Meanwhile in Yoop castle.

Dorothy and Emma had finished their breakfast at around quarter-past seven. After cleaning everything up Dorothy and Emma returned to Emma's bedroom. Neither her, Emma, nor Mrs. Yoop were aware of Alex's plan. None of them were any the wiser of what was going on. Meanwhile Emma was once more sketching Dorothy for her amusement.

"Dorothy?" Emma asked curiously.

"Yes?" Dorothy replied.

"Do you think the jester will keep to his word?" Emma asked.

"I still personally hope he gets torn apart by a crowd of angry citizens trying to stop him." Dorothy said.

"Because he makes you miserable, or because you don't like him?" Emma asked curiously.

"I'm going to have to say both." Dorothy said.

Just as Emma opened her mouth to say something the ground began to tremble. Mrs. Yoop then walked into the room and sat down on Emma's bed.

"Emma what are you doing?" she asked curiously

"I'm sketching Dorothy, this is the third I've made since she got here." Emma said smiling.

Mrs. Yoop got up and walked over to the desk to look at Emma's handiwork. She was impressed by her daughter's drawing skills. Emma handed her the drawing and allowed her to admire it.

"That's a really nice drawing dear." Mrs. Yoop said hugging her daughter.

"Thanks mother, I just wish father were here to see it." Emma said.

Little did any of them know soon he would be?

Meanwhile back in the city.

Things were pretty eventful in the emerald city with Mr. Teak's arrival. He was watching the progress of his son, Locasta and the jester in Glinda's crystal ball until they vanished from its view and went dim. He was now convince Alex still hadn't changed. All the others were trying to convince him otherwise.

"Why would he free a giant that has caused problems? Because he has bad intentions for it." Mr. Teak said.

"Mr. Yoop is just misunderstood, sure he would knock over a house every once and awhile but those were accidents." Glinda said waving her hand over the crystal and it went completely dark.

"But this is proof." Mr. Teak said.

"Proof of what? That he's thinking of other's?" Aislynn asked.

"No!" Mr. Teak said.

"Mr. Teak, explain to me, why don't you believe he can truly change?" Glinda said.

"I have my reasons, I am not entitled to explain it to you." Mr. Teak said

"Fair enough." Glinda said turning around and rolling her eyes.

Mr. Teak sat there in silence. From where he was concerned he had won the argument, or at least that's what he believed. But he had truly lost the argument at this point. Glinda sighed and closed her eyes. She had to try not to lose her temper with this man. She hadn't completely lost her temper in years.

"Sis?" Ellie asked walking into the room.

"Yes Ellie?" Glinda asked about ready to walk out.

"You seem stressed, would you like some tea?" Ellie asked curiously.

"Not really sis, I'm just trying not to lose my temper." Glinda said.

"Have fun with that." Ellie said walking over to Aislynn.

"Thanks." Glinda said sarcastically as she walked out.

"Alex must have malicious intent in order to help a giant." Mr. Teak said under his breath,

"Beg pardon?" Ellie asked.

"Oh, nothing." Mr. Teak said chuckling.

Ellie sighed and took aislynn's hand. She smiled and winked knowing ace's little secret.

Meanwhile back at Yoop castle.

Emma had decided to take a little after breakfast nap. Mrs. Yoop had taken Dorothy into the living room of the castle and set Dorothy down on a little glass top table where she was keeping a book and a large pair of spectacles. In front of them was a gigantic fireplace that had a large stack of wood stacked on a holder. It was a bit dusty but it looked as if the wood was relatively new.

"I remember the old days, my husband would come home after his evening walk and the hearth would magically light up with flames, he'd take Emma on his knee and read her a tale from that book on the mantle." Mrs. Yoop said sighing.

"He sounds like a sweet man." Dorothy said

"He was, as well as a bit of a bumbling fool who sometimes had a short temper." Mrs. Yoop said as a tear rolled down her face.

Dorothy said nothing, she merely sat down on the table with her legs tucked under her dress. Mrs. Yoop sighed and picked up a giant patchwork quilt and began sewing it. As she sewed she occasionally shot glances at Dorothy. Dorothy noticed this but decided not to question it for fear of making her angry. She then though about her friends, Alex, Ellie, and Aislynn. She wished she could see them, but she knew it wasn't likely. Mrs. Yoop then looked up suddenly in surprise.

