Disclaimer, you know.

"So, what is she up to?" Ellie asked.

"She's been sitting in that chair since the council dismissed, I'm not going near her, we've given orders that no one is allowed to enter the tent until she leaves." Alex said.

"What is she doing?" Ellie asked curiously

"Thinking, and it's worrying me" Alex said.

"Why?" Aislynn asked walking over

"Never mind that." Alex said.

"Alex!?" Came Dorothy's voice from the tent.

"Tea, make some tea, I'll take care of her." Alex said walking to the tent

"But you just said." Ellie said before Alex cut her off.

"I know what I said." Alex replied.

As Alex walked into the tent immediately he found himself in Dorothy's embrace. Alex sighed and returned the embrace.

"Alex, I can't think of anything." Dorothy said.

"Dorothy, planning a war and the jester's downfall isn't going to be easy." Alex said.

Dorothy sighed and released Alex. She then returned to the chair.

"Alex, that's the part that worries me, his downfall, this is the first time I actually have to kill someone on purpose." Dorothy said

"Dorothy, I want to say something positive, but it would just end up upsetting you." Alex said.

"Alex, get Ellie and Ace, I need as much help as I can get." Dorothy said.

Alex nodded and walked out of the tent. Immediately a loud crack of thunder shook the land. Alex found Ellie and Aislynn both at the camp fire. Ellie had put a pot over the fire and it seemed to have quickly come to a boil. Alex put his fingers to his lips and whistled grabbing Ellie and aislynn's attention. He motioned from them to come over. Ellie nodded and quickly filled a mug with tea before she and Aislynn walked over. Alex quickly lead them into the tent and over to Dorothy. Ellie sighed and handed Dorothy the mug.

"Alex said to make some tea." Ellie said.

"That's sweet of him, anyways, I want you all to help me come up with a plan." Dorothy said.

"Dorothy, we'll do the best we can to help you." Aislynn said.

"Ellie do you know any spells that allow one to relax?" Dorothy asked.

"No, I'm not my sister, all I have is half a bottle of calming tonic" Ellie said pulling out a bottle of emerald green fluid

"Yea, no thanks Ellie." Dorothy said taking a sip of tea.

Alex was about to say something when Glinda came into the tent.

"So this is where you three disappeared to, I thought I forbade you guys from coming in here until she was done." Glinda said.

"Glinda, it's alright, I called them in here." Dorothy said.

"Oh, why?" Glinda asked curiously.

"Because, I want them to help me, I'm completely at a loss." Dorothy said.

Glinda sighed and walked over to Dorothy. She placed a hand under her chin and raised her head so that they were making eye contact. Immediately Dorothy found herself looking into Glinda's mind. Seeing Glinda's memories. This only lasted or a few seconds as shortly after she found herself being somehow blocked by Glinda.

"Good to know that actually works, anyways, Dorothy, I'm sure you'll think of something." Glinda said before leaving the tent.

"Am I the only other person who felt Dorothy invading Glinda's memories?" Ellie asked curiously.

"Well I knew that was going to happen, but you're her sister and you have some sort of connection with her, so it doesn't really surprise me." Alex said as another loud rumble of thunder, this time followed by a flash of lightning, shook and lit up the area.

"Ace, have you thought of anything?" Ellie asked curiously.

"No, not outside of the obvious things." Aislynn said.

"Great, well I think the first thing we should do is organize our thoughts, maybe get them down on paper." Alex suggested.

"I make a habit of mentally organizing all my thoughts." Aislynn replied.

"Alright, but not everyone is as skilled as you are ace, some of us do need to write things out on paper and organize them that way." Dorothy said.

"I know that, I was just saying that that's what I do" Aislynn said.

Dorothy let out a sigh and got up from her chair. Grabbing the scepter she walked out of the tent. Alex, Ellie and Aislynn followed. She walked over to the remains of the fire and sat down on a log. Suddenly a loud crack of thunder shook the area followed by a flash of lightning.

"The thunder and lightning keep getting worse." Dorothy said

"We've noticed." Alex said sitting next to her.

"Dorothy, shouldn't we go back to the tent?" Ellie asked curiously

"What's the point? I'm completely at a loss." Dorothy said closing her eyes.

"Dorothy, we all are, but we can't give up." Ellie replied.

"I'm not giving up, I just have no idea what I'm going to do." Dorothy said.

Alex smiled and knelt down in front of Dorothy. Taking her hand in his own.

"Dorothy, I know you'll think of something in the end, you always do." Alex said.

"Alex is right Dorothy, you always think of something in the end, and your ideas are always great." Ellie said.

"Yes, and the last time I fought the jester I nearly got myself killed, I was almost permanently a statue." Dorothy said opening her eyes and turning to Ellie.

"Dorothy, this time it's different." Ellie said

"Ellie, I know it's different, this time all of Oz is at stake." Dorothy said.

"Dorothy, why don't you…" Alex started to say before finding Dorothy's hand cupped over his mouth.

"Alex please be quiet, all of you, be quiet" Dorothy said closing her eyes again.

Dorothy let out a sigh, she knew what she needed to do, and she knew she had to show the jester how he once was, for rose's sake. She knew she would have to use the power of the Moon's tear. She just wished she didn't have to kill him in the end. She wished she could make him see things differently, she knew the people of Oz would listen to her, she just didn't know how to get him to see reason, she then resolved to let him do the work. She removed her hand from Alex's mouth and leaned over, kissing him on the cheek.

"Dorothy, you've thought of something." Alex said.

'yes, but I'm not telling what it is." Dorothy replied

"Come on Dorothy, don't leave us in the dark." Ellie said.

"I'm leaving everyone in the dark on my idea, odds are he's watching us." Dorothy said

"True as that may be we still want to know." Aislynn said.

"You'll find out later, right now though, we need to wait." Dorothy said.

"For what?" Ellie asked curiously.

"For the attack on the city." Dorothy said.

Well, this was an eventful chapter. Anyways, once again real life has gotten in the way and I will be going on vacation for one week starting tomorrow. I will return sometime the following Saturday but I will not be able to bring a computer or my laptop with me so the next chapter will be a bit of a wait.
