Chapter 13
"NII-SAN!"Issei cried out in shock, witnessing his brother's defeat by the Phoenix members ultimate attack.
…...
The audience in the ball room became silent, watching the Phoenix's opponent incinerated by the powerful blast.
The Occult Research club were also shocked to see their fellow member defeated, or worse...
Rias turned to Issei, who was completely shock of what had just happen to his brother. She tightly clenched her fist in anger and sadness as she watches Issei suffer more than before. Then, she felt a hand placed on her shoulder, thinking it was Raiser gloating about his peerage's victory, but she was wrong. It was Akeno, her most loyal servant and best friend.
"Don't worry, Kazuma-san wouldn't lose that easily. I believe that he'll survive."Akeno reassured.
"Heh, in the end, he was nothing more then a weakling to be defeated by my peerage."Raiser smiled cheerfully.
"Hey, something is falling out of the smoke!?"one of the high class devils pointed out.
In the massive smoke cloud, a small figure was found falling through the air. When the magic screen zoomed in, it revealed that it was Kazuma falling. Rias and her peerage were relieved to see that he was still alive while Raiser on the other hand was furious.
"Itachi-san, what happen to the seal?"Shigure asked
"I'm not sure, but something tells me that Kazuma-kun was able to somehow overcome it."Itachi explained

"Fufu, it's a surprise that he was able to survive our attack, don't you think?"Yubelluna asked her fellow members.
"It was just luck that saved him, now he has nothing to defeat us. This victory is ours."Isabella replied
"Oh,oh,oh, indeed, no matter how hard he tries, he could never defeat a phoenix."Ravel laughed.
As Kazuma falls down through the air, he regain consciousness as he slowly opens his eyes.
"W-What happen?"Kazuma mumbled and slowly looked down, seeing that he's about to crash into the ground soon.
Kazuma's eyes widen in shock, now realizing where he was at now and started performing multiple hand signs.
"Wind Style: Vacuum blast jutsu!" Kazuma quickly unleashed a strong guest of wind at the ground, trying to land safely, but he suddenly ran out of his chakra to support the fall and landed roughly on his back.
He winced in pain, feeling his whole body ache from the fall. As he slowly lifts himself up, he wondered what had happened to him while he was in the air before.
Flash back...
"That's it... just... a little more... Ka..zu..ma..kun..."one of the heads echoed it's whispering voice into Kazumas head.
Kazuma slowly reaches the paper seal, just inches away from unleashing the power that he needs to win.
"KAZUMA-KUN!"a familiar female voice yelled out his name.
Kazuma instantly regain consciousness from the sudden call and saw the phoenix members devastating blast. He knew that he didn't have enough chakra to take on the blast, but he quickly thought of an idea and made multiple hand signs.
"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu!"Kazuma quickly form a water like dome around him as a shield to protect himself from the phoenix blast. As the blast finally connected, it caused a huge explosion that knock Kazuma unconscious once again from the impact.
Flash back end...
Kazuma remembered what had happened now. He remembered that was he about to undo the seal that was keeping the terrifying monster inside of him from destroying everything. He cursed himself for almost succumbing to the sneaky bastards persuasion again. Luckily, he was thankful to a voice of an old friend that he deeply cared about, he was able to come back to his senses.
As he stands on his knees, he turns towards to the phoenix members. All of the members were all healed up, thanks to the Phoenix tears and he just used the last of his chakra to survive his fall from before. At this point on, he might have to give up to the phoenix members.
He became pissed as he clenched his fist tightly, knowing that there's no possible way of defeating them. He couldn't believe this, he failed his brother, his friends, his masters and most of all, he failed himself.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew through Kazuma out of nowhere, giving him a cool breeze all over his body. The wind suddenly made him calm, as if all his worries just vanished from one sweep of the wind. He remembered this feeling before when he started to live in the village.
Flash back...
It was night time at the village with hardly anyone around, sleeping in their homes while some that are ninja's took patrol through the village. Then, their was a 14 year old named Kazuma Hyoudou, who was rescued by the ninja's from the so called school for gifted children.
Kazuma was sitting on top of the mountain where the Hokage statues were built. He gazes at the sight of the whole village, seeing how beautiful the view is. But, even though he enjoys gazing the village, he still wanted to go home to his family. But under circumstances due to the incident involving Orchimaru, he was not allowed return home.
Even though it was tough to bear, he was given a choice to either return home with a couple of elite ninjas to watch over him and his family until they find Orochimaru or live in the village and become a full fledged ninja. He thought long and hard about the choices and decided that it was best to live here and become stronger for his family sake.
A half a year have passed since he started his life as a ninja, training intensely so he can become stronger and hopefully come back to his family as soon as possible.
"So this is where you were, Kazuma-kun." a familiar voice spoke behind him.
Kazuma turned, seeing it was Itachi.
"Oh, hello Itachi-sama..."Kazuma greeted in a less cheerful tone.
Itachi sat next to him, gazing at the village."Is something the matter, Kazuma-kun?"Itachi asked
"What makes you think I have a problem?"Kazuma replied
"I can tell from your eyes that shows a feeling of sadness about something, am I wrong?"Itachi guested
"No..."Kazuma replied
"Then, what is the matter?"Itachi asked
Kazuma took a deep breath and exhaled slowly."It's just that... I don't think I belong here."Kazuma said
"How so?"
Kazuma looked up to the night sky."I've been here for a half a year and I haven't made any progress on myself. I've seen other ninja's that are around my age or younger to be so strong. I just don't think that I'm cut to be a ninja who's not even born in this village. I'm truly grateful for what you and Shigure-san have done for me by letting me stay in your home, but I just to know what to do... I don't I even know who I am anymore..."Kazuma clenched his hands tightly, letting a tear escape from his eyes, feeling frustrated of himself.
Then, he felt Itachi's hand placed on his shoulder.
