Dorothy was finally woken with a start early that morning by the sound of the grandfather clock making six loud chimes. She got up and found that she was extremely sore and stiff from the awkward half sitting half lying down position she had somehow fallen asleep in. she yawned and tried to stretch but she was too sore to do so. She found Emma had already changed into a nice emerald green dress and was in fact sitting in a chair in front of the dollhouse, the door to the bedroom was open and the smell of fresh hot biscuits was coming into the room.

"Good morning." Dorothy said pushing herself up.

"Good morning, Mother and I put breakfast in the oven a few minutes ago, its biscuits and honey, boy do those biscuits smell good." Emma said smiling.

"I can smell them, would you mind turning around so I can change?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"Oh, right, of course." Emma said turning her back to Dorothy.

Dorothy smiled and quickly changed out of the nightgown and into her normal dress. She looked at her flats and began to debate whether or not she really needed them. Common sense told her she wasn't leaving this castle anytime soon so she figured she may as well leave them. She yawned and stretched again causing her shoulders to make an audible pop.

"You okay?" Emma asked turning around.

"Just a little sore and stiff from the position I fell asleep in." Dorothy said.

"I'm sorry you fell asleep in an uncomfortable position." Emma said in a sympathetic tone.

"Thanks." Dorothy said stretching again.

"Well, no time to dawdle, Mother will want us in the kitchen to set up for breakfast." Emma said picking up Dorothy and setting her on her shoulder.

"Onward then." Dorothy said.

Emma smiled and walked out of room with Dorothy grasping tightly to her shoulder.

"You know, I've carried the queen of the field mice, and her son on my shoulder, I never really thought I'd end up in the same situation." Dorothy said as they walked into the kitchen.

"Oh, really?" Emma asked curiously.

"yep." Dorothy said as she saw a mess of flour on the kitchen table.

"Wow, I didn't realize we made such a mess." Emma said setting Dorothy down on the table.

"Neither did I before I cleaned up the bowl and the sack of flour." Mrs. Yoop said chuckling.

"Well then, no time to lose let's get cleaning." Dorothy said.

Mrs. Yoop smiled and immediately picked up a rag to begin dusting the table off. Dorothy couldn't help but giggle and she walked over to the large mass of flour and picked up a handful.

"What's so funny my dear?" Mrs. Yoop asked curiously.

"Don't use a dry rag unless you intend on saving this flour, otherwise use a wet rag, it will make things easier." Dorothy said brushing a large portion of flour away with the side of her foot.

"Ah, yes, what a splendid strategy." Mrs. Yoop said walking over the kitchen sink and waving her hand over it.

Dorothy took the handful of flour she had and threw it back onto the table. She then backed away as Mrs. Yoop handed Emma a wet rag and they wiped down the table. After about ten minutes the table was so clean Dorothy could practically see herself on the wood varnish. Dorothy smiled as a large timer went off with a loud ringing noise. Mrs. Yoop chuckled and grabbed a towel and opened the oven. She then pulled out a metal baking sheet with large biscuits on it and placed it on the table.

"So, when will your enemy live up to his deal?" Mrs. Yoop asked curiously.

"I'm more or less hoping he gets torn apart by the crowd of people that will most definitely try to stop him." Dorothy said.

"Look, my husband is not a bad man, he just is very, um, foolish, bumbling, a fool, savage when angry." Mrs. Yoop said taking out a large pot of honey.

"Look if the jester can't do it I'll see what I can do, people like me." Dorothy said.

"Yes we know, little birds that fly by are always mentioning Dorothy gale." Mrs. Yoop said.

Dorothy smiled and sat down on the table. Mrs. Yoop then poured out some Honey on a saucer and placed it down between the three of them. Mrs. Yoop then waved her hand over the biscuits and a few of them turned into biscuits that were just the right size for Dorothy to enjoy. Dorothy smiled and got up. Mrs. Yoop however motioned for her to sit down again. Dorothy obeyed and sat down as Mrs. Yoop served her the biscuits. Dorothy thanked her and dipped one in the honey. Taking a bit she found the biscuits quite delicious.

"These are delicious." Dorothy said.

"Thank you dear." Mrs. Yoop said smiling.

Meanwhile in the emerald city.

Alex woke with a start himself. When he realized he had been put under a dreamless sleep he cursed himself for allowing it to happen. It was then that he had an Idea.

"Hey! I know you're watching! Come here, I have a proposition." Alex shouted into oblivion.

