Chapter 6- Better Start Running

Elsa was hit with shock as he asked that question, he stood there in the windowsill patiently waiting for his answer, but that shock soon turned to anger.

"Hmm, I don't know Jack, let's see, I was about 17, unable to go to college cause I was carrying YOUR child, YOU drove me away, so I had to take care of myself, being a burden on my sister"

She began aggressively yelling now "THEN MY son was born, fatherless and with a poor excuse of a mother who can't just be patient and get married first to have kids. NO, even worse my boy grows up and he has to get his OWN job, so he can buy his OWN food, because his horrible mother can't get a good enough job to raise him in a childhood HE deserves! Oh you wanna know what next? His even worse father, comes back and says 'he's sorry' when all the struggles are done he says that 'he's sorry"

Jack was no looking down, not bothering to look at Elsa's face, and she could tell he was starting to feel bad already, but she wasn't done "So what do you think, Jack? Would you still love you?" She shouted, not even caring if Brandon heard.

He was still looking down, but she heard him mumble "No" Elsa could tell she made him feel really bad, and she was happy with that, cause that was EXACTLY how she felt, she felt horrible because she couldn't give her only son what he had deserved.

Brandon couldn't help but feel angry at what Flint had showed him. He just kept finding out bad stuff about this asshole Jack Frost his supposedly father, and when he heard his mother downstairs, who was screaming at someone he got up from his bed and went downstairs, curious as to who it was.

"No"

He heard someone mumble, no it couldn't be who he thought it was. He walked into the kitchen and saw the little bastard sitting on the windowsill, his mother who looked furious at him.

They hadn't yet noticed him until he very angrily said "You" Jack looked up and saw the boy his eyes growing huge "Oh crap" he jumped out the window. Elsa looked behind her and saw Brandon behind her, running towards the window "What are you-"

he jumped out the window.

"I'm going to frickin kill you!" Brandon screamed as he began chasing Jack down the street-light lit street, full speed. He ran down the street yelling after him "YOU BASTARD, YOU DATED MY BEST FRIEND'S MOM!" he chased him all the way to a little river which Jack jumped over, right after Brandon did who was still mad from what he had found out about Jack.

they ran into the woods with Brandon still in hot pursuit screaming curse words and vulgar language that I'm pretty sure his mom would be proud of.

Jack was a fast runner, and so was Brandon so he figured that that's where it came from. Jack was freakin scared, how did he know that? He had become to fear the boy because of his rage and strength, and now he was fast to! Jack was running for his life because if he knew if he stopped, Brandon would surely kill him, ESPECIALLY in the woods where no one could find his body.

"I'M GONNA FUCK YOU UP SO BADLY YOU LITTLE SON OF A BITCH, I'LL FUCKING MURDER YOU DAMMIT!" Brandon yelled from behind him and Jack continued to run and quickly jumped over a log, feet don't fail me now he thought mentally as he slowly started to become tired. This actually gave him a distant memory that he had forgotten until now...

Back When Jack and Elsa were in high school...

Jack was outside walking his dog an all-white husky named Winters, he had his favorite hoodie up over his head on this chilly night, it was particularly big, but that's what he loved about it, he knew that he would have this sweater for a long time.

He started thinking about a particular platinum blond he admired and "sort of" had a bit of a crush on, he smiled at the thought of her. She insisted on just being friends, but he was pretty sure that was not going to last.

he turned a corner into the more city like part, with a plaza and restaurants along with a couple of alley ways, he was about to cross one when he heard people talking, he quickly stopped himself and laid back against the wall pulling Winters into his arms, which was a little difficult since the puppy was getting a bit big.

he listened closely to what the people were talking about, a bit curious for why they were out so late.

"Come on sweetie, just tell us where the Frost-boy is and we will let you go" Jack knew that voice, Pitch, who was apparently looking for him

"No, Pitch, why do you spend time with these people, don't you miss being with Jack and your other friends?" Jack pulled away in shock, Elsa, what was he going to do? It's not like he was gonna let her get hurt just for his sake, no, he wasn't that selfish.