"Kazuma-kun, do you remember the time when you saved a young boy from being kidnapped by the rogue ninjas?"Itachi asked
"Yea, I remembered that I also got beaten up severely and was almost killed if it wasn't for Kakashi and Obito-senpai who came and saved us at the last second."Kazuma explained, getting chills from remembering that disturbing moment.
"Than why did risk your life on saving the boy, even though you knew that you weren't a capable ninja?"Itachi asked
"I-I don't know, I was afraid the whole time as I fought them. But, when I saw the boy crying, he reminded me on myself, getting taken away from his family, wondering if he'll ever see them again. Even though I was getting beaten to a pulp, knowing that I was no match for them. My body kept getting back up and charged towards them again. I know that was scared, I know I was weak, but I felt the need to save him, but in the end I did a horrible job on saving him."Kazuma explained
Suddenly, Itachi lifted himself off the ground and gazed at the village.
"Kazuma-kun, that sudden feeling that you had when your body kept getting back up as you tried saving the child, do you know what it's called?"Itachi asked
"N-No?"Kazuma replied
"What you have felt was the Will of Fire."
"The Will of Fire?"
"Yes, it is what gives us shinobi's the strength to continue fighting against all odds, building our willpower and strength of character. And most of all, it is also the symbolic of the hopes and dreams of previous generation being passed to the next." Itachi explained and turn to Kazuma.
"Kazuma-kun, even though you only just started out as a ninja that wasn't born here, it doesn't mean you don't belong with us. You risked your life to try to save another from danger. And as a ninja, you have showed what it truly takes to inherit the Will of Fire. You are not just Kazuma Hyoudou, you are Kazuma Hyoudou, the shinobi of this village."
Kazuma was taken back by Itachi's speech, he didn't know how to reply back after hearing those words.
"I understand that it's hard to not return home to your family under the circumstances, but I guarantee that you'll return home as a strong ninja. So in the mean time, protect our home as you would protect yours."Itachi finished his speech.
Kazuma was silent, thinking about he wanted to say, but the only thing that pop up was...
"Thank you, Itachi-sama... for showing me who I am now."Kazuma smiled
"Come, let us head back to the house or else Shigure-san will be worried." Itachi said, walking pass Kazuma. Without Kazuma noticing, Itachi made a light smile.
Kazuma slowly got off the ground and gazed at the village. He felt the strong breeze blowing through him, feeling all of his worries just vanish by the wind as he watched the leaves flow with the wind. He now knows who he is... a shinobi.
Flash back end...
As Kazuma was still on the ground with his knees, the phoenix members couldn't help but feel excited for the match to soon end as they gaze at Kazuma's weaken state.
"Nii-san?"Issei thought in concern, worried about his older brother.
"Hey, why don't you just give up already so we can watch my onii-san defeat the dragon boy."Ravel suggested
Kazuma didn't reply as he slowly lifts himself, standing on his two feet.
Ravel sighed, thinking that there's no point of talking to him."Isabella, Sui, finish him off."
"As you wish, my lady."Isabella replied and dashed in with Lin following her as well.
The two rooks headed towards Kazuma, still seeing him doing nothing. When they finally reach to him, they charged in with one throwing a punch while the other swung her leg.
"Nii-san!"Issei yelled
Suddenly, Kazuma quickly caught Isabella's punch and Sui's kick at the last second, making everybody shocked. Kazuma softly chuckled at the two rooks and pushed them back, but collapse on one knee in the process.
"But how?"Isabella questioned, seeing Kazuma still moving.
As Kazuma slowly brings himself back up again, his whole body was emitting a silverish flaming aura that was giving out a powerful feeling. But, it didn't stop as the power kept increasing drastically, making everyone shock.
"What is this power?"Ravel thought out of shock.
"Nii-san?"Issei mumbled
Kazuma turned his head and smiled at him."Sorry Is-kun, I know that I'm taking too long, but don't worry now... I'm going to show you what I can really do."Kazuma explained, turning his head back to the phoenix peerage.
"Impossible?! How can you still move after all the damage we've done to you.?"Yubelluna questioned
"How you ask? It's because no matter how badly the odds are against me, I won't give up and you want to know why? Because I am Kazuma Houdou, a shinobi that carries the burning Will of Fire! And until I have nothing left inside of me, I will not lose!"Kazuma declared, making everyone surprised.
"The Will of Fire? Don't be ridiculous, nothing can out burn the eternal fire of the phoenix."Ravel stated
"Well then, let's see who's burns brighter than."Kazuma smiled and made a hand sign, creating a huge smoke cloud, covering himself.
"I won't let you pull that same trick again!"Ravel blasted her fire magic from her hands, heading towards the smoke cloud.
Ravel's fire magic entered the smoke cloud, thinking that he would quickly escape from her attack. But, the fire magic was quickly disperse by a wind like attack. As her attack was easily defeated, the smoke cloud also started to disappear into nothing, revealing an unexpected surprise.

As the smoke finally disappeared from the magic screen, the audience became surprise of Kazuma's appearance.
Kazuma wore a pair of black pants and fingerless gloves, with a grey, presumed form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wears a dark blue, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half. Around his waist he wears a simple, black obi and a belt. Strapped to his back, he carried a gunbai, which was a giant non folding fan that had a long handle with black bandage wrapping around the base, and the color of the fan had a silver tint and a black border, connected to a black chain that ran up his right sleeve. And finally, he had on a forehead protector that was a long black bandana and the metal plate had a certain symbol written on it saying, shinobi...
"I never seen Kazuma wear something like that before."Kiba said.
"That is because it's his ninja gear."Shigure replied, making the gremory peerage, including Rias turn to her.
"Ara, ara, so that's his outfit, and here I was expecting for him to be in tights. Fufufu."Akeno giggled, making Rias sweat drop.
