I'm back with chapter 30 of my wonderful story! Please R&R and I shal see you at the bottom of the page.

POV: Lucy, Natsu

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail

Strumming my fingers on the wooden desk, I stare uninterested to the front of the class where Professor Justine is giving his lecture for the day. He's reading a passage from one of the many books he owns, I forogot what the title of the story is, and his voice drones on in a monotonous tone lulling half the class into a peaceful slumber. I feel my head bob a few times as I try to keep my eyes open wondering when this class is going to end. English has always been one of my favorite subjects, but this teacher has really shot, murdered, and beaten it to death before my very eyes.

Sighing, I look to my right to find both Gray and Natsu knocked dead at their desks and I can practically hear both males snoring. Gray wakes up with a start and searches the classroom as if waiting to be attacked before he rubs his eyes while yawning in the process. I try to stifle my own yawn when I notice the raven haired boy look on over at the pinkette with a mischievious glint in his eye. Before I know it Gray pulls out a black marker from his desk and waits for the professor to turn his back to us as he writes something on the board when Gray dives towards Natsu.

His back blocks most of my view so I wait for only a few seconds before he runs back to his seat just when Mr. Justine turns back around reading the last of the chapter he had been lecturing on for the past hour..Curiously, I dare a glance at the still sleeping pinkette and cough back a laugh that has me clutching my mouth with my hands so that the teacher won't hear me. Levy hears my cough and turns to see what amuses me before her eyes land on the oblivious sleeping boy before she snorts so loud that she causes a few heads to turn.

We both sit in our seats continuing to clutch our mouths to try to keep silent and I can feel my face turn red as I try to swallow down my laughs. Tears start forming at the corners of my eyes as I choke back another laugh when Gajeel passes be with two hair ties and puts two pony tails on top of Natsu's head. Most of the class roars in a fit of giggles and I have to clutch my stomach from the pain of my silent laughter. Even Mr. Justine braves a small smile that only lasts for a minute before he starts assigning homework based on the chapter he just read, a chapter none of us clearly paid attention to.

Suddenly, all too soon, a pair of amber eyes shoots open and said teen stands up immediately with a serious look in his eye causing the entire class to grow silent. With a swing of his fist, Natsu punches Gray on the side of his head while muttering, "This is all your fault, you damn stripper," before his eyes roll back into his skull and he collapses back into his chair as he snores away again with a content smile adorning his childish face.

"DID HE JUST WAKE UP TO START A FIGHT?!" Gray hollers while holding his swollen cheek as the class continues to laugh. I'm very surprised that the noise doesn't even cause the strange boy to stir in his sleep.

Eventually the bell rings signaling the end of our first block and I quickly gather up my things to get ready for my next class. Beside me, Natsu stirs before he opens his eyes with a loud yawn and searches the room looking clearly confused. He scratches his neck as he reads what's been written on the white board at the front of the class as I stand up and shyly walk over to him.

"Here," I say timidly while holding out one of my make-up wipes towards him and he stares at me curiously and confused, "You have a little... something on your face," I say while making a curcular motion around his puzzled face with the wipe still in my hand.

He takes the wipe staring at me before muttering a low, "Thanks." He looks at me for a few seconds and some kind of recollection comes to him as his eyes darken a bit with sadness. He ducks his head, looking down at his desk with the same dismal look adorning his face and an image of last night pops into my head.

I shake my head when I hear the warning bell ring signaling that I'm late and I quickly move towards the hallway, "I'll... see you around," I call behind me a bit awkwardly, but I never hear a reply as I race out of the room and down the hall toward my second class.

The last thing I hear before I turn the last corner is the sound of a crash and an angry voice crying out, "DAMN YOU GRAY!"

I trudge on forward, my head ducked into my scarf, as I just barely listen to what the guys are going on about behind me. I watch a few storefronts pass by noticing a few already pulling out their Halloween decorations even when the holiday is only a month away. I start thinking on what I should dress up as this year and wind up with the idea of just staying at home doing nothing but watch scary movies alone and gorge myself with store-bought canyd.

