Chloe McQueen: Spy Car Chapter 10
"We know you're in here!" Acer shouted.
Chloe was hiding behind several boxes, tightly gripping the remote.
Suddenly she noticed a red dot circling above her.
"She's over here!" Patricia called.
Chloe decided to take off her stealth disguise and use her wings to fly out from behind the boxes just before Grem and Acer could charge into her. She fired her taser at Acer, instantly knocking him out cold.
"Nice try, but you're still not getting away." Patricia shot a giant bola rope out to Chloe, who barely dodged it. Unfortunately it slammed into her right wing, making her lose her balance and slam into the floor!
"You'll have to try harder than that!" Grem laughed.
Chloe just stayed still.
Grem went over to pick her up, only to be met with one heck of a punch!
"Man I've been waiting to do that." Chloe said.
Grem got up and rammed into her, but Chloe kicked him, sending him flying into the boxes.
Patricia growled and jumped on Chloe, who drove backwards and slammed her against the wall.
"No one hurts my girlfriend!" Grem shouted and pinned Chloe to the ground, who kicked him in the...um... nether regions.
"You think that's really going to stop me?" Grem said, then he passed out.
Chloe pushed him off her and drove to where the Professor had the others.
"Hold it!" Acer said, who was now fully recovered and pointing a gun at her.
"You'd think they would make these tasers a little more effective." Chloe groaned.
"That will be the least of your worries my dear." Zundapp said as he exited the shadows.
Just then something blue dropped from the air vent, landing on Acer.
"Oh, come on!" Acer groaned before passing out again.
"You didn't expect me to stay all tied up back there did you Professor?" Rod said.
"Well, I was hoping you would." Prof. Z groaned.
Just then Grem and Patricia woke up.
"Ready for this Chloe?" Rod said.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
Grem and Acer tried to ram into Rod at the same time, but this time Rod was ready. He smashed their hoods, flipped over them, then spin-kicked them.
Patricia thrashed wildly at Chloe, but she blocked every one of her punches. Then she used her grappling hook to tie her up and stick her to the wall.
The two partners then looked at Zundapp, who was slowly backing away.
"You can never find good help these days." Zundapp said.
He made a break for it, but Rod blocked his path and knocked him out cold (but just before that, he pressed a button on his tire).
"Man, that feels good." Rod said.
Suddenly, they both heard a loud ticking. They both knew what it was, and they raced away.
The explosion started in the bathroom where Zundapp had placed the bomb in case he was captured. Chloe and Rod grabbed Lighting, Mater, Finn, and Holley, as well as the lemons, and they drove out of there just before the fire could engulf the entire building.
After a few minutes the backup that Chief Router promised arrived and they arrested the lemons.
"I'd say mission accomplished Chloe." Rod said.
Chloe laughed, but then turned to Lightning, who just stood there in shock.
"It runs in the family." Chloe said. "He'll snap out of it in a minute, then I'll talk to him."