"But why would Kazuma-san change in such a serious fight?"Rias asked
"The reason is because he has decided to show everyone here what the shinobi's are truly capable of."Itachi explained

Issei was dumbstruck, before him was his older brother, wearing some kind of ninja outfit. He thought at first it was going to be a type of ninja tights that he mentioned before, but he was wrong. He couldn't help to admit that his older brother looks so cool.
"So you changed your oufit, what will that accomplish?"Ravel questioned sarcatically.
"Nothing really... but, you can say that I'm getting serious now."Kazuma replied calmly, making Ravel irritated.
"Whatever, Isabella, Sui, finish him already."Ravel ordered
Both of the rooks charged towards Kazuma, but he quickly appeared behind them without even looking back, catching the rooks off guard. Isabella and Sui quickly turn their heads and quickly attack with a fist aiming for the back of his head and kick aiming for his lower back, but Kazuma easily evade both of their attacks by making a back flip dive through there arm and leg and land on a hand stand.
"LEAF HURRICANE!"Kazuma shouted, spinning his legs around like a twister.
Isabella and Sui tried to avoid getting hit, but it was too late as Kazuma made contact with them and got knocked back by his strong spin kick. The two rooks skidded across the area, but quickly stopped themselves. Even though they successfully pull themselves together, they both felt majorly injured from Kazuma's attack.
"Well then, shall we start the final round?"Kazuma asked
The girls became serious as they readied themselves against him. Kazuma then made a hand sign, creating two smoke clouds. When the clouds faded, it reveal two more Kazuma's.
"You guys know what to do, right?"Kazuma asked his two clones, seeing them nodded and sat down, crossing their legs as they perform multiple handsigns.
The girls became confused of why he suddenly made copies of himself, but not to assits him in fighting. Yubelluna on the other hand was curious of what trick he's trying to pull this time, even though it seems to be nothing, she can't be too careless in this fight.
The original Kazuma turn towards the phoenix group and calmly starts walking towards them. The only noise that was made in the battle was Kazuma's foot steps as he heads towards them step by step.
Suddenly,Caramine began walking towards Kazuma as well.
"Caramine-san, why are you walking towards him?"Ravel asked, being confused
"Because he is as well."Caramine replied
"You can't be serious, what if he's pulling you into a trap?"Ravel tried to convince her.
"That may be, but as a knight of the Phoenix, I feel that this Kazuma-san person is going to fight us honorably this time."Caramine explained, pulling out one of her swords.
Ravel sighed, knowing that it can't be helped since she's a knight who fights honorably. She then sees Chris and the others, who were somewhat worried about there comrade.
Ravel sighed once again."Just go and join her."Ravel ordered.
Chris headed to Caramine, walking by her side as well as Mira, the two cat girls, the chainsaw twins and Isabella and Lin. As all the close range fighters of the Phoenix peerage headed towards Kazuma, the rest of the members stayed right by Ravel.
"Don't worry Ravel-sama, while they take on the human, we'll be casting our spells at him from here, he won't have the same chance as he had before."Yubelluna reassured.
[Raising the fighting spirit extended-OST]
The final round between the battle of Kazuma and Raiser's peerage was coming close to an end as there distance from eachother kept getting smaller from each step. Kazuma then started speeding up and began running towards them. The girls saw what he was doing and followed as well, speeding up towards Kazuma.
The two sides were running faster and faster, charging towards as they prepare themselves to fight. Then, it began, Kazuma, Caramine and Chris disappeared into blinding speed, clashing into eachother. Kazuma pulled his two kunai's out as he collides with Caramine's and Chris's swords. As the three of them fight, the chainsaw twins attack Kazuma from behind as the two knights were a feet away from swinging their blades at Kazuma.
Kazuma back fliped away, evading the knights attack and threw both of his kunai's at the chainsaws, making both of them drop their weapons. The twins were surprised and tried to grab their weapons, but Kazuma drop kick them from the air, knocking them back. Caramine and Chris charged in once again to strike Kazuma, but as Kazuma landed on the ground from his back flip, he quickly picked up both of the twins chainsaws and block both of the knights attacks.
Both of the knights were shock to see that Kazuma used the chainsaws to block their attack. Kazuma broke the block and overower them as he pushes them back by swinging the chainsaws. Caramine and Chris swung their swords as well, clashing once again. But this time, Kazuma wasn't able to keep up with their speed as the weight of holding two chainsaws was slowling him down. Both of the knights overpowered him in speed and swiftly swung their blades at Kazuma. The shinobi, forcebly block both of the attacks once again, barely making it in time. But in the process, both of the chainsaws were sliced in half.
The knights tried to strike once again, but Kazuma tossed away the destroyed chainsaws and quickly pulled out his gunbai, easily block both of the knights attack. The knights tried to overpower him by force as they lit up their swords on fire, trying to burn away the gaint fan. But, the flaming swords had no effect on it, seeing no burn marks or cuts penetrating through it.
"Why isn't your wooden fan getting effect by our flames?"Caramine growled with an angered tone.
"Because this fan has a high resistance against fire and it's not made of wood, it's purely made of metal."Kazuma replied, making both knights dumbstruck.
"M-Metal? How can this be!? No human should be able to carry such a large weapon with that much metal!"Caramine stated
"True, a normal human would have a hard time wielding something this heavy, but in my case it's entirely different."Kazuma smirked
Then, the rest of the melee members charged in while Caramine and Chris were holding off Kazuma. As they tried to unleash their attack on Kazuma, they noticed his feint smirk and his fan suddenly emitting a strange silver flame like aura on it.
"Wind Style: Tempest Whirlwind Jutsu!"Kazuma shouted, pushing back the two knights while swinging his gunbai. As he completes his 360 degree spin, Kazuma unleashed a strong whirlwind that blew everyone around him away at a far distance.
Suddenly, Kazuma spotted the phoenix queen's magic circle, knowing what it does and quickly jumped back, seeing a strong explosion before him. He turned towards the other group and saw multiple fire blast coming at him. Kazuma quickly sprinted, evadding each of the fire blast while making a hand sign.
