A fast update. This chapter took no time at all to complete.

Here's another Green & Blue segment. Having each consecutive chapter featuring a different segment is… incredibly annoying. I believe that's the issue with SL. It goes all over the place. So, to fix that, the same segment will occur for two consecutive chapters before moving on. Like the earlier days of SL.

And by the way, Age Relations got updated. It won't be used in SL, but check it out anyways.

Segment: Green & Blue.

Chapter 19: Friendly No More

April 22, One Island, 3 pm…

Blue watched her house come closer and closer relatively as her Wigglytuff floated towards it. She didn't want to be here. She didn't want to hear her parents yell at her. And she definitely didn't want to do what she planned to do here. But… it was inevitable. Her parents would yell at her for ignoring them, and for what she said. They would certainly try to restrict her movements and behaviors, as if she was some kid.

After today, they would be doing no such things.

Blue opened the door to her house and immediately spotted her parents, looking more infuriated than ever. Well, too bad. She was in no mood to deal with them. She met their glares with one of her own and soon went up to her room. Her parents tried to stop her, but she pushed through them. Upon arriving at her room, she got her Ditto to turn into a huge box and began to put all of her stuff in it.

"And what do you think you're doing?!" her father yelled from behind.

Blue ignored him. She just continued to pack until there was nothing left to take. Now, since there was no way she would be able to carry that Ditto-box, she sent out her Granbull to carry it for her. She proceeded to leave the room, but her parents stepped in the doorway to block her.

"Get out of my way," Blue growled out.

"You are not taking a foot outside this room until you tell me what you're doing!" her mother yelled.

Blue smirked. "You want a younger me. Isn't that right? You want the girl you lost when she got kidnapped by Ho-oh all those years ago. Well guess what? That girl's dead. She died a day after the kidnapping. And I'm the one that's left. And you don't like it. Too bad. Maybe you should've stopped the kidnapping? And maybe you should've looked for me and saved me!" She let out a sigh as she prepared herself for what she was going to say. "… Mom, dad, listen. I changed a lot since the kidnapping. If you can just… accept that and stop treating me like a 5 year old, I'll unpack my stuff and forget this ever happened. If you can't, I'll show you exactly what I was like when I was 7."

Her parents looked at each other as they began silently discussing. Blue held her breath. She sincerely hoped that her parents would just accept her. It wasn't that much to ask for. And damn it, she didn't want to do what she was going to do if her parents didn't accept her.

"Unpack your things," her father said eventually. Blue let out a sigh of relief, but… "You're grounded for a month. And that's an order."

Damn it. Blue simply blinked. She thought she'd be sadder, but apparently not. If anything, she felt… a bit of relief. Relief coming from knowing that she could now throw away all hope without having to look back. She smirked and let out a laugh. Her eyes narrowed as her determination solidified.

"So be it," she said coldly. She sent out her Nidoqueen. "Push them out of the way," she ordered. The Nidoqueen simply looked at her, wondering if she meant what it thought she meant. "Now!"

The Nidoqueen reluctantly complied and gently pushed Blue's parents out of the doorway. Blue got her Granbull to go through the opening first. Once it was completely through, she slowly walked out of her room. She didn't even look at her parents as she headed towards the staircase.

Her father grabbed onto her hand. "What are you doing?!"

"Let go," Blue said coldly without looking at him. Her father didn't listen and still held on. "Nidory, Double Kick," Blue ordered again.

Her father let her go before he got kicked. Blue pulled her arm away from him and continued down the stairs. It seemed that her mother had already blocked the front door, however.

"You are not going anywhere!"

Blue stood in front of her mother and glared at her. "Get out of the way."

"You are going to march back up to your room, unpack your things, and apologize to us for how you've been behaving, young lady! And I am ordering you, as your mother!"

Blue laughed. "You still think I give a rat's ass about what you say? In case you haven't realized, I spent 12 years of my life without you. I don't need you. I never did. I only stayed here because I thought it'd be nice to live with a family. Not anymore. You think you can stop me? How pathetic."

Her mother suddenly hit her across the face. "How dare you!"

Blue smirked again. She took a few steps backwards and set out her Blastoise. "Hydro Cannon," she ordered. "I'd get the hell out of the way, if I were you," she said to her mother.

