I walked through the living room to the kitchen, where white corded phone was. I dialed Ashley's cell.
"Yeah hello?" she asked.
"Ashley?"
"Lily?"
"Yeah I'm calling from a friend of my dad's."
"Oh. Where are you what happened are you ok?"
"Well, I'm at her place. Diane's. She's my dad's friend. I'll be staying here a few days."
"Oh."
"I'm not ok."
"What happened?"
"I.....I don't want to tell you over the phone."
"Oh."