"Wind Style: Multi Vacuum Bullet Jutsu!"Kazuma began unleashing multiple air bullets.
Both of the air bullets and fire blast collided, concealing each other out as they exploded, creating a large smoke cloud. The smoke cloud quicky faded away, seeing both of the sides unharm from their attacks.
[Raising the fighting spirits extended-OST END]
The crowd were surprised and amazed at the same time, seeing both sides still continueing after what they have gone through. Most of the high class devils were still rooting for the phoenix group, but unexpectedly a few high class members started rooting for the young shinobi.
"I gotta say, from facing all of you guys at once, I can see why you guys haven't lost a single rated battle."Kazuma complimented, seeing some of them smile and some smirk.
"But as of now, I'm going to end this with one attack."Kazuma smiled
"Oh really? And how are you going to do that?"Ravel questioned
"With this."Kazuma pointed up to the sky.
[Naruto's main theme-OST]
The group looked up and saw something unexpected. The sky was filled with dark clouds, giving off some sparks as it makes a soft thundering sound.
"W-What in the world is that!?"Ravel exclaimed in shock.
Yubelluna suddenly noticed something behind the ninja that was emitting an overwhelming amount of power. Her eyes widen in shock seeing that it was the two clones that he created earlier, one emitting lighting around its body while the other was emitting water like aura as well.
"So that's why use made those clones, you're using them to create a storm to extinguish our fire once it rains. But unfortunately, our fire does not go out as easily as ordinary fire, and besides."Yubelluna smiled as she snaps her fingers.
Two powerful explosion detonated on the two clones, destroying them into nothing.
"I figured you would try to add something in your sleeves, but I was a few steps ahead of you."Yubelluna explained as she smiled seductively
Suddenly, the dark clouds grew twice its size and the soft thunder changed into a raging roar, seeing a bolt of lighting strike down in the middle of the field.
Yubelluna became shocked as well as the other group to see that her plan had failed. She didn't understand, she thought that destroying them would make the clouds disappeared. So why are they still here and became more unstable.
"If you're wondering why your plan didn't work, it's because even though my clones disappear, it doesn't mean the chakra will."Kazuma told
"What do you mean?"Yubelluna questioned
"That dark cloud was created by my chakra and the only way for it to became stronger is only by absorbing my chakra. When you destroyed my clones, the large amount of chakra was transferred into the my clouds, increasing its power drastically. So, I thank you for your help."Kazuma smiled.
Yubelluna clench her fist tightly, feeling angry from being used. This time, she was going to make him pay.
"Everyone, combine all your magic together into one blast as we did before, but this time, he won't survive our blast."Yubelluna ordered, all the girls grouped up together and began to channel all their magic together.
Kazuma smiled, seeing that your going to use their strongest attacck again. But this time, he's not going to lose to them. He made a hand sign and a lighting bolt strike upon Kazuma, making the others shocked. But, Kazuma wasn't getting affected by the lighting, but channeling his chakra to the clouds.
...
"Itachi-san, doesn't that jutsu look familiar?"Shigure asked
"Yes, it reminds me of Sasuke-kun's Karin jutsu, he may have tried to copied his jutsu, but it seems completely different."Itachi replied
The occult research club members were now watchinng two sides increasing their power to prepare for the final attack. Akeno watches Kazuma with amazement as she sees him channeling his chakra through the clouds. For some reason, she felt a strong feeling inside her chest that Kazuma will win.

The phoenix peerage finally finished storing up their magic and started readied themselves as they aim at the shinobi. Kazuma slowly undo his hand sign and lifted both of his arms up to the sky.
"I hope you guys are prepare for this, because your about to have a taste of my new jutsu."Kazuma stated
"Will see about that, human."Yubelluna smirked as well
The phoenix peerage fired their magic, unleashing a larger version of their first blast, the blast formed into a raging phoenix, aiming for Kazuma and this time, nothing was going to stop the fury of the fire phoenix.
Kazuma smiled as he witness such a powerful attack coming at him. He knew that their attack was going to be more powerful than ever. But still, he wasn't going to back down.
"Storm style: RAIDEN!"Kazuma yelled, throwing his arms down, pulling the lighting bolt with him.
The dark clouds started to open up, revealing a pair of monster like hands, ripping the clouds apart to open its path. When it finally opened, a silver chinese dragon shape lighting descended out of the clouds. Just like the burning phoenix that was made of fire, the dragon was made by the storm, emitting sliver like electricity around it.
Everyone was shocked to see such an overwhelming power before them, even Raiser himself was stunned at the sight of the dragon storm. Some of the phoenix peerage members were also frighten of the appearance, but it didn't falter them as they still concentrated on their magic.
Both the burning fire phoenix and the raging storm dragon collided, causing a huge impact on both sides. The force was so intense that the air pushed Issei back a couple of feet. As Issei was trying to keep himself from being pushed back any further, he narrowed his eye as he stares intensely at the two sides clashing firecely, trying to overpower each other. At this point, both sides were giving everything they have to show who was stronger.
"Kiba-kun... Koneko-chan... Aisa-chan... Gremory-san... Akeno-san and Is-kun, I'm sorry if I couldn't be a part of your peerage and fight along side you guys... but, as a member of your club and bodyguard... I will not let you guys down!"Kazuma yelled.
Kazuma roared fiercley as he emits a large silverish aura around him, unleashing everything once of chakra he had, making the storm dragon's power increased intensely and destroyed the fire phoenix. The phoenix members were dumbstruck by the defeat of their strongest blast. Now, they will be embracing the raging storm dragon. The dragon like storm opened its mouth and engulfed them.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
The blast created a destructively large explosion, causing the ground to shake by the intense impact. Issei was knocked back by the insane force, making him fall completely on the ground.
