A/N: Hey :) So, from now on the chapters are going to be in Daisy's point of view unless I write Alice/Jasper POV at the top...hope you like the Daisy POV! And on with the chapter...

27. Celebrations and Homecomings

"Heyyyy Mama, you know what today is?" I asked, sidling up to Alice when we were alone in the kitchen.

"Yes!" She said with a squeal, "Five weeks since the day I got pregnant."

"The day you might have gotten pregnant." I correct her. I know she's excited but I hate how much she's got her hopes up. It's the first time I've tried using my gift, and I could have totally failed. And even if my gift did work, it could take months of trying to conceive a baby. Although, according to Alice and Jasper I was conceived first time trying. I push the thoughts out of my mind because, really, it's my parents having sex and it's creepy.

"Well, it's been five weeks since the day I might have gotten pregnant," She said, "So we can get Carlisle to check me out and find out for certain." She grabbed me and spun me around the room, "I've got a great feeling about this, Daisy-May!"

Alice only used my full name when she was extremely angry or extremely excited.

"When's grandpa back from work?" I asked. Alice glanced at the clock on the wall.

"Any minute now!" She says, squealing again, "Daisy I'm so excited!"

"I couldn't tell." I told her. She doesn't pick up on the sarcasm.

"Another baby! You're going to have a baby brother or sister! Which do you think it'll be? Another girl would be just darling of course, but if it was a boy then I'd have one of each. Then again, if it's a boy then he won't want to play in the castle or with any of your old toys, so a girl would be better really. Although, it it were a boy, that would mean I'd get to go shopping for all new toys!" She babbled, "I want both! Oh, what if it's twins? A boy and another girl! Wouldn't that be fantastic!?"

"Mom, calm down! We don't even know if there's one baby yet, let alone twins!" I said, biting my lip. She really needed to bring her expectations back down, it was making me nervous. I saw clouds appearing outside and tried to supress my emotions. I was slowly learning to control my weather gift, but my emotions still played a huge part in it. Jazz was helping me, but of course Jazz wasn't here.

"I'm sorry, honey, I'm just so happy!" Alice said, flitting around the kitchen. She was baking again, something that she had taken to doing a lot since Bella gave her a few tips, "I want a little kiddie to take care of so badly! Don't get me wrong, I love you to pieces, but you're almost all grown up and you hardly need me anymore!"

"I'll always need you, Mama." I told her, kissing her on the cheek.

"I know, I know." She said, before her voice turned all cutesy and squeaky, "But think of a little ickle baby! It'll be running round the house like-"

"Shh!" I said as the front door opened and Jazz walked in.

"Jasper!" Alice squealed, jumping into his arms.

"Someone's in a good mood." He commented.

"I am in a good mood." She said with a grin.

"Can I ask why?" He asked. I catch Alice's eye and shake my head. He can't know yet; not until we're certain there's a baby to tell him about.

"I made fairy cakes!" Alice told him, "Daisy's going to help me decorate them."

Carlisle walked through the door then and Alice and I shared a look. Now was the time.

"Actually, Jazz, we need some more glitter." I told him, "If you wouldn't mind going back out.

"Glitter?" Jasper asked with a confused look.

"Edible glitter." Alice chimed in, "Preferably pink."

Jasper rolled his eyes, "Anything for my princesses."

He kissed us both on the cheek before leaving again in search of edible glitter. As soon as we hear his car pulling away, Alice and I jump on Carlisle, "We need you, Grandpa."

"What's up?" He asked.

"I'm pregnant!" Alice blurted out.

"Maybe." I added.

Carlisle looks between us, "Dana?"

"Daisy!" Alice cries with a laugh, "She inherited the gift and she made me pregnant!"

"Maybe." I added again, "We're not sure yet."

"I know it's worked." Alice said as she leads the way up to Carlisle's medical room, "I can feel it. A mother knows."

I rolled my eyes as I followed her upstairs, but I didn't say anything. I guess we were about to find out whether my gift really worked or not...

Alice lay down on the bed and lifted up her shirt so that Carlisle could perform the scan. It only took a few minutes and then Carlisle was smiling at Alice, and then at me, and then back at Alice. "Congratulations, Alice, you're going to be a Mom...again."

"You know what? We need to go shopping." Alice said, almost as soon as we were out of Carlisle's medical room.

"Right now?" I asked.

"Yes! We've gotta start early, you know!" She said.

"True, I guess." I said. I wasn't going to stand here and make excuses; I loved shopping.

We're almost out of the front door when it opens and Jasper walks in, "Were you heading out? I got the glitter."

"Glitter?" We both look at him blankly.

"For the cakes?" He prompted.

"The cakes!" Alice cried, "I completely forgot!"

We rush to the kitchen where smoke is billowing from the oven. Alice swears, which she hardly ever does, and pulls the tray of now blackened cakes out of the oven.

"What were you doing that made you forget the cakes you made not twenty minutes ago?" Jasper asked her.

Alice and I exchanged a look, knowing that we could tell him now. Alice grins, "Let's tell everyone together. The others will be home soon."

"Tell everyone what?" Jasper asked.

"You'll see." Alice said, kissing his cheek and leaving him hanging.

We leave him in suspense for another half an hour until every member of the family was home. Then Alice bounced around ushering them all into the living room. She was high as a kite, giggling and grinning at everyone.