Her mother stood her ground, thinking that Blue was bluffing. The Blastoise hesitated, but charged up Hydro Cannon after repeated orders from its trainer. It charged for a while, waiting until Blue's mother got out of the way. She didn't. The Blastoise closed its eyes and used Hydro Cannon. Blue's mother only got out of the way when the attack was launched, only then realizing that her daughter was not bluffing. The Hydro Cannon missed her, and instead, smashed a huge hole in the front of the house.

Blue returned her Blastoise and Nidoqueen and walked through the hole. "I told you. I warned you twice." Just as she left the room, she let out a sigh. "… This didn't have to happen. All I wanted was to be accepted by my parents. I changed a lot since the kidnapping, and there is no way anyone can undo those changes. If you really want a 5 year old girl to take care of, go adopt some kid from an orphanage."

Blue took a few more steps away from her former house and sent out her Wigglytuff. Her Granbull put the Ditto-box on top of it and made sure it wouldn't fall off immediately. Blue thanked the Granbull and returned it. Without a second glance back, she hopped onto her Wigglytuff and held onto the Ditto-box (which had morphed shape to make it easier to hold and not fall off) as the Wigglytuff slowly lifted off. The Wigglytuff slowly headed south. From on top, Blue took out a small ball and threw it at her parents' feet. The ball exploded into a thick cloud of smoke, preventing them from seeing anything.

It wasn't a Smoke Ball. She forgot to ask Silver for more. Instead, she made her own. Home-made smoke grenade. Designed to be harmless, unlike the home-made gas grenades consisting of a mix of Stun Spore and Sleep Powder.

Once her parents were invisible in the thick harmless smoke, Blue got her Wigglytuff to change direction. She headed towards Ecruteak City. She hated that place, but it was quiet. And no one would suspect her of going anywhere near that place. She had her own secret base in the outskirts of the city, which she made in case she needed it someday. She would live there from now on. Besides, being so close to the damned Tin Tower made her remember her dark days. Since she was going to accept her dark side, remembering those days would be… helpful.

Ecruteak City, 6 pm…

Blue arrived at her secret base and got her Granbull to move the Ditto-box inside. She then checked her Pokégear. After blocking and deleting her parents' numbers, she checked for other messages.

It seemed that Crystal had sent her a series of apology notes. Too late for those. Blue deleted those messages without looking at them. There was a different note from Crystal, though. It seemed that she decided to set the first Dex Holder gathering for tomorrow. That's fine. There was a certain… plan that needed to be carried out during that gathering.

Blue sent Red a message. Since it was a bit too late now, she'd meet Red in private after the Dex Holder gathering.

Once that was finished, Blue proceeded to move all of her stuff around the secret base. In a couple of hours, she finished making her secret base look more like a house. Now all she had to do was reinforce the entrance with wood and stuff so the cold breeze wouldn't come in during the night.

Later that night, Blue stood outside her secret base with a lit cigarette in her hand. She let out a deep sigh. She needed to reorganize her thoughts. What she planned to do was… remorseless. And very, very cruel. She didn't actually want to go through with it because she knew there was nothing to gain from it in the long run. Sure, she was miserable and nothing would change that, but that didn't mean she had to make others miserable. But on the other hand, she wanted to see the others suffer like her. And it was… logical, in a way.

She had two choices in front of her. One, she could just ignore all of her problems and leave everyone else alone. Two, she could screw over everyone else. She already tried ignoring all of her problems. Leaving everyone alone wouldn't really change anything. She would not gain anything, ever. But if she screwed over everyone else and watched them suffer like her, she could at least gain some entertainment. And she would even forget her own troubles at the same time. For a while. Still, better than nothing.

Blue took another drag from her cigarette and threw it to the ground. She ground it into the dirt and exhaled out the smoke. Her decision had been set. She would screw over everyone else, like she previously decided. The hell with remorse. If anyone called her out for being so heartless, she'd give them the finger.

Next day, April 23, Pallet Town, 10 am…

Blue entered Prof. Oak's lab and soon spotted most of the other Dex Holders. Red and Yellow waved at her with a smile. Blue nodded at them. Green looked over at her but didn't do or say anything. The girl didn't acknowledge him entirely. Silver nodded at her and she waved at him. He then immediately cast a quick glare over at Crystal. So it seemed that Silver got the recorded call she sent him. Blue smirked as she sat down. Crystal bowed apologetically to her senior, but Blue ignored her.