The audience were silent, they couldn't say anything to describe the devastation it was made on the field as they could only see a large thick cloud of smoke blocking the scene. Rias's group were also shock of Kazuma's ultimate attack, witnessing what Issei's older brother is truely capable of. Akeno on the other hand was amazed of Kazuma's lighting attack, even though it was a fearsome move, she felt a sudden spark inside of her chest that made her feel... electrified.
Then, the smoke started to slowly fade as the wind's strong breeze carried it away. The field was revealed, showing Kazuma barely standing while panting heavily from being overly exhausted. The other side were the phoenix peerage stand made everyone shock at the sight. There side of the field was completely destroyed, seeing only a giant crater covering half of the field.

Kazuma mustered enough for him to limp towards the giant crater, seeing if any of them have survived. When he saw the whole view, he spotted the phoenix peerage members scattered all around, severely injured and unconscious. He was relieved that none of them were killed in the process.
Suddenly, a fire magic blast came at Kazuma, making him quickly pull out his gunbai and deflected the blast. He quickly turned and became surprised, out of all the members that survived, it was Ravel Phoenix.
"Why?!"Ravel yelled, casting another fire magic at Kazuma, but he swung his fan again, deflecting the blast once more.
Then Ravel collapse on her knees, feeling exhausted as well.
"Why did this happen? It was a full peerage set verus one person, we had our phoenix tears, our eternal fire should have won... so why... "Ravel yelled out of anger, tightly grasping the dirt from the ground.
Ravel then sees Kazuma slowly approaching towards her. She tried to move herself, but it was no use as she felt fully drained from using too much magic. Kazuma finally stops as he appears in front of her. She looked up seeing tall young man, gazing seriousness in his eyes as he lifts up his gunbai. She knew that he was going to attack her, so she closed her eyes to avoid the scene of her torture.
As Kazuma lifts up his gunbai, he hooks his fan behind on his back.
"Why you asked?"Kazuma spoke softly, making Ravel open her eyes.
"Because my Will of Fire burned brighter then your eternal phoenix fire."Kazuma explained and started to walk back.
"Wait! What made yours brighter then ours? What kind of fire spell did you use to become stronger?"Ravel beg.
Kazuma slowly stops and turns to her."The Will of Fire is not the spell that can make me burn brighter. The Will of Fire is a reminder that I am a ninja who has the desire to protect those I care about and to never give up..."Kazuma smiled and walks away once again.
As Ravel gazes at the shinobi walking away, she suddenly collapses from exhaustion. The fire that protects and to never give up she thought before she became unconscious.
The battle was finally over, leaving Kazuma the winner.
...
The audience were shock, seeing for the first time the phoenix peerage were defeated by one shinobi. Some of the devils were outraged while others were impressed by the young shinobi. But as for Raiser, he was utterly furious that one human defeated his whole peerage.
"Just you wait, once I'll deal with the dragon boy, I'll be aiming for your head next."Raiser thought furiously as he clench his fist tightly.
The Gremory peerage smiled, seeing one of their club member avenge them.
"It was a close match, but in the end Kazuma-san pulled out a victory."Kiba said as he smiles, seeing Koneko nod.
"Kazuma-san is strong..."Koneko replied
Akeno gazes with amazement, seeing her fellow club member not only survived but defeated all of the peerage phoenix members by himself. She couldn't help but smile, feeling thankful for what he had done for them that they failed to accomplish.

As Kazuma slowly walks to the other side of the field, he sees his little brother running towards him.
"You did it Nii-san!"Issei yelled joyfully
Kazuma couldn't help but smile."Heh, I told you before Is-kun. I already got thi-"Kazuma was cut off as his whole body collapsed on the ground, making Issei shocked.
"Nii-san!"Issei yelled, running towards him.
As he finally makes it to him, a person with an orange mask appeared from a swirling portal before Issei and Kazuma.
"Hello, Kazuma-kun's brother!"Tobi said cheerfully, making Issei startled
"W-Who the hell are you?"Issei questioned
"The names Tobi, I'm a good buddy of Kazuma-kun."Tobi replied as he makes a funny pose, making Issei swear drop.
"Then why are you here? We need someone to help Nii-san or else he'll-"
"Relaxxx, Kazuma-kun just collapse from over exhaustion of using to much chakra and stuff. So have no fear, Tobi is on the rescue by taking Kazuma-kun to our ninja medic."Tobi explained, picking up Kazuma-kun's body.
Before Tobi could do anything, Kazuma grabbed on to Issei's arm and pulled towards him, whispering something in his little brother's ear before he finally became unconscious. Then Tobi disappeared into a swirling portal afterword.

After thirty minutes had passed, the battle field was completely rebuild for the main event. Ravel was the first of her members to have awakened after the fight and walk back to the audience, wanting to watch her brother's fight.
Now it was the final match between, Issei Hyuudou, the Red Dragon Emperor against Raiser Phoenix, the Flame Phoenix.
"Then, begin."Sirzech announced to start the battle.
"President, I'll settle this in ten seconds!"Issei declared
"Defeat me brother in ten seconds? Is he insane?"Ravel exclaimed
"Heh. Then I'll have your impudent mouth in five, in a way that it will never be open again!"Raiser stated as he sprout flaming wings and soar high into the air.
"President, please give me permission to use promotion!"Issei requested as he charges towards his opponent.
"Issei-kun, what are you planning to do?"Rias thought in concern
"Promotion! Queen!"Issei shouted , instantly gaining the power of the queen chest piece.
"It's no use!"Raiser unleashed his flames blast at Issei, but he evaded it.
"President! I don't have a talent for sword fighting like Kiba-kun does. I'm not a magic prodigy like Akeno-san, either. I don't have super strength like Koneko-chan. Nor do I have a wonderful healing ability like Asia! And I'm not as strong compared to my Ni-san. But still, I'll become the strongest pawn! If it's for you, president. I'll overthrow even god himself!"Issei declared, making Rias surprised.
