LLL- Sorry I've been vacant for so long... Ya know, college and stuff.

Levi- No one wants to hear your excuses. You are a disgrace.

LLL- I'm sorryyyyyyy! I don't own Attack On Titan

Levi- Good cause nothing would ever be updated if it were up to you...

LLL- Your words hurt.

Levi raises an eyebrow and grunts before looking back over at the district. "What are you crying for?"

Eren hadn't even noticed that he'd slipped. He wipes his face with his sleeve and Erwin steps up with an answer. "He's still emotional from the fact that you're alright."

"Cut the shit," Levi growls. "He's clearly not a newbie and neither are the other brats, now tell me what I've missed. How much do I not know. Don't lie to me."

"The story is quite lengthy and I'd rather not explain it on the wall."

"Fine." Levi hops off the side and slides down with his 3DMG. Eren's eyes follow him in a longing gaze.

"He'll be fine," Erwin reassures. "But give him some time before saying anything extreme. He's going through a lot right now."

"He looked normal to me," Eren sighs.

"Exactly."

He lets that one word linger, leaping off the side. Eren stands alone and runs his hand through his hair. "I'm such an idiot." At that thought, he follows them. The three make it back into the house and Mikasa is standing in the kitchen with Jean. They are both surprised to see Levi walking around.

Mikasa takes a step forward. "What's going on?"

"Nothing," Eren grunts. "Problem solved."

She raises an eyebrow. "Problem?"

"What's your name?" Levi says. His question is heavy and filled with annoyance.

Mikasa becomes more serious than worried. "Mikasa Ackerman of the 104th Trainees Squad."

"Ackerman?" Levi says this more to himself than to the others. "And what about you?"

"I'm Jean Kirstein of the 104th Trainees Squad." Levi gazes at him with dead eyes and Jean becomes nervous. "What?"

"You look like a horse."

Jeans mouth hits the ground and Levi walks past him. Mikasa smiles, holding back a laugh. Eren's attention has been on every action Levi makes and he follows him up the stairs with Erwin, leaving Jean and Mikasa down stairs. They enter Levi's room and he sits on his bed with a mentally exhausted grunt.

"OK," he mumbles. "Start talking."

Erwin scratches the back of his head. "Well, you see. I have some higher ups I need to meet with about future plans outside of the wall so I'll leave the explaining to Eren."

"WHAT!?" Eren turns around to him but he's already gone. "Commander!" He yells out the door but its helpless. Slowly, he turns back towards Levi who is fearlessly staring him down. Eren flinches back in fear and Levi rolls his eyes.

"Get out. I don't have time for this." His voice is low and has a tone that straightens Eren to his core. He closes the door and takes a deep breath. He understands now that Erwin left them alone for a reason. He'll have to thank him later.

"So the last thing you remember is the breach in the wall and nothing else?"

"Yes."

"OK." Eren slowly and as carefully as he can explains the Shifters to Levi. After about 20 minutes of broken sentences, he silences himself to see if Levi absorbed it all. Levi's eyes never look away from Eren, glaring like daggers.

"So you're a titan."

Eren nods.

"And the girl who killed my team was posing as a human with the 104th trainee squad and got away."

Eren nods.

"Where is she?" Levi stands. "I'm going to kill her with my own hands."

"I-I killed her already."

"Did you?"

"Yes."

"She was your friend?"

"Yes."

"Are you lying to me."

Eren's eyes snap open. "No! I would never..." Eren stops midsentence and looks at the floor.

Levi looks to the side, out of the window. "Tch. Humans turning into titans... I can't believe that." He looks up at Eren who is still gazing at the floor. "Let me see you do it."

"What!" That snaps him out of his heart. "I can't do it in here. I'd destroy the building... And the next three buildings."

"So you're that big?"

"Well, my size varies, but if I changed now I'd most likely be a 15 meter class."

Levi notices the timidness in Eren's voice and the hesitation in every word. "Are you always this quiet?"

"No..."

Levi removes his shoes and shirt. Not expecting this, Eren's breath gets caught in his throat and Levi notices it. He raises his eyebrow and throws the shirt on the floor. "Hey, Brat. What's our relationship?"

"What?"

"I've lost months of memory and the fact that Erwin left you to explain things to me means I don't hate you. The fact that you were even with him to begin with says something."

"We don't have any kind of relationship. Just... just colleagues." Every ounce of Eren wants to scream out that they are lovers but it's too soon and Levi is still in a killing mood after being lied to. Eren bends to the ground and straightens Levi's shoes against the wall. He then picks up his shirt and folds it, placing it on the wooded nightstand.

