on it , Tommy out . " The original White Ranger said with sorrow and frustration knowing that another one of the ranger family was hurt by the Virus and his followers .
The rangers now demorphed in the Rescue Rover looked at each other with the same feeling , Ryan finally gritted his teeth in anger and clinched his fist .
" Ryan , its not your fault " Dana said
" If I had destroyed the Cobra properly then Major Sheeba would not be alive right now . " Ryan said .
" How were you to know that the Virus would bring Major Sheeba back to life ? " Kendrick asked .
" I don ' t know . " Ryan said frustrated .
" Then you should blame yourself in something that you didn ' t know was going to happen or the things you can ' t control . " Cassie looked at him .
" But . . . " Ryan said .
" But , nothing man , look I have been there before Ryan . I once thought that I messed up so bad that I nearly gave up being a ranger , but I found out if you sit around and moan about it then it doesn ' t help anyone . " Carlos looked at the Titanium Ranger .
" Major Sheeba will pay for what he did to Carter . " Ryan declared with more purpose .
" Then I suggest that you train harder for the next round you have with him . " Carlos advised him and they all left it at that as Kelsey drove the Rescue Rover through the tunnels to the Aquabase .