"Glow, OVERBOOST!"Issei yelled, throwing his sacred gear arm up in the air, unleashing something unexpected.
WELSH DRAGON OVERBOOSTER!
Issei's sacred gear suddenly expanded all over his body, creating an full body dragon like armor.
"This is the power of emperor of dragons: Balance breaker. Boosted gear scale mail!"Issei said, unleashing a large amount of power.
"Balance breaker? A forbidden move?"Rias said while Raiser glared in anger.
"The forbidden... diabolical magic"Sirzech mumbled
Flash back...
"Let's make a deal."Issei suggested
"Interesting, are you determined, boy?"Ddraig asked
"Shut up! Are you doing it or not?"Issei questioned
"As I said, I'll make it worth the sacrifice. However, remember one thing. There will be a count to ten. Your body won't stand it longer than that."Ddraig explained
"That's more than enough time too... "
Flash back end...
"Knock that fucker out!"Issei jumps into the air and unleashed a sphire like blast, launching it at Raiser.
Raiser quickly dodged the attack, seeing that the ball landed on the ruined towers, but the tower was quickly destroyed from the blast.
"I'm right here!"Issei appeared in front of Raiser, throwing a punch at him, but it failed as Raiser barely dodged the attack, making Issei crash into the ground.
NINE!
"What's with this power and speed? Damn, annoying brat! You're just a monster right now, brat! This is our clan's gallant hellfire of the phoenix, the fire bird, the immotal bird! Take it and incinerate!"Raiser began emitting an overwhelming power as the fire spread all around him and charged towards Issei.
EIGHT!
"There's no way in hell your lame flame can burn me!"Issei charged towards Raiser as well.
They both threw a single punch at eachother, causing a intense explosion from there insane power. Then, Issei crushed into the ground once again from the impact.
"If it wasn't for this armor... so this is his real power?"Issei thought as he slowly gets up.
SEVEN!
"Are you afraid? Are you afraid of me? You're just a useless scum without your boosted gear!"Raiser stated, blasting his raging fire blast at Issei.
Issei quickly jumped out of the way, evading the attack and soars into the air towards Raiser. The phoenix heir emitting a large fire ball in his hand, rolling it into a fist as he throws it at the dragon boy. Issei threw his fist as well, causing both of them to gain a hit a each other. Issei was the first gush out a chunk of blood from his mouth by Raiser punch.
Raiser chuckled at the sight of his injured opponent."Is that all you've-"
Raiser suddenly felt intense pain, causing him to spit out blood as well.
"Y-You bastard. What did you do?"Raiser questioned in shock.
Then, he noticed something in the dragon boy's hand that was shimmering with light."A cross?"Raiser thought.
Issei crushed into the another ruined tower, but bounced off of it and fell to the ground. Issei than forced himself up as he stood on his two feet.
FIVE!
"You have a cross?!"Riaser questioned as he stands on one knee, whincing in pain.
"Our bishop used to be a nun, remember? I borrowed the one she tucked away. Looks like the holy power boosted with a sacred gear works even on you!"Issei explained, holding the cross.
FOUR!
"Impossible? The cross severely damages a demon! Even with that dragon armor, he shouldn't be able to hod-"Raiser than realized what the dragon boy had done.
"Don't tell me you gave your entire arm to the dragon within it?"
THREE!
"A dragon's arm doesn't suffer from a demon's weakness!"Issei stated
Flash back...
"This arm is no longer mine."Issei said
"Eh?"Asia gasped in confusion as she sees him open the small box and pulls out the cross.
"So.. see? I can even hold a cross."Issei explained as he holds the silver cross before Asia.
Flash back ends...
"Are you out of your mind? You'll never get it back!"
TWO!
"So what?!"Issei replied with an uncaring tone as he walks towards Raiser

"He even sacrificed his own arm. There's no way he'll lose! He'll definately win and bring president back!"Asia thought as gazes at the full moon while shedding tears of worrieness for Issei.
ONE!
"My arm is a small price to pay if I can have the president back! DREAM FINGER!"Issei yelled as he charges with everything he has towards Raiser.
COUNT OFF!
Suddenly, Issei's dragons armor vanished, making him lose his balance and fall.
"To bad. you ran out of time, boy."Ddraig said
"Don't give me that crap! I was so close! What do I need to sacrifice this time? My eye? My leg? I'll give you anything!"Issei beg.
"Your physical strength is the limiting factor."Ddraig replied
"So it's because I'm weak? Damn it! Why do I fail at such a critical moment?!"Issei said
"The moment the armor disengaged. I transfered some power into the jewel. It won't last long, so it's unable to counter phoenix's regenerative abilities."Ddraig explained
"But... even so, I will... never give up!"Issei slowly lifted himself up, but Raiser grabbed his collar shirt, lifting him from the ground.
"Well then, time to put you to sleep. The ceremony will be over by the time you wake up."
[Highschool dxd opening song]
"Not yet... How do you put out fire? With water!"Issei smirked, holding holy water in his hand.
"Holy water, but holy water alone won't be enough to defeat Raiser."Sona said
Issei yanked the top cap with his teeth and poured thw holy water all over on Raiser.
"Boosted gear gift!"
TRANSFER!
The power was transfered into the holy water as it spreads all over the phoenix's face. Raiser covered his face as he yells in pain from the water.
"Raiser's flame it's..."
"The boosted holy water is diminishing his spirits and stamnia rapidly. Even though the phoenix that rises again from the ashes can't recovere instantly from mental damage."Akeno said
"Mental?"Koneko asked
"Mental. That is to say, his mind is not immortal."Akeno finished explained
"Asia-chan told me that demons are weak against crosses and holy water! If I boosted and used both of them simultaneously, it would inflict considerable amount of damage to a demon!"
Raiser unleashed a larger fire blast at Issei, but failed as Issie evaded by going airborne.