Everyone was sat down, waiting expectantly for Alice's "super big news". She's hardly able to keep still and I'm not sure she'll even be able to speak coherently. She shrieks and then blurts out, "I'm pregnant again!"

"What? Alice, oh my god!" Bella hugs her, and Esme soon joins in too. Then Emmett grabs her and Edward congratulates her, Carlisle smiles and Renesmee starts chatting excitedly. Then I realise that Jasper is just staring.

"Jazz?" I said, and Alice looks over at him, also realizing that he hasn't spoken.

"You didn't tell me." He said, "That you were trying to get pregnant."

Alice's face fell, "Aren't you happy? Don't you want another baby?"

"Of course I do!" Jasper said, "I couldn't be happier about the fact that you're pregnant. It would have been nice to have been involved in the decision though - or even told."

"Jazz-" Alice tried.

"Why do you always do things behind my back, and then expect it to be fine when you spring them on me?" Jasper asked.

"I-I don't understand." Alice said, wounded, "You're mad at me?"

"No, I'm not mad at you." Jasper said, but his voice said otherwise, "But you should have told me!"

"Jazz, it was my fault. I asked her not to tell you anything." I cut in. I hated it when they argued, especially knowing now that it was my fault.

"Why would you ask her to do that?" Jasper asked.

I shrugged, "I didn't want everyone to get their hopes up when my gift might not have worked. I would have disappointed everyone."

Jasper's face finally softened, "Darlin', you could never disappoint us." He pulled me into his lap, which I was too big for really but I didn't protest, "You used your gift to do this?" I nodded, "You never cease to amaze me Daisy-May."

"I think this calls for celebration." Esme said.

"A party?" Alice cried hopefully.

Esme smiled. It wasn't often that the family indulged in Alice's need to party at every occasion, but I could tell that this was going to be one of those times. "Yes, a party. Let's do it."

"How is your sister pregnant? She's like eighteen." Freya said as she piled her plate high with food.

"She's twenty." I corrected, sticking to our back story.

Freya looked over at Alice doubtfully, "Are she and Jasper getting married?"

"Maybe, after the baby's born." I said, trying to think of a way to change the subject, "What time are we all coming to yours tomorrow?"

"I dunno, I figured like 1 o'clock?" Freya said, "I have to clean my room first but I can do that later tonight. My Mom's coming to pick me up in like a half hour. I think we're taking Sarah home too."

The party had been going on for a few hours now. I'd invited people from school, and Renesmee had invited some of her friends too. Dana had come and gone, and Peter and Charlotte were across the room talking to Jasper. The rest of the house was filled with people who I assumed Alice and Jasper had gone to school with, but I didn't recognise any of them.

I'm refilling my glass with non alcoholic punch when a boy I've never seen before bumps into me. I turned to glare at him but he's got this goofy smile on his face, "Sorry, I was attempting to dance."

I grin, "How's that going for you?"

"Uhh, not good, apparently." He said, "Crashing into people isn't a great way to introduce yourself to pretty girls." I felt myself blushing and he grins, "I'm Max. My older brother Liam is friends with Renesmee, so I got invited...kind of."

"I'm Daisy." I told him, "I live here."

"That would explain your photo up there on the wall." Max said, gesturing to a photo of me on the wall. It was taken a few years ago and I'm grinning like an idiot.

I groan, "That's not a good photo."

"You look cute." He commented.

I rolled my eyes, "I have never been cute."

At this point I'm scooped up into Emmett's arms as he placed a sloppy kiss on my cheek, "You've always been cute."

"Ugh, Emmett!" I said, trying to escape from his hold, "Have you been drinking?"

"Some kid bet me I couldn't do six shots in a row, so I did." Emmett said. I rolled my eyes. Vampires didn't drink, but Emmett had managed to get drunk.

"Put me down." I told him. He grumbled about it but set me down on my feet. "You're such an idiot."

"I love you too, kid." He said. He shoots Max a look, then looks back at me, "Stay away from boys."

Then he stumbled away leaving me utterly embarrassed, "I'm sorry, my brother is an idiot at the best of times, let alone drunk."

"I get it, my brother's a total jackass." Max said.

We keep talking for a while, about family and school and life. Max is fourteen, one grade higher than me at school, explaining why I didn't know him. He lived across town with his Dad and brother, and his Mom lived in California. I told him about my family - at least the made up story we told everyone. It was nice talking to him, he was funny and sweet.

After a while, his brother Liam wanted to leave, so he had to go. He left me with a casual "See you around", and I found myself really hoping that I did see him around.

I circulated for a while, losing interest once all my friends went home. By midnight, everyone had left and only the family remained. We all sat around the lounge, toying with leftover balloons.

"You know what I just realised?" Emmet asked, considerably more sober than earlier in the night, the venom in him having burned off the alcohol, "This means we're going to have to deal with pregnant Alice again."

There were a few groans around the family and Alice pouted, "What's wrong with pregnant me?"

"Nothing for the first eight months." Edward said, "Then you become the biggest pain in the ass to live with. Ever."

Alice throws a balloon at him, "Shut up, Ed."

"He's only telling the truth!" Emmett defended Edward.

Alice throws another balloon, and soon a balloon fight is in full swing. We only stop when a voice cuts through the commotion.

"What's the occasion?"

I turn to look at the beautiful vampire who'd just walked in. I've never met her before, but I recognise her instantly. The name comes out of my mouth as a whisper, barely even there.

"Rosalie."
