Disclaimer, you know.

Alex's eyes snapped open and the scepter began glowing brightly. Alex knew what had happened, he knew he had got her.

Meanwhile at the palace

"Glinda, you have company." Dorothy heard as the usual feelings stopped.

Immediately Dorothy felt the sack she was in get thrown against the wall and fall open as she shook her head. Glinda gasped and scooped Dorothy in her arms.

"Have fun you two." The jester said slamming the door leaving them almost in complete darkness.

"Dorothy, he got you too." Glinda said with tears in her eyes.

"Glinda, please, it's my own fault, I stood still for too long." Dorothy replied.

"Dorothy, if I could reach my pockets I could turn you back, but he said as soon as I do, he'll lock you up someplace else." Glinda said

"So you can pick me up but you can't reach your pockets?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"These chains are just too short." Glinda said. Referring to the chains around her wrists.

"Glinda, if I change back, I'll be able to run from him." Dorothy replied.

"Dorothy, you're the one who has to end this, it's either you or him, now that he has you in the palm of his hand, he won't let you go." Glinda replied.

"What about the others?" Dorothy asked worriedly.

"Ellie's power, l-looking in on us, I feel it." Glinda replied.

Meanwhile back at the mansion.

"come on Alex, there's nothing you can do about it right now." Aislynn said walking over to Alex who was sitting on the bed upstairs

"Ace is right Alex, we're all as…" scarecrow said trailing off before he started something.

"Scarecrow, you'll never truly know, neither of us will." Aislynn replied.

"Ace, be quiet, I have a headache from my fall earlier." Alex said.

Aislynn sighed and took scarecrow by the hand. Dragging him out of the room. As they walked away Ellie passed them and into the room. She saw Alex and sighed. She then walked over to the bed and sat down next to him.

"Well, I have good news." Ellie said

"Is she alright?" Alex asked curiously.

"Both my sister and Dorothy are fine, Dorothy hasn't been changed back yet, but she's alive." Ellie replied.

"Thank goodness." Alex said sighing with relief.

"You want some alone time?" Ellie asked curiously

"Some peace and quiet would be nice." Alex said lying down on the bed.

"I understand." Ellie said getting up only to find Alex holding down her leg.

"I didn't say I wanted to be alone." Alex said as a tear rolled down his face.

"You're blaming yourself aren't you?" Ellie asked worriedly.

Alex nodded causing Ellie to sigh. She then smiled and closed her eyes. She found that Glinda had her own eyes closed.

Meanwhile back at the palace

Glinda had eventually nodded off and Dorothy was left sitting on Glinda's lap. She really wanted to get back to being herself, but odds are she'd never be able to use it to change herself back. It wasn't until she was looking around that she noticed sometime glint in Glinda's lowest dress pocket. Dorothy hit at it with her paw. Eventually a vial of golden fluid clinked against the floor.

"Ah-ha!" Dorothy exclaimed triumphantly.

"Ah-ha is right, but you've given me an advantage." Came the jester's voice as he picked up the vial and then grabbed Dorothy by the scruff of the neck.

Glinda's eyes immediately snapped open and darted towards the jester. The first thing she saw was the vial then Dorothy in the jester's hand. She then found herself being tied up and unchained. A flying monkey then picked her up and began carrying her.

"I now have you both exactly in a position I need you two in, come on, tomorrow she's changing back, and if she tries to run, I'll send my new hound on her." the jester said as they left the room.

Well Dorothy, you're in trouble now. What will the jester do to her once he's changed her back to normal? And what will Alex do when he finds out? Find out in the next chapter. Also yes, I know this chapter was short but I needed a Segway between chapters.
