As the school day came to an end Alex, Ellie, Donna and Aislynn left the school together and started for the hospital. As they walked along they were occasionally pelted with snowballs by some of Alex's old cronies. Whenever a barrage of snowballs started hitting them Alex would return fire even faster and the snowballs would stop. By the time they had gotten halfway way to the hospital Officer grey showed up and pulled over allowing them into his truck. As they got in they brushed themselves off and went on their way.

"You really need to find a way to control those guys, I got three calls from the shop owners telling me you guys were being pelted with snow balls." Officer grey said looking back at them.

"How do you expect me to do that? I don't lead them anymore, I'm not sure who their leader is anymore." Alex said as snowballs began pelting the truck.

"Man they are getting really annoying." Donna said looking at the boys out the window.

"If Dorothy were here they'd be running the other way." Aislynn said as Ellie nodded in agreement.

"Yes, well she's in the hospital which is where we are going, they attack you so long as you are open targets without her." Officer grey said as they pulled up to the hospital.

"Right, anyways, would you like to come with us?" Alex asked curiously.

"Thanks but I can't, I'm still on duty." Officer grey replied.

"Well, we'll talk to you later then." Alex said as they all got out of the truck.

Alex quickly ran into the hospital and greeted the receptionist in his usual fast way. He then quickly ran to the room that Dorothy was in. when he got there he found Elena sitting in a chair by the bed having fallen asleep out of boredom. Dorothy was still asleep with Toto and Pockets napping on her lap. Alex chuckled and walked over to her. He leaned over and pressed his lips against hers. Immediately he felt her good arm wrap around him. He immediately broke from the kiss and helped her into a sitting position. Ellie, Aislynn, and Donna came in shortly afterwards. Toto barked and jumped off the bed running over to Ellie and Ace. Pockets stood up and stretched.

"Alex, I'm glad you're here, I have to leave soon, Glinda only wanted me here for yesterday, she and Emma showed up earlier, as well as the jester." Elena said.

"Luckily it's Friday then." Alex said smiling.

"Actually that might not even be necessary." Came Glinda's voice as she and Alison appeared in the room.

"Alison?" Ellie asked curiously

"Ah, I hear talking, hello, who are you?" Doctor Maxwell asked looking at Alison.

"I'm Alison, I'm Ellie's and Elena's comrade, I'm here to perform an examination on Dorothy to see if she's fit enough to leave in the morning." Alison said.

"Actually that's what I was coming to do." Doctor Maxwell said.

"Yes well, I'm going to be more accurate with it." Alison said.

"Don't I get a say in this?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"No." Alison said turning to her.

Dorothy opened her mouth to respond but Alex cupped his hand over her mouth. Alison then walked over to the foot of the bed and picked up pockets. Allowing the kitten to climb inside her pocket she smiled and held a hand over Dorothy. Immediately Dorothy felt a surge of energy rush through her. Her vision clouded for a moment and then cleared after a few seconds. Alison then smiled and walked over to Dorothy and placed a hand on her forehead.

"She should be alright to leave in the morning, Glinda, why don't you go to the farmhouse grab the wheelchair from the storm cellar." Alison suggested.

Glinda nodded and waved her wand. Immediately she vanished and left them alone. Doctor Maxwell immediately went pale and walked out of the room without saying a word.

"Alison, answer me this, why am I so hungry and why am I getting my cat like traits again?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"Well that magical energy that the orb released has messed with your body, you'll pretty much be able to eat a large amount of food and it will have no effect on your body, and as for the cat thing, well my theory is that since the last really magic related thing that happened to you was becoming a cat." Alison said.

"Oh, that's, um, nice, I guess." Dorothy said as Donna and Aislynn walked over.

"Kelly wanted me to give you this." Donna said handing Dorothy the card.

"Tell her I say thanks, I'll be glad to be home by tomorrow morning." Dorothy said.

"We'll be glad for you to be home." Came Glinda's voice as she appeared with the wheelchair and auntie Em by her side.

Em walked over to her niece and wrapped her arms around her gently.

"Auntie Em." Dorothy said hugging her aunt tightly with her good arm.

"Dorothy, do you think you have enough strength to try and hobble over to the wheelchair?" Glinda asked curiously.

"She should be able to with a bit of assistance." Alison said in unison with Doctor Maxwell as he walked back in carrying a cardboard box with Dorothy's things in it.

Alex immediately placed an arm under Dorothy's back. He helped her get her bearings enough for her to hobble over to the wheelchair. As soon as she was in it she began to fidget around for a comfortable position.

"Gosh I really hate these cat like instincts sometimes, now I have to be in a comfy position." Dorothy said finally finding a more comfortable position to sit in.

Alex chuckled and gave Dorothy a quick peck on the lips. Dorothy giggled and blushed. She then signaled for Alex to push the chair around since she couldn't very well do it properly with only one arm. Alex smiled and pushed the chair over to the window. She noticed a large mass of dark clouds rolling over the town, another storm was coming and this time she could feel it. Her body tensed up when she thought about there being another snow storm. She would be glad when she was finally home tomorrow.

"I wonder if scarecrow could invent something that could help you control this wheelchair with one hand?" Aislynn asked curiously.

"I'm sure he can, as long as it's not bike pedals since I only have one working left at the moment as well." Dorothy replied.

"Glinda what are you doing?" Came Alison's voice.

Everyone turned to Glinda and saw that she now had a notepad and was scribbling notes on it.

"I'm taking notes on what we need the scarecrow to make, I've got, can be controlled by someone with only one functioning arm, no bike pedals since Dorothy only has one functional leg at the moment, and that it has to still be able to move." Glinda said.

"Well, it's a start, but I just thought of something." Dorothy said.

"And what's that?" Everyone asked in unison.

"every time I get transported to Oz I nearly fall forward and get injured on arrival, this time I don't have the scepter for support and as previously mentioned I only have one arm and leg that actually can be used as they are supposed to, how am I supposed to get back and forth without getting more injured?" Dorothy asked curiously.

Glinda looked at her for a moment and didn't respond, she merely scribbled something else on the notepad before pocketing it.

"We'll think of something." Alison said.

Dorothy sighed and nodded. She then had Alex push her back over to the bed. As soon as she was back in the bed she sighed and had Doctor Maxwell put the cardboard box on the bedside table and then purred slightly. Her body tensed up a bit because she thought about the dark clouds. She closed her eyes and sighed. She couldn't wait for tomorrow.