The moment she sat down, Silver sent her a series of signals, asking if he should deal with Crystal. Blue smiled but lightly shook her head. Not yet. And besides, she'd take care of her personally. Crystal tried to say something, but Blue shifted her focus at her fingernails and ignored her, forcing the Johto girl to hold her tongue.

Several minutes later, Gold arrived and took his seat beside Crystal. "Sorry I'm late," he said. "Alarm clock broke."

Crystal ignored him and started the meeting. "I think it's wonderful that we all gathered here. It's not right to think that we can only see each other during crises. So starting from today, I think we should meet together like this once a week."

"Sure," Red said. "Good idea, … uh… Crys."

"It's especially important that we meet up regularly so we can learn to cooperate better and not forget each others' names," Crystal said with a slight glance at Red. "And we could use this time to discuss some problems we're facing and brainstorm possible solutions."

"Such as?" Yellow asked.

"… Those groups of fan girls," Crystal said with a sigh. "We're all affected by them. For the guys, these girls chase you everywhere. For the girls, we're targeted by them because of their petty jealousy. So… I think we really need to do something about them. Any suggestions?"

Yellow glanced at the other Dex Holders and shrugged. "I haven't seen any of them, so… I don't know."

"Are they really that much of a problem?" Gold asked. "I don't know about you, but I'm fine with them. They'll do anything I ask them to do." He suddenly winced as if Crystal kicked him from under the table.

Some of the Dex Holders focused on Blue. Blue looked up from her fingernails. "What? The hell are you all looking at me for?"

"You're always full of ideas. Do you have a suggestion?" Crystal asked, looking rather surprised from her senior's attitude.

Blue shrugged. "Should I? They don't bother me." She looked at Crystal with slightly narrowed eyes and her tone suddenly turned icy cold. "Besides, I believe these fan girls are your problem."

Crystal flinched and her expression darkened. "… Right… I… um…"

Blue glanced at Yellow before focusing on Crystal once more. "Are these fan girls really targeting you, Crys? Or are you targeting them?"

Crystal's eyes opened wide in shock. "Wh – What?"

Blue grinned. It was… fun to watch Crystal get flustered. "You said these fan girls are targeting the girls out of jealousy. But Yellow said that she never saw them, which means she wasn't targeted. And they haven't bothered me at all, which means I'm not targeted either. Which means, you're the only one targeted by those fan girls. Now, I understand that Gold went out on a date with one of the fan girls yesterday. It sure seems to me that you're targeting them out of jealousy. Jealousy from knowing that Gold would never go out with you." Blue glanced at Green before saying her last remark. "Next thing you'll do is tell us that we should devise some plan to keep those fan girls away from everyone at all times so that you can have Gold all by yourself. Shame on you, Crys. Being jealous of some random strangers? I thought you were better than that."

"Wh – What… I… N – No, I…" Crystal stammered as her face turned red from severe embarrassment and humiliation.

Gold started to laugh. "Good one, senior Blue," he said. "As if Super Serious Gal would like me like that. That'd be hilarious." He glanced at Crystal and noticed that she had buried her face into her hands out of embarrassment. This was no joke. "… Seriously? You're not joking?"

Blue watched Crystal with a grin. This… was becoming much more entertaining than she could've imagined. Good thing she had a tiny invisible video camera installed on her hat so she could record all this.

Gold laughed some more. "Wow, Crys! I never thought that you'd like me! It explains so much!" He patted her on the back. "Why didn't you say so earlier? I would've treated you much better." Crystal didn't respond, so Gold quickly dropped his smile. "… You okay, Crys?"

Crystal quickly sat up. She kept her face buried in her hands and she trembled as if she was going to cry anytime soon. "I – I… should go now… I…"

Blue stifled the urge to burst into laughter as she watched Crystal quickly run out of the lab. She thought of the list of things she was going to do to screw over everyone. 'Embarrass Crys in front of the other Dex Holders, check. This is turning out to be a great idea, after all.'