"Kiba-kun to expand my vision and watch the opponent!"Issei landed on the ground and combined both the holy water and cross into his gear.
"Akeno-san told me to direct my enitre aura to one area to concentrate magic! To focus my mind and feel the flow of magic!"Issei said, making Raiser panick.
"Koneko-chan told me to aim for the line of symmetry of the opponents body and try to deliver a deep, percise blow!"Issei said as his sacred gear glowys brightly.
W-Wait! Don't you understand that this marriage is important to the future of the demon race?! A kid like you who doesn't know anything shouldn't interfere!"Raiser exclaimed.
"I don't know or care about the complicated stuff! But I fuzzily remember one thing from the time you defeat me and I lost consciousness!"Issei thought deeply, remembering the tears of Rias Gremory.
"President was crying! That's enough reason for me to beat you up!"Issei charged towards Raiser and used every power he had in his fist.
"DAMN YOU!"Raiser yelled, throwing a punch at Issei.
Issei easily caught it with his right hand and tightly clenched it, making Raiser shock.
"And finally..."Issei mumbled, remembering his older brother's last words before he went unconscious.
flash back...
"Is-kun... show Raiser what you're truly made of..."Kazuma whispered his last words before he collapsed.
Flash back end...
" Ni-san taught me to never give up my will to fight for what I care for! TAKE THIS!"Issei yelled and threw a strong uppercut on Raiser's gut, causing Raiser to get lifted off the air for a second and land on his feet as he held his gut tightly from the extreme pain.
"This can't... be happening..."Raiser mumbled as he collapes to the ground.
"Oni-sama!"Ravel sprouted her wings and flew to her injured brother.
Ravel teleport with her magic circle and appear in front of Issei, guarding her older brother. Than, she saw Issei's sacred gear pointing at her.
"If you have complaints, come at me! I'm alway willing to take you on!"Issei declared, making the young phoenix shock as a patch of blush appeared on her cheeks.
"Issei-kun, you are... you are so..."Rias smiled cheerfully with teary eyes.
"The match is over."Sirzech declared
Suddenly, the whole battle field was beginning to fade away, making Issei fall while Raiser was carried by his little sister. As Issei falling into nothingness, he gets caught by Koneko.
"Thanks. Koneko-chan!"
"Good job."Akeno said
"You did it, Issei-kun."
"Well... hahaha"Issei chuckled cheerfully out of embarrassment.
"Here you go..."Koneko lifts Issei up over her.
"W-Wait, Koneko-chan, what are you doing?!"Issei asked in shock
"There..."Koneko throw Issei off into the nothingness once again.
Suddenly, he was caught by no other than, Rias Gremory.
"President?"
"Issei-kun! Thank you, Issei-kun. My Issei..."Rias mumbles as she hold him tightly into her arms.
...
Outside of the Gremory ball
After an intense fighting between Issei and Raiser, the group were all outside where Rias pulled out a card that was written with a magic circle, summoning a griffin.
"W-What!?"Issei gasped in shock
"It's a griffin."Rias explained
"Ara, ara, fufufu. Sine it's a special occasion, Issei-kun, why don't take the president for a ride."Akeno suggested
"M-Me?"Issei asked
"Good idea. May I have your accompanient?"Rias asked
"I-If you requested!"Issei replied
Issei escort Rias to the saddle, letting her take her seat while Issei rides behind her.
"We'll meet you in the club room."Issei told the group.
Then, the griffin took off into the air with Issei and Rias on it, soaring into the beautiful night sky.
...
"The griffin was meant to help him escape in the worst case scenario, though."Sirzech said
"That would have been a big problem."Grafia said
"My father and lord phoenix seemed regretful. Unfortunately, this engagment is good as broken."
"Is it really unfortunate? Your facial expression tells me otherwise."Grayfia said, seeing Sirzech smile.
"I did not imagine the welsh dragon would come over to this world."
"Pherhaps the encounter with the white vanishing dragon is not too far into the future."Grayfia said, making Sirzech nod.
"By the way, how are Kazuma-kuns injuries from his last battle, Itachi-sama"Sirzech asked, seeing Itachi appear besides them.
"Kazuma-kun has multiple severe injuries all over his body and has very low amount of chakra in him from his fight against the phoenix peerage, but he will suffice with our medical ninjas aiding him as we speak."Itachi explained
"I see... are sure it's alright to have the underworld know of your existence?"
"Yes, our time of living in the shadows has long passed. Now, it is time to show the three fractions and others our existence and hope for co-existence on each sides."Itachi explained
"Heh, I hope that it will one day come true, my friend."Sirzech smiled.
...
As Issei was enjoying the view from riding the griffin with Rias, his face was suddenly touched by her hand.
"Buchou?"
"You're an idiot. You lost your arm for someone like me..."Rias said, gently rubbing the sacred gear.
"It was a good deal. I was able to take you back like this!"
"This time it may have been cancelled, but another engagement proposal can come in any time."Rias explained
"Next time, it'll be my right arm. Then my left eye, i guess."Issei said
"Issei!"
"I'll come save you, no matter how many times. I am Rias Gremory's pawn, after all!"Issei stated
Suddenly, Rias pulled Issei to her and kissed him, making Issei's eyes widen out of shock. Rias then let go of Issei and smiled.
"That was my first kiss. Japanese girls give it alot of meaning, don't they?"Rias blushed
"Yeah they do- wait, first kiss?! Was it really okay to have your first kiss!?"
"You did a thing that was worth at least that much. It's a reward, you want my virginity too?"
"YES! I WANT IT!"Issei yelled cheerfully
"Geez... you're an honest kid with perverted thoughts too. Ufufu..."Rias giggled as she smiled at him.

Kazuma's house...
Inside of Kazuma's living room, A swirling portal appeared, revealing Tobi holding Kazuma arm over his shoulders.
