I'm back with chapter 32 of my wonderfuly suspenseful story. Please R&R and I shall see you at the bottom of the page.

POV: Lucy, Lucy, Narrator

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail

Yawning, I cover my mouth while trying to keep myself from falling asleep right there where I'm sitting on my desk. I can hear the small hum of the students around me and it only helps to lull me to fall asleep as I feel my head bob forward wanting nothing more than to rest on my clearly uncomfortable desk.

"Miss Heartfelia," I jump when I feel a firm hand on my shoulder and look up to find Professor Justine looking down at me with his piercing blue eye that isn't covered by his long green hair. For a short instant we're no longer in the classroom if not out in the rain with thunder and lightning blinding me. The image lasts for only a split second, but it's enough to leave me feeling cold and uncomfortable, "Miss Heartfelia, are you alright?"

I look around the room at all of the staring eyes noticing a pair of amber ones trained to the front of the class clearly looking uninterested and bored. For some odd reason this leaves a bad taste in my mouth, "I-I'm fine," I stutter while feeling my cheeks grow warm from the unwanted attention.

Without another word, Mr. Justine straightens up and walks back to the front of the room and when he passes by me I feel a chill run up my spine. I then look over at Levy who gives me a worried look and I just smile to reassure her that I'm fine, but she doesn't look at all convinced. For the rest of the hour I spend it with my head ducked and my eyes fixed on my work that I can't seem to finish no matter how much I try. My mind keeps going back to the awful nightmare that has plagued my dreams for the last week. That's right; it's been an entire week since my first dreadful nightmare and each night it only seems to get worse and worse. It's gotten to the point where I'm too afraid to fall asleep that instead I spend most of the dark hours reading or studying for exams that are still weeks away.

The bell rings overhead signaling the end of class and I sit up not realizing that I had fallen asleep again. I look over in time to find Levy standing out of her seat and heading towards me with her hands on her hips, "What's wrong Lucy," She asks seeming to go straight to the point, "You've been acting weird all week and also have been falling asleep in all of your classes."

"Yeah kid, what's up with that?" Cana also asks as she wraps a thin arm around Levy's slender shoulders, "Have you been out clubbing without inviting us?"

"Be serious Cana, Lucy's still underage," Erza interjects with her arms crossed across her chest disapprovingly at the brunette before me.

"It's never stopped me before,"

"Guy's, I'm fine," I say while waving my hands in front of me to keep them from bickering with one another, "Really, I'm ok."

"Lucy," Cana says with a serious look on her somewhat sober face, which in truth is very rare, "You look like shit, and that's something coming from me," the girls all nod, each holding a worried expression of their own.

Groaning, I pick up my books from my desk and place them in my bag before I stand while slinging my bag onto my shoulder, "Sorry for worrying you guys, I just haven't been getting much sleep lately," I say with a tired sigh, "But I'm ok, honest," I smile at them and wave before heading out the door while calling out, "See you at lunch," before ducking out through the door completely oblivious to the pair of curious amber eyes trained to my retreating back.

"Nightmares?" Lisanna asks through a bite of her sandwich, "What kind of nightmares?"

I shrug looking out onto the field where most of the guys are playing soccer during their lunch hour instead of eating, "I don't really know, I can't remember what happens once I wake up," I lie knowing far too well every detail within those horrifying dreams. Also, there's a small eerie feeling at the back of my head that keeps telling me to not say too much.

Odd.

"How long have they been happening?" Levy asks from the bleacher seat right under me, her eyes focused on her boyfriend who is among the group of rambunctious boys.

"About a week," I mutter through my straw as I sip on my packet of punch and they all gasp as if I had just dupmed a bucket of ice cold water on them.

Before any of them can comment or complain on my silence, we all hear loud yelling that has us looking on over at the nearby field. From where we sit I can clearly see both Gray and Natsu forehead to forehead, both with their nostrils flaring and eyes burning with a deep passionate hate. They're yelling and shoving each other, their words clearly incomprehensible through their inhuman snarling, and it isn't long before Natsu throws the first punch hitting Gajeel square in the face once ray ducks to avoid it. Gray then crashes into Elfman, who then steps on the foot of a classmate, I believe his name is Max Alors, and before I know it everyone is ganging up on each other in the middle of the field.

We watch the fight expectantly while Cana and Lisanna each put on bets as to who they think will be the last one standing among the fighting crowd. I even get surprised when I see a flash of bright red amongst the large expanse of males noticing Erza throwing punches and kicks like a true martial arts master, though I don't believe she's ever mentioned on knowing martial arts before. I deadpan wondering what other mysterious secrets the redhead has yet to allow me to discover.