So Jack put Winters down and whispered in his ear, "Speak" before climbing up a fire escape ladder at the side of the building. Unlike other allies the three buildings that surrounded it was not the same height, the two buildings that were the sides of the alley were tall, but the one that was supposed to be the back of the alley was about half the size, so he could jump off of the grabbing Elsa and Winters, then just making a run for it.

plus this was a great way for him to show off to Elsa.

"This is the last time I'm going to ask you, tell us where Frost is or-" he was quickly cut off when Elsa shoved him and yelled, "NO!" that did it, Pitch stumbled into his friends, who also had a grudge against Jack. "Why you little- What the hell?" Pitch whipped his head to the opening of the alleyway, there was a constant yapping, and he saw the little white puppy.

"Hey, I know that dog, that's that's Frost's dog" One of Pitch's friends, a big guy named Gantoo spoke up in a deep voice. Elsa recognized the husky as well, if Winters was her, where was Jack?

Suddenly she heard a thud on one of the garbage cans, before something grabbed her quick as lightning and carried her,tripping the drug addicts, then picking up the dog and sprinted cross the street before setting her down, she looked up too see Jack, bent over and panting, of course it was Jack. So obvious.

"Hey Jack" she said casually, still breathless he panted out "Hey... snow... queen" then they heard Pitch scream behind them "FROST!" Jack shoved the puppy into Elsa's arms "Better start running" he said, and they ran off.

They sat down on the park bench, exhausted. They had lost them, when Pitch had an angry phone call from his mom to come home, and everyone knew that the one person you don't mess with, it was Pitch's mom.

Elsa handed back Winters to Jack, who had fallen asleep the minute they sat down "Thanks Jack" she told him "Your my hero" she added before kissing his cheek, a big smile ran across his face before turning into that cocky smirk "Hey, I thought heroes got kisses on the lips not their cheek" Elsa blushed as she shoved him off the bench with him laughing.

Back to the present...

Elsa stared out the window, what should she do, go after the or let Brandon beat him up? Although it was pretty tempting to see Jack get beaten up, she decided against it, she knew Brandon had somewhat of a anger issue, when he was mad and she didn't want Jack in the hospital, so she grabbed her purse, for whatever reason, and left the house before she climbed into her car.

It took about an hour to find them but she eventually found them in the paths that lead to the forest, as she walked up the path she could hear Brandon's fists whistle through the air, but none of them made any contact except when Jack's hands caught them.

"WOAH! slow down boy! That was ages ago!" Jack tried to calm him down, but it clearly wasn't working. "SO AGES AGO YOU DATED MY AUNT!" He threw his fist at Jack, but he only caught it again. "Okay so maybe I made out with her a little bit, but it wasn't JUST her" he said, Elsa hit herself with her hands, sure Jack was sorta cute and stuff, but he really was an idiot, especially since he was listing his former girlfriends off while dodging Brandon's punches.

"There was Gina, Kylee she was a bitch, one time I dated that Russian girl for a while, then there was that whore she was fun but incredibly stupid" Elsa sighed, if only he knew, Jack continued rambling though, making Brandon angrier and angrier "OH! Right there was too- I mean Rapunzel and Elsa" Jack finished "The rest of them I kind of forgot"

Elsa hit her head against a nearby tree, could there be anyone else more stupid? She decided now would be a good time to stop it before she had to listen to MORE of Jack's stupidity, she picked up two rocks and threw it at their heads "Brandon, we're going, NOW" she spoke in a mature voice that she knew made Brandon listen to her, holding his head he walked back down the path with his mother.

Jack smirked as he rubbed his head and watched them leave, he thought

That was easy

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA That was actually kindof funny, I didn't know Jack was so stupid! But I guess not since that was his plan to get Brandon to stop fighting with him anyways, so I guess he was pretty smart, this time. So yah guys I'm back after a month, yes I feel kind of bad leaving you on a cliffhanger, but... I actually don't have an excuse, laziness maybe? I hadn't even planned on updating, until someone reviewed that they actually wanted to read more, I forgot their name, lemme check.

Okay, her name is Madison, she's a guest actually, so yah, the only reason this has been updated is because you reviewed, plus I felt really bad, If you guys were wondering about A Thousand Years: Brother and why it wasn't updated this weekend, I didn't have time last week and was somewhere else on the weekend, so sorry! When this will be updated again? I'm not sure, depends on how you review, yes I'm selfish.