As Alex finished shouting the jester appeared in front of him, smiling wickedly.

"Well? I'm listening." He said chuckling.

"I'm assuming you haven't freed Mr. Yoop yet have you?" Alex asked curiously.

"Yes, wait a minute, why?" The jester asked now curious as well as worried.

"I want to come with you, we'll free him together, but so long as we get him to make a formal apology so both you, and him don't get torn apart by the people." Alex said.

"Alex, for once I agree with you." Glinda said appearing behind the jester.

"Wow you must really be onto something boy." The jester said looking at him.

"I agree with it as well." Locasta said.

"He's is onto something." The jester said aloud.

"I have one condition though, have him take me to Yoop castle." Alex said.

"Deal, I had a feeling this was a way for you to get to Dorothy." He said holding out a hand for Alex to shake.

Alex shook the hand and the jester smiled.

"After you've eaten something, we shall go." He said.

"Fine." Alex said grabbing his sword and strapping he sheath to his belt.

"Well, run to the kitchen and get an apple or something." Locasta said.

Alex nodded ran out of the room leaving Glinda, Locasta and the jester alone.

"Why are you letting him do this?" The jester asked curiously

"Because if we hadn't he would have run off and tried to find the castle himself." Glinda said.

"Do you think that's what he planned to do yesterday?" The jester asked curiously.

"Nosey, but yes, I'm sure of it, I think he would have." Glinda said.

The jester nodded and chuckled. He knew the boy would do anything to be reunited with her to keep her safe.

Meanwhile at the gale farmhouse.

The Mrs. Teak and Annabella showed up at the Gale farmhouse at around half-past six with no warning that they were coming. Em was grateful that she had someone to help her with the kids this early in the morning. Em and henry had been trying to explain what had been going on in Oz.

"So, Dorothy has been abducted as a play mate for a giant?" Mrs. Teak asked trying to comprehend what they were telling her.

"Well she's the playmate of the daughter of the giant." Em said.

"Ah." Mrs. Teak said

"I like the cats." Annabella said as pockets jumped about around her looking for a pocket to climb into.

"That's pockets, she's Dorothy's kitten, actually speaking of the cats, where's eve?" Henry asked curiously.

No sooner had he asked this did Eve come out of Dorothy's room followed by Toto, oddball, Alexa, and patch. The kittens went over to their respective owners and rubbed up against them. Mrs. Teak smiled and sniffed a few times.

"Were you baking Em?" Mrs. Teak asked curiously.

"No, I was making pancakes before you guys arrived." Em said.

"Ah." Mrs. Teak said.

"Right, anyways, how's your husband?" Em asked curiously.

"Probably really, really, really cross with me at the moment." Mrs. Teak said.

"Why?" Em and henry asked in unison.

"Well, the scarecrow's rainbow mover works." Mrs. Teak said trailing off.

"You didn't! How?" Em asked curiously.

"Turns out they were watching." Mrs. Teak said.

"And as it turns out, you're right he is rather upset." Glinda said appearing in the mirror.

"Ah, good morning Glinda." Em said turning to the mirror.

"Your husband can be extremely loud when he's upset." Glinda said glancing at Mrs. Teak.

"yes, well sorry, all I said was, 'why don't you go to Oz and actually talk with your son?' I didn't expect anyone to actually listen let alone have my husband whisked off in rainbow colored light." Mrs. Teak said.

"Yes, well I think the one thing scarecrow didn't know was that Alex isn't here at the moment." Glinda said.

"What? Where is he?" Mrs. Teak asked worriedly.

"Him, the jester, and Locasta are going to free the husband of the giantess whom Dorothy is currently stuck with, your husband knows about this already, but he's using it as proof that Alex hasn't changed." Glinda said rolling her eyes.

"Man, he is obsessed with trying to prove that Alex cannot completely change" Mrs. Teak said.

"Mommy, I've never asked this, but why is he obsessed?" Annabella asked curiously.

"It's a long story dear, I'll tell you about it later." Mrs. Teak said sighing.

"Okay." Annabella said.

"Anyways, I have looked into the case of Mr. Yoop, with the help of father time, he's not a bad man, just misunderstood, and you wouldn't believe the lies people came up with in order to cart him off." Glinda said.

"I see." Mrs. Teak said a bit confused.

"Hey, your son's intentions are good however." Glinda said.

"I can imagine." Mrs. Teak said.

"I just hope he does it right." Glinda said