Looking back over at Cana, who is still rooting for random guys as if she were at a wrestling match, I notice something on her left forearm that looks to be like a fading scar. My head then begins to throb a bit from the familiarity of the scar, but no matter how much I try to remember from where I've seen that scar before my mind keeps on drawing a blank. Actually, since the nightmares started, my head has been throbbing nonstop as if my mind were trying to remember something that I've forgotten, but what? It's gotten so frustrating trying to figure out what any of it meant that I've come close to asking my grandfather for help, but for some odd reason a strange force has kept me from doing just that.

"Hey Lucy, let's go to class. I doubt the guys are going to stop any time soon and if we wait for them to finish we might end up being late to class," Levy suggests and I nod while packing my forgotten lunch with my one good hand and then proceed to follow her down the bleachers.

As I descend, I make sure to watch where I'm going, in case I take a turn for the worse again, and step safely on the soft ground below. I follow Levy away from the field towards the school taking notice on how cold the weather is turning out to be. I should probably start bringing a jacket instead of a thin sweater to school and grandfather will probably start demanding Laxus to dive me to school instead of letting me walk like I usually do. Loke will probably offer me rides when he can, which reminds me, tomorrow he's supposed to pick me up after school so that he can drop me off at the hospital since I'm finally getting my cast off tomorrow.

Through my thick train of thought, I fail - once again - to notice my shoe hit something hard that's protruding from the ground until it's too late. Losing my balance, I cry out wondering through my untimely descent on when it would be the day that I would stop being so clusy. I swear that one day I'm going to be on a rooftop and knowing my luck I'll probably trip to my death, though I pray that that never happens.

"Whoa there," A gruff voice says as a pair of arms catch me by my shoulders before I fall any futher, "Are you ok?"

Standing up straight with the help of the stranger, I nod and smile as I look up at my savior, "Yeah, thanks," My eyes meet dark onyx as I look at the boy in front of me who is still somewhat holding onto my shoulders seeming to make sure that I've got my footing before letting go.

The boy in front of me is fairly tall with dark black hair that's tied up into a spiky ponytail. He's wearing the school's standard uniform, a dark royal blue blazar with gold trimming and the school's insignia embroidered on the left breast with a white dress shirt underneath and comleteling the look is a pair of black slack and black dress shoes. Although his appearance clearly says Fairy Tail, his aura seems to say slightly otherwise and I've also come to notice that I've never seen him before around the school. He's probably a transfer student from out of town or something.

"You should be careful and watch where you're walking," he says with a kind warm smile.

"So I've been told," I grimace earning me a small laugh from the joyful looking teen.

"I'm sure you have," he agrees still chuckling a bit, "Well it was nice to meet you Miss..."

Blinking, I look over at the boy's outstretched hand before it dawns on me that he's asking me for my name, "Oh, uh, Lucy, my name's Lucy," I stammer while shaking his hand.

"Lucy, huh?" He asks with an inquisitive look on his face, "Well it was nice to mee you Lucy," he says with a wave and starts walking away with his hands stuffed into the pockets of his pants heading the opposite way of where I'm heading to.

"W-Wait," I call out just before he's too far to hear me, "I didn't catch your name,"

The dark haired boy turns, looking a bit confused, before his bright smile returns, "How rude of me, my name's Kageyama," and with one last wave he walks on toward another side entrance to the school seeming to be heading towards class.

"LUCY!" I turn to find Levy looking impatient as she waves from a few meters away, "Hurry or we're going to be late."

Taking one last look to where Kageyama had disappeared into the school, I rush on over to where my best friend is waiting for me so that we can head towards class together.

From the entrance of the school, black eyes follow the young blonde as she retreats into the safety of the school. The young man smiles a menacing smile, all warmth and kindness gone, as he pulls out his phone from his pocket and rings up the leader in charge of him while he waits patiently for the insistent ringing to be replaced with a familiar haunting voice. By the third ring someone picks up on the other end making the young boy's smile widen, "I found her," he mutters into the speaker as he waits for the reply.

"Good, continue to observe her. We'll send further instructions soon,"a dark voice says causing the teen to groan in frustration. He was seriously growing tired of waiting. Any longer and those Fairy Tail Flies would no doubt catch him sneaking around their territory.

"Alright," He groans, "Just don't take too long," and with that he ends the call.

Stuffing the small phone back into his pant's pocket, Kageyama looks back out onto the empty field where he had previously been standing with the pretty blonde. His annoyed grimace then turns into a sadistic smile, "Well Miss Lucy Heartfelia," he says to the silence before him, "You're in for quite a surprise of a lifetime," and with that he too retreats into the large building.