"Don't tell me you're still mad from this morning," Gray asks while bumping me with his shoulder and I glare over at him before looking away with a huff. He laughs along with Gajeel as they both pat me on the back and I try to hold myself from swinging a well deserved punch in their direction. The last thing I want is to have the police come after me for starting a public fiht, again.

We continue to walk on, the boys all clearly ignoring my grumbling, and we pass on towards the building we usually gather around to pick up our orders. I look up at the simple burgundy apartment complex, my eyes roaming against the brick walls with endless amount of windows and fire escape metal ladders that decorate the side of the building whithin the alley that we're heading towards. It's dark and hard to see but we find the single metal door with the Fairy Tail symbol above the door which can only be seen in the light of day.

Gajeel looks up and down the alley and we do the same as he knocks on the door three times before the metal door opens with a creak allowing us to enter. I hold back and continue to watch in case there was anyone who was following us and after a minute passes I duck through the door while closing and locking it tightly behind me.

I look around which is basically the building's basement. Its gray cement walls shine under the flourescent lights that hang over our heads and the walls are empty other than a few pictures, maps, and the insignia painted at the far back of the room. A few bookshelves line the walls holding more rolled up maps, scrolls, books, and other trinkets that Juvia always seems to find a use of. Near the back of the room before the insignia is a small round wooden table where we usually always hold our meeting with mismatched chairs surrounding it. Near the front of the room are a full three seat tan couch, a mahogany love seat, and green lazy boy that's so torn up its stuffing is pouring out llike an erupted volcano. It also has patches of duct tape covering some of the holdes that had been made some time ago. Juvia has tried to convince us to get rid of the recliner, but Gajeel puts up a good fight seeming as he's the one who brought it in and is the only loser who sits on it. A few doors on the wall lead off into other rooms that hold weapons, even more maps and paper work, and a single spare room with a full on bed set that hardly anyone ever uses along with a full funtioning restroom full with tub and shower. In the center of the circle of couches is a rectangular coffee table that has different legs on it making it look like it came out of a wacky Alive in Wonderland book.

As I survey the room I feel a hand fall lightly on my shoulder and I turn to find Juvia giving me a worried look, "Are you alright?" she ass and it doesn't take rocket science to understand what she's asking, "I heard you had returned some time ago, you had left so soon that i wasn't able to say goodbye or see you off," She goes on while keeping her firm hand on my shoulder and her expression growing distressed, "How are you taking things with..."

"I'm fine," I cut her off not wanting to hear her name while shrugging her hand off of my shoulder as I head towards the nearby couch. I throw myself down on the cushions of the tan beat up couch taking up the entire space while tucking my hands behind my head, "Seriously Juvia, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me so much," I say as I stare up at the cement ceiling unwilling to continue to look into her worried dead eyes, eyes that have seen far more tragedy than mine.

Staring at the ceiling, my thoughts are instantly plagued with what I saw last night. Loke walking Lucy home, hand in hand, and her smiling so care free was enough to make my heart ache. The light in her eyes weren't as bright as when I had first met her, but they were brighter than when I had left her in the hospital that night. As I watch them from the shadows I couldn't help but hear their conversation about this being her senior year, or about him proposing to her without even waiting for her to answer, or even when he stole that kiss and left her blushing on her doorstep before he disappeared. At that instant my world came tumbling down in an avalanche of emotions that I could not control, and as much as I wanted to go after that damn red-head, all I could really do was watch him drive off with a promise of a future I could not grant.

I hear shuffling to my right but I can't see over the back of the couch and I hear Gray ask, "Is there anyody new we need to look for," completely changing the subject and I send him a silent thank you for bringing me out of y pinstaking thoughts also knowing well that Juvia would keep on at it until someone told her to stop. Even then she'd probably keep on asking.

Juvia's heels click against the cement floors of the basement and stop to where Gray must be standing at near the 'conference table' as more paper shuffling is heard, "No," her monotonous voice answers curtly, "But there is speculation that Wakaba Mine is one of them."

"OLD WAKABA?!" Both Gray and Gajeel cry out and I can't help feel my eyes almost bulge out of my skull at the news. It's not odd or uncommon to discover that people we know are one of the outsiders we hunt down, but it doesn't make the job any easier.

