Please, Please, Please don't kill me, I know I haven't updated in ages, but school keeps one busy. Very busy. But, I'm here with a regrettably short chapter, but, I will be updating soon. I promise. But, in the meantime, I have very exciting Divergent news. First of all I SAW THE MOVIE ON MARCH 4TH! It was amazing and even though you will all see it today of tomorrow or soon, just know that you will be very happy with it. I certainly was and I'm not often satisfied with adaptations. Second, I met Veronica Roth. Yes! It was (literally) a dream of mine to meet her and she came to a book signing in Chicago that I went to and I actually got to talk to her. It was absolutely amazing. I also met Ben Lloyd-Hughes who was also quite cool. He was worried about how fans will receive him, and I said something like, "You're amazing!" How eloquent, I know. I don't remember half of what I said when I met them, I was so starstruck it was embarrassing. My friend had to prep Veronica Roth before I met her. It was overwhelming and I would love to have that experience again. If anyone wants to talk to me more abut those two things, I'd be more than thrilled. But anyway, on with the short chapter. Disclaimer: If I owned Divergent, I wouldn't be freaking out over the person who actually does. (I don't know why the bold isn't working...) - I go to try and find my friends, wanting to ask them about their own test. I rather liked mine, to be honest. It made me feel smarter and more powerful than everyone else around me. Nothing could stop me. I'm thinking that they're going to be in the dorms, so I head there first. And sure enough, there they are. Christina, Four and Will all sit on the beds, but Uriah, Zeke, Lynn and Marlene have also joined them. They're talking as I walk into the room and only briefly look up to see who it is. "Hey guys." I say, coming to sit down on the same bed as Christina. I would sit next to Tobias, if I were that type of girl. The girl who isn't able to function without their other half. But, I'm not that girl and I want to prove it. A chorus of, "heys" come from everyone. "So, what're you guys talking about?" "Just the most amazing thing ever." Uriah answers. "And that would be?" "The fact that Dauntless has this whole underground arena that I've never seen and I've lived here forever." "Ah, that thing." "Yeah. How'd you do on yours?" Christina asks. "Pretty well, I think, or hope. You guys?" Shrugs and nods and "pretty wells" come from everyone. Only one response stands out. "I did amazing I'm sure, like I always do." Zeke says this and in response, he gets a little shove from Uriah. "Sure you did." Uriah says. We all laugh in response, through it all the brothers have continued to stay close. They represent all of our relationships and friendships. Our life continues to go on even during all of these tests and trials. And this realization inspires me to make a decision. "Let's do something fun tonight." "And what sort of idea do you have?" Marlene asks. "Let's…" I try to come up with something fun to do on the spot. I hadn't really thought this out, but I don't want to embarrass myself by not having an idea. "Let's- - And I'm the one who's embarrassed with no ideas. This was not meant to be a cliff-hanger, I just don't have many ideas or inspiration right now. So, I'm opening it up to you guys. What do you want them to do? Whoever responds with an idea I like, I will use! Thank you! Please, I need ideas!