"Thanks Tobi, I can do the rest from here."Kazuma reassured
"Okie dokie Kazuchokie-kun."Tobi lets go of him and gave a big pat slap on his back, making Kazuma wince in pain. Even though he was healed by the medical ninja's, his body was still hurting.
"Dammit Tobi, that hurts!"Kazuma yelled exclaimed in pain.
"Whooops, my bad. I'll see you later Kazuma-kun!"Tobi waves and disappeared into his swirling portal.
Kazuma couldn't help but sigh deeply as he rubs his back, limping up the stairs to his room. When he went into his room, he slowly unequiping each of his gear one by one as he feels sore and exhuasted from his battle againts the phoenix peerage. After he regain consciousness, his little brother's battle againts Raiser was already over, ending it with Issei's victory. He couldn't help but feel proud of him, knowing that he was becoming stronger to protect what he cares for.
Kazuma finally unequiped all of his gear and muster enough strength to take a shower. After he showered, leaving only his boxer briefs on, he tucked himself into his bed and fell asleep, leaving his mind wonder into a deep sleep.
later...
A Gremory magic circle appeared, revealing Akeno.
"Ara, ara. He's already asleep."Akeno smiled, whispered softly to herself. She didn't blame him, he fought the whole phoenix peerage by himself and won. It must have drained everything he had to pull through the battle.
Akeno than strip her clothes off, leaving herself completely naked and carefully slip into his bed, pressing her body onto his as she activates her healing magic, emitting a soft green light around them. She carefully scanned his body, seeing most of the damage was healed, but she could see that Kazuma was still in pain. She then placed her hand on top of his hard chest and gently traveling her hand to his face, softly cupping his cheek with one hand.
"I gotta say, you were impressive when you fought against Raiser-sama's peerage all by yourself. Even though you were knocked down, you still kept getting back up. I'm glad that you've survived, I wouldn't have anyone else to tease besides Issei-kun... Everyone was happy that Issei-kun had defeated Raiser-sama and brought back Rias-san home, but we also wanted to thank you for fighting for us."Akeno said softly to the sleeping Kazuma.
As Akeno gazed at him, her eyes trailed down at his lips. She felt drawn to it, wanting to taste his lips, even if it was just this once. So she slowly and carefully moved forward with only moments away of kissing him. As she was just an inch away from their lips contacting, Kazuma suddenly wrapped his arms around Akeno's body's and shifted themselves to a different position.
Akeno blushed as she was unexpectedly surprised that Kazuma got her in his arms, even though he was still asleep. She couldn't help but let out a soft giggle as she was being held tightly yet firmly in his arms. For some reason, she doesn't mind being held in his arms, it made her feel warm and funny inside.
"Ara, ara, is this what love feels like?"Akeno thought. She then carefully reached to his face again, but softly kissed his cheek this time.
"Sleep well, Kazuma-san."Akeno whispered softly into his ear and started snuggling in his chest, gaining a dust of blush on her cheeks. She didn't know rather it was love or not, but she knew for sure that she enjoys it.
...
A couple of days later...
After Issei successfully saved Rias from her engagement to Raiser, everything was back to normal... except the part where Rias has decided to live with Issei and Asia. Issei was surpised at first, but he was joyful to have Rias live with him while Asia on other hand was not so pleased.
Also, Akeno was able to find a way make Issei's arm go back to normal by draining the dragon power from his sacred gear. Even though took a while, Issei's arm was back to normal, for now...
Now, Kazuma was in the occult research club room with Akeno, Rias, and Koneko, drinking tea while playing chest against Rias.
"Ha! Try to beat that, Gremory-san."Kazuma smiled
Rias observed the chest board and smiled, making her instantly move one of her pieces to end the game.
"Checkmate."Rias smiled while Kazuma looked at the chest board and frowned
"Crap, and I was so sure that I was going to win."Kazuma slightl whined
"Better luck next time."Akeno said, making Kazuma chuckled
"Kazuma-san, are you still sore from a couple of nights ago?"Rias asked
"Nope, I'm completely healed. Thanks to a certain someone who I keep finding under my covers every morning now."Kazuma turns his eyes towards Akeno.
"Ara, ara, I was only trying to heal you, but you always wrap me into your strong arms, so I had no choice but to sleep with you. Fufufu."Akeno giggled
"Kazuma-san, shame on you for holding Akeno captive in your seductive hold."Rias teased
"Pervert..."Koneko said bluntly, eating her sweets.
Kazuma couldn't help but sigh deeply. Then, Rias suddenly hugs Kazuma.
"But, thank you, Kazuma-san... you and Issei-kun fought hard that night, and we are truly grateful."Rias smiled as she lets go of him and walks towards her window.
Suddenly, Kazuma's phone starts ringing, making him quickly pick it up.
"Yes?... Okay, I'm on it."Kazuma hangs up and starts heading out of the room.
"Mission?"Akeno asked
"Yes."
"Do you mind if I join?"
"Sure, but I must warn you. One of my fellow ninjas is joining us as well and he could be a little annoying during a mission."Kazuma replied
"Ara, ara, I don't mind at all. Fufufu."Akeno replied
Both Kazuma and Akeno left the room together.
As Rias gazes outside of the window, she spots Issei and his friends near the tree. Issei turns his head at Rias, smiling at her. She replied back with a smile as well, knowing that he will be right by her side.
Finally, I have finished the phoenix arc! I mean wow, I think this will be the longest chapter that I have ever made so far and man has this chapter took so long me for me to work on.
Alright, lets get down to the other topic. I have gotten a couple of questions about Kazuma having the seven or eight headed dragon called, Yamata no Orochi inside of him? Well you guessed right! But, I don't want to spoil anymore about it as it is because the holy sword arc will explain.
Next, I am also deciding to put this story as a crossover, even though it's mainly high school dxd with a Xover of characters added, it would probably be best to change the category to crossover. So, when I post the next chapter out, I will also update the story itself as well.