"Is something wrong?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"Listen, feel the ground." Mrs. Yoop said.

Dorothy did, she didn't hear anything, but she did feel the ground trembling a bit.

"Perhaps Emma is awake?" Dorothy suggested.

"No, she always takes a nap during the day she won't be up till noon." Mrs. Yoop said.

Dorothy opened her mouth to say something, but before she could the fireplace burst to life with warm, and rather bright flames. Immediately Dorothy heard loud and cheerful humming. Which turned into singing.

"Ra la la la, Ra la la la, light the fire your husband's here." Came a loud, deep booming voice in song.

Mrs. Yoop gasped and dropped the quilt and sewing supplies. She looked at Dorothy and suddenly got up and turned around. Immediately a draft blew through the castle as they heard the door slam open.

"Ra la la la, Ra la la la, full of luck and full of cheer." Came the booming voice again.

Immediately the ground began to tremble greatly. Within a minute a giant tried to walk into the room but whacked his head on the door frame of the room. Dorothy couldn't help but snicker. The giant man was wearing a tattered purple jacket and a pair of blue pants. He wore a set of boots on his feet reminiscent of the ones her uncle wore. Mrs. Yoop gasped as the man ducked in, he needed shave that was obvious but he looked kind, not like the giants Dorothy read about in story books.

"My sweet husband." Mrs. Yoop said, her eyes filled with tears of joy.

"My darling wife." Mr. Yoop said walking over to her.

"My sick stomach." The jester said as Dorothy finally noticed him on Mr. Yoop's shoulder.

Mr. and Mrs. Yoop embraced tightly and kissed. It was then that Dorothy noticed another figure standing on Mr. Yoop's shoulder. She took out her reading glasses and put them on. She squinted and realized it was Alex. The jester noticed her doing this and chuckled. He took out his wand and grabbed Alex by the shoulder. He flicked the wand and immediately they both appeared next to Dorothy. Dorothy gasped and pulled Alex into her embrace. This went on for several minutes before Dorothy pushed Alex away.

"What are you doing here?" Dorothy asked.

"Locasta and I helped him free Mr. Yoop." Alex said.

"Locasta? Is she here?" Dorothy asked.

"Yes, she's on Mr. Yoop's other shoulder." The jester said.

"Alex, look at me for a second." Dorothy said turning to him.

Alex turned to her and immediately got a sharp slap across the face.

"Ay, what was that for!?" he asked rubbing his cheek.

"You could have gotten yourself killed." Dorothy said now regretting what she just did.

Alex sighed and hugged Dorothy tightly. He hadn't really thought that far ahead in terms of explaining this to Dorothy. It was then that Locasta appeared next to the.

"Thank you, both of you, for working your way right into my trap!" The jester said laughing wickedly.

"What trap, we had a deal!" Alex said.

"Never trust a villain." He said cackling.

Dorothy now had to hold Alex back before he did something he would regret. Locasta tried to throw a spell at him but found that now she could not. The jester laughed wickedly and vanished as they all turned to hear the door to the castle shut. Mr. Yoop's eyes then fell on Dorothy.

"Hello, who's this?" Mr. Yoop asked curiously.

"H-hello, I'm Dorothy gale, as of yesterday, I am your daughter's playmate, and I guess now she has two more, my boyfriend and Glinda's cousin." Dorothy said.

"The Dorothy gale!?" Mr. Yoop asked.

"Mother why is there so much yelling!?" Came Emma's tired voice.

"Yes, the Dorothy gale." Dorothy said curtseying.

"Oh sweet Oz, what have I done!?" Mr. Yoop shouted as the floor began to tremble.

Dorothy sighed and held onto to Alex. Emma then walked into the room rubbing her eyes. Her eyes fell on her father. It took her a second or two to register what was going on before she squealed in delight and ran over to her father.

"Father, you're home!" Emma said embracing him.

"Yes, yes my dear daughter, I am home, and here to stay." He said he said embracing his daughter tightly.
