Whoa guys, let me clear something up right now!

I am not racist. I grew up in Tennessee reading books like Tom Sawyer and To Kill a Mockingbird- and grew up listening to "mountain talk" which is, to say, different from other forms of speech. This has NOTHING to do with racism and everything to do with education and the region. There are fics I have read where all of Gale's family speak with "less than perfect grammar" because of the region they come from. Fact is, if you are too poor to go to school and don't have time to study at home, I don't imagine you will have the best grammar like our dear Peeta Mellark, who was a Merchant and obviously a good student.

I'm also fully aware that Rue had correct grammar-but as stated, she is younger and had more time for education. When we look at people who speak with a dialect or a different form of speech, it is usually the adults, sometimes the much older ones.

I didn't mean to offend anyone with this but I won't apologize for it because let's face it, this is my interpretation of Suzanne Collins's book. So please do not send me hateful messages or call me names. You can keep the negative reviews to yourself as well. You know nothing about me so do not assume you do.

Sorry to those who thought this was an extra chapter! I just needed to clear this up as soon as I could.

Will try post again this weekend or when I get home from vacation next week! Thanks for the lovely words and the kind messages! They do mean the world, truly!

XOXOXO
