I arrived at the statue to the Headmasters office without must fuss, excect Nearly Headless Nick bugging me about how pale I look and how I put most of the ghosts to shame with how pale I am. I brushed it off spoke "Lemon Sherbet" to the statue. The stone steps groaned to life as the statues magic took hold. I quickly made my way to Dumbledore's door as he opened it.
"Ms. Granger, I have been expecting you. I went to the trouble to to have some breakfast brought up for you since I knew you wouldn't stay and eat with . Come this way." He said turning and walking though his office into a large room.
There were cauldrons and tubes everywhere. The room looked lie a mad scientist laboratory to be honest. Int he corner there was a table with plates of food on it and jugs of fresh juices and water. It appeared the headmaster expected me to be staying for some time. There even was a small bed in the other corner if one was to get tired.
"Thank you headmaster, I should be able to get my project done in peace here." I say with a smile
"There is one more thing Miss Granger, I wish for you to analyze the blood samples and compare them to each other, not just to those of the same species. I want to know what makes them different from each other and what makes the similar. But please let us be the only ones who see this research, your teacher doesn't need to know of this side assignment. That is all." He said and left the room.
I just shook off the strange feeling about this new assignment and went to work. I had brought a microscope and laptop with me to be able to analyze the closer. I did like to use muggle methods, since they were nice to use. I set out my tools and grabbed a quick plate of food and ate. Then dove head first into my assignment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Several hours later, Late in the night~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The results were done... How could they be correct? I had gone over them sixteen times and they always came back the same. Harry and I were siblings, not siblings, twins.. Our genes were exact down to the last vampiric DNA stand. But I had no signs of being a vampire. it didn't make sense. I had even redrawn my blood, and still the same. I sighed and finished up my report. I let Dumbledore know I left the paper he asked for on the table in the corner and he smiled as I left. My results were puzzling to say the least.
RESULTS:
Ron - Weasley - Pureblood - Hunter Blood - Mostly similar to Ginny's blood but also compatible with Pansy.
Hermione had a lot to wrap her mind around and Dumbledore would have some explaining to do. But right now all I wanted was some sleep. It had been a long day of work and I deserve a good rest. I met no one in the halls or the dorm as I went to bed. I charmed my door and passed out cold.
