POV: Natsu

I look around the room moving my gaze from face to face of each person sitting around the small beat up wooden table. I tighten my arms around my chest as the tension in the air makes the hairs at the back of my neck stand on end. Even my eye starts to twitch which only means that this meeting isn't going to be all that pleasant.

Across from the table, master Makarov sits in his usual high chair with his short legs crossed under him and his arms crossed across his chest. His eyes are closed in what seems like deep concentration and the deep prominent veins on his forehead can vouch just how annoyed or worried he may be. It's also a sign that we're probably not going to like what he's going to tell us.

"What have you called us here for master," Juvia, ever the voice of reason, speaks up from my right with her usual emotionless mask set in place.

All eyes move from Juvia towards the master whose eyes are now downcast. He looks almost sad.

Eventually he looks up and looks at us one by one starting from Loke, who hasn't said a word since he got here with Jellal not too long, and moves his eyes over to his grandson who stares down at the table. Makarov's dark eyes then move on towards Gajeel, then me, then Juvia, then Gray, then Chelia, and then all three members of the Thunder God Tribe. Lastly he looks on over at both Gildarts and Porlyusica who both seem as if they don't want to be here.

Just about all of the members from Fairy Tail are here, excluding both Laxus and my dad. Chelia has even been invited to the meeting even though she works for Lamia Scale. It was a surprise to see her when I first walked into the room, but it was an even bigger surprise to see everyone from Fairy Tail gathered up in one room. The last time we had everyone with us like this was just after my dad fought against Acnologia two years ago.

"Reports," Makarov's voice wavers a bit as he shouts out the command and as if a switch has been turned on everyone begins to talk one by one.

"No new astral bodies have been found and the hospital records show nothing of any coma patients," Porlyusica says bitterly from right beside the master.

"No new injuries being reported at school. So far the students are healthy, but we can't really be sure how they'll be once thanksgiving vacations are over," Gildarts says sounding bored.

"Erza is recovering quickly and she should be getting out of the hospital on the day before Thanksgiving," Jellal says while keeping his eyes on the table.

"Not much information has been given concerning the members of Eisenwald who escaped," Chelia says sounding far more mature than her appearance shows, "Kageyama continues to remain silent, but we're more than certain he knows who broke into HQ. He's already been sent over to Lamia Scale so that Sherry can…"

"Kageyama is gone," Everyone's eyes snap over to Juvia who pulls out a file from her bag and throws the folder onto the table with that calm expression which never fails to creep me out, "The vehicle he was being transported over to Lamia Scale was attacked this morning. So far there is no news of his whereabouts or if he is even still alive."

"What do you mean his vehicle was attacked?!" Gray shouts while slamming his hands down on the table, "I thought Jura and Lyon had him?"

"Are Jura and Lyon alright?" Chelia cries while also slamming her hands down on the table and looking at Juvia with tear filled eyes.

"They're fine, they were just ambushed but they don't really know by who. They said that by the time they regained consciousness Kageyama was already gone. They also said that the door to the back of the truck had been ripped open and the chains holding him in were shattered. So far that's all we have on any leads."

Both Gray and Chelia sigh in relief at the news that both men were unharmed. No doubt that after this meeting ends Gray would likely call his brother and most likely his mother to tell her what happened. I wonder what that woman is capable of doing one she finds out that one of her kids was hurt, even if it wasn't life or death.

"Leave the investigation to Lamia Scale, Kageyama was in their hands anyway," Master Makarov mutters as he turns to look over at the young pinkette, "And you Chelia should probably refrain from going home just yet. The last thing I need is for another hunter to be attacked." Chelia nods quietly as Gray lightly pats her back in a comforting gesture as gramps speaks up again sounding tired and old, "Anything else that needs to be discussed?"

Silence envelops the room as everyone looks around at each other with no new news to report. It isn't until I sit up that I get the courage to speak up, "Igneel's back," I say while looking across the table at the master whose dark eyes widen in surprise, "I saw him at the hospital this morning when I went to go visit him."

"Did you get him?" Gajeel asks sounding stunned even though his posture clearly shows how bored he is.

"No. I caught his scent when I went into his room and followed it up to the fourth floor where I found him getting into an empty elevator. I was so shocked to see him that I froze and he got away."

"Was there someone with him?" Juvia asks while placing a light pale hand on my arm. For once since this meeting began her voice has a hint of emotion.

I shake my head suddenly feeling really angry. Not at Juvia but at my dad, "He was alone when I found him, but if there had been someone with him they were already long gone. I tried chasing him, but he disappeared not too long after. It was almost as if he hadn't even been there to begin with."

Makarov nods as he unfolds his arms and pulls out a file from under the table before sliding it over towards Gildarts, "Gildarts, you and the Thunder God Tribe will be in charge of scouring Magnolia for Igneel. If I'm correct he's still somewhere within its borders so it's up to you to find him. Once you do find him, kill him. He's been in astral form for too long and I don't want to take the chance for his body to degenerate," the afore mentioned group nods in unison already standing from their seats to leave, "Porlyusica…"

"I'll check the security recordings from the hospital and see what I can find while also keeping an eye out for Miss Scarlet," the old woman cuts in while standing up as well to leave, "I'll take Miss Lockster with me so that she can help with the investigation."

"Loke, Jellal, I want you both to also keep an eye out for not just Igneel but for any other astral bodies that might be lurking around. Everyone knows that if there's one astral body around there are more in hiding," both males nod while also taking their leave, "The rest of you can go back to your posts and also keep an eye out, and if you so happen to confront Igneel Dragneel call for backup before proceeding to attack," we all stand up while nodding as we head to the door relieved that we get to leave already, "Oh and Natsu, I want you to answer me one last question before you leave." I turn around to look at Makarov who glares at me with accusation and I can only dread as I wonder what I did now.

"What is it gramps?" I ask feeling my heart pick up speed even though I'm more than certain that I haven't done anything wrong for a while now.

"Natsu… where's your scarf?"

Oh crud.

370 days. That's how long it's been since I first updated this story last year. I still can't believe it's been that long and I'm amazed at how long this story turned out to be. At first I had planned on it being being short, but as the story progressed I just got more and more ideas and thanks to all of your support I've been able to get this far.

I just want to give a special shout out to those readers who've stuck with me this entire year, you know who you are, and also to those who have started reading my story from beginning till now. Thank you Thank you THANK YOU! I hope you all continue to stick with me till the end and hopefully I'll be seeing you in my next projects.