Gold rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh… uh… Damn. Well, I'm screwed." He looked over at Silver and shook his hand. "It's been nice knowing you."

The other Dex Holders ignored the goggled boy and focused on Blue, each with an expression of surprise and even disappointment.

"Blue, I'm surprised at you," Green said as he slowly shook his head.

"Are you, Green?" Blue asked back. "I don't think you're surprised. Not at all. I think you expected me to act like this. What wouldn't a pesky girl like myself do for fun?" With another smirk, Blue rose to her feet. "Oh, Red, Yellow, I need to talk with the two of you, alone, outside."

Red and Yellow glanced at each other before they shrugged and headed outside. Blue watched them leave with a cold smile on her lips.

"Blue, what's wrong with you?" Green asked.

"Oh, nothing's wrong," Blue said with an exaggerated tone. "I'm just being myself! I never change, remember? I'm just some pesky girl who does anything and everything for fun, remember? What was it you said to me? I'm exactly like those fan girls who chase you all day, every day, attacking those who get in the way?" Her expression suddenly turned ice cold with anger. "Well, here's my response to you," she said as she raised her middle finger at him.

"… Sis?" Silver muttered in surprise.

Blue nodded at him and left the lab, leaving the three remaining Dex Holders in shock. Green watched her leave and slowly shook his head.

"Damn it. Meeting's over," he said to the two Johto Dex Holders. "Go home."

"Oh, come on!" Gold complained. "I just got here! And Crys just went home too! If I go back to Johto, she'd kill me!"

"Now."

Outside, Blue approached Red and Yellow, who were talking about what just happened. When they saw her coming, they stopped talking and approached her as well.

"So, Red, Yellow," Blue started. "Are you surprised to see me like this?"

"… Yes," Red answered. "I didn't think you'd be so cold to Crys like that."

"And?"

Red shrugged. "Well, I'd ask what was wrong, but I think it's between you and Crys. I shouldn't get involved."

"Good." Blue took a deep breath as she prepared to move on to her next plan. "Now, Red, Yellow, the reason why I wanted to talk to you…"

"You said you wanted to talk to me yesterday, but you said you were busy," Red said. "So… what's up?"

"Red, I told you that Yellow likes you, right?" Blue asked.

Yellow jumped in surprise and felt her cheeks warming. Red glanced at her and nodded. Yellow felt her heart starting to sink as she realized that her crush wasn't showing any reaction to the revelation.

"And… who do you like?"

Yellow held her breath and focused on Red. The Kanto champion smiled and…

"You, Blue."

"Right. And you even kissed me two days ago when you told me," Blue said as she amusedly watched the devastated look on Yellow. "Red, that kiss was my first kiss. And I can only imagine that it's your first as well. So, Red, here's my response." Blue smiled at him and took a deep breath. Though she looked into Red's warm red eyes, she focused on Yellow's expression in the periphery of her vision. "I love you too, Red. Thank you."

Without warning, Blue wrapped her arms around Red and kissed him deeply. While doing so, she opened her eyes and looked over at Yellow with a grin, just enjoying the look of utter devastation and heartbreak in the girl's eyes. Blue even tilted her head so that the camera on her hat would capture Yellow's expression.

After the kiss, Red smiled warmly and embraced Blue. Blue kept her arms around him and focused on Yellow. She even bared her teeth as she gave the blonde a sinister grin. Yellow started to tremble and shook her head at the sudden betrayal.

Blue enjoyed the look of devastation. It pleased her and entertained her. Though she had her doubts at first at whether she'd be able to pull this off, she no longer had any doubts. The friendly and cheerful Blue was now dead, replaced by the cold, sinister, and devious Blue from the time of Mask of Ice. Blue became happier and happier as she kept her eyes on Yellow until the blonde could no longer take it and ran away.

'That's right, Yellow. You had your chance for 10 years and now you lost it. Red is mine until I no longer need him. This plan is going so well… "Accept" Red's love and kiss him in front of Yellow, check. Next up… Break apart the bond between Gold and Crys.'

Here's the prologue for that popcorn scene I promised. Coming up relatively soon! … Not time-wise though. Because this was a fast SL update, I now have no qualms about abandoning it for a while and focus on ending SA and SY.

And… why not. Vote for the next segment.