"I didn't know old people turned that way too," Gajeel grunts from his recliner next to me, his heavily pierced arms crossed across his chest and his legs resting up on the nearby coffee table.

"Like I said, there's just speculation on that," Juvia says, sounding annoyed, "There's also word that members from Eisenwald have been spotted in the nearby villages. This is the closest they've ever been near Magnolia in years," she comments, her face looking over the back of the couch and glaring down at me making me shiver in fear, "I wonder why they'd be so close?"

Closing my eyes and sighing deeply, I sit up and pinch the bridge of my nose, "So I'm presuming that the old man already told you," I open my eyes and her eyes flare at e more while the guys just stare at me with no real emotion on their faces.

"What happened Salamander?" Gajeel asks, his gruff voice filled with sincere wonder.

"Well for starters it wasn't my fault," I say while looking on over at the door wanting nothing more than to bolt, "I had been out on a job with Lyon, "I hear Gray grumble something but I ignore him, "We bumped into Eisenwald and he instantly started to pick a fight with their leader Erigor. While Erigor was fighting against Lyon that guy , what was his name, Kageyama? Well he recognized me from the whole lulluby fiasco and they started picking a fight with me,"

"I hope they don't start anything here in Magnolia," Juvia whispers from behind me and the others agree with her making small comments on what they think would happen if they were to enter Magnolia.

Me, I don't necessarily care, as long as she doesn't et involved in any of this, I could care less.

So that was the chapter and we got to delve (Don't know if I spelled that correctly) into Natsu's mind for a bit. I hope you all enjoyed it because I must say that I am proud of this chapter.

On another note I want to thank you all from the bottom of my twisted Demon Heart. I hadn't noticed this before until one of my Fantabulous reviewers pointed out that they are my 101 reviewer (yes Reallyfanofstories, I'm looking at you). I have sincerely not noticed how many follwers, favorites, and reviews I've gotten until just recently. Also I'm on chapter 30. I just want to thank you all so much and I hope that you all stick with me till the end because I promise that I will not give up on this story. Cyber kisses and hugs to all of you my lovelies.

Well enough of my ramblings, here are my shout outs for you my lovely readers.

And to all of my Fantabulous reviwers...

BeastlyTick59 - Dude I understand about the whole band practice thing. I get up at around six to be at the band hall by seven and I even sometimes have practice after school until seven, although we didn't get our music until like three weeks ago and have had very little practice and our concert is this Thursday. BTW how was your concert? I hope it went by well.

CelestialWizard - I'm glad you liked it and it is indeed a good question.

Sara lovelymusic - Well that's too bad. I actually like the whole Lolu idea, but you're lucky enough that Lucy will end up with Natsu instead due to some serious circumstances.

FanFictionLeon - And more you shall get, though my posting days still vary, and yes the bomb approaches.

Codevivi - I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying my story. I know that Nalu moments are limited, trust me they're killing me as well, but when they come I promise to make them worthwhile. That's the whole thing I'm going around with Lucy forgetting Natsu, and at the back of her mind his memory is still there trying to break out. In the next chapter Lucy's going to start remembering a bit through her dreams that she'll just pass off as nightmares like i did in the beginning of this story but the nightmares will revolve around that fateful night. Once I write a good suspenseful chapter from my new story I promise to send you and anyone else who would like a sneak peek.

Reallyfanofstories - Thank you and trust me, the feeling is mutual. I'm driving my own blade through my chest everytime I hold back on Nalu moments and all the twisted mind games. Also immense thank you's for being by 101.

Well that's all the shout outs for today.

On another note, if you'd all like a small sneek peek review or PM me and I'll send it to you, but only if you review or PM saying you'd like a sneek peek, but fair warning, it's a heartbreaking piece of work so dive on your own risk.

Anywho, If you are enjoying my story so far please Follow, Favorite, and Review - remember, reviews are a writers candy - and if you have any ideas or questions you'd like to see put into the story you can also PM me and I'll gladly add it in the story.

Until next time my lovelies.