Levi's eyebrows furrow. In a sudden rage he lunges at Eren and pins him against the wall. He is shorter but has his hand wrapped around the half titans neck, nearly lifting him off the ground. "What the hell aren't you telling me!"

"I- toldyou-argh.."

Levi tightens his hand. "Titan, huh? You don't seem any less pathetic then any other person I know."

The door swings open and Mikasa stands there, pointing a knife in his direction. "Release him. Now." Levi can sense the death in her voice and it only enrages him more. He looks back at Eren, not caring at all about Mikasa's threat. He doesn't even know her. There is a truly pathetic look on Eren's face. Levi's hand doesn't move the way he wants and a sharp pain shoots through his head. He snatches his hand from Eren and drops to one knee, grabbing his head. Eren falls to the floor with a thump, coughing. Mikasa runs to his aid.

Glancing up, Eren sees the pain that Levi is in and forgets his own discomfort. He runs to stumbles to Levi and puts both hands on his shoulders. Temporarily, he forgets that they aren't a couple. "Levi! Levi. Tell me what's wrong."

"M-my head. It..." Levi looks over at Eren, stopping his sentence and pushes his hands away. "Get the hell away from me."

Mikasa stands over him. "What is your probem! All he..."

"Mikasa! Don't. He's in pain. He needs to rest." Eren grabs her arm and walks out of the room, dragging the angry female. As soon as he closes the door, she snatches her arm away.

"Why haven't you told him yet!"

"I can't. It's not the right time. He's going through a lot."

"So have you! Can you please put yourself first for once!" Armin walks out of his room, hearing the commotion.

"No! And I don't know how you can even do that when it's your fault he's like this to begin with!" Eren's eyes go wide as soon as he realizes what he's said. He sighs deeply, his expression becoming more sincere. "Mikasa, I..."

"Don't. You're right. This wouldn't even be an issue had I... had I..."

"It's not your fault."

Armin steps in. "Yeah Mikasa. If you had held back, you might be the one without your memory."

"I'd rather it had been that way." She storms away. Armin grabs Eren's hand when he reaches out to her.

"She just needs some time. She feels really guilty about what happened."

Eren nods. "I think we all need a little rest. Sorry if we woke you Armin."

"It's no problem. See you in the morning." Armin goes into his room and Eren into his. Levi leans on his door, hearing the entire scene. He slides to the floor and rubs his aching head.

"What aren't they telling me?" He closes his eyes and tries to remember faces. The titan named Annie and any of the new recruits, but nothing but pain run through his head. He stands and drags his feet to his bed. Never in his life has he ever felt this way. So confused and above all, weak.

Just as he is about to lay down in his bed and stare at the ceiling for hours on end, he hears a creak. He sits up, alert, and listens. There's another creak. And another... another.

The stairs? Levi stands up and stumbles a little, the pain in his head throwing off his balance. He opens his door and trudges down the stairs and into the kitchen. He doesn't see anyone. That's when he looks into the small sitting area where the single couch sits. Eren is staring at him with large green eyes.

"Why are you down here?" Levi asks.

"I was here first. Why are you down here?" Although his expression doesn't change, Levi gets this dangerous look in his eyes. Eren's reply quickly changes. "I can't sleep. No point in trying."

Levi walks towards the couch and leans on it. "How did I really lose memory."

"You challenge Mikasa to a fight and she kicked you in the face."

His eyes go wide and suddenly he looks angry. "I got hit by a girl?"

"Actually you got the shit kicked out of yo-~~" The word drags as Eren looks at the pissed expression on Levi's face. "But you shouldn't be mad about it! Mikasa is like a super human. She's like you." Levi says nothing and Eren feels he's hit a bad spot. "I mean, not that you're super human because you're just as human as anyone else."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Nothing." Eren turns his head. "Are you going to put on a shirt?"

Levi had forgotten he'd taken it off. "Don't feel like getting one."

Eren stands. "I'll go get one."

"Sit down. I'm not done talking to you." Eren obeys and sits back on the couch.

"Are you really a titan?"

"Yes."

"You don't act like one."

Eren narrows his eyes. "How is a titan, human hybrid supposed to act? We don't eat people and we have hearts!" He stops talking when he realizes his voice raised slightly.

Levi looks down at him. "What do you expect me to think." Eren can tell he's thinking back to his team. His thoughts are proven correct by Levi's next statement.

"How did Petra die?"

Eren's heart freezes as he tries to find the words. He was the only person who saw her death and even before, Levi had not asked him. "She died valiantly."

"That's not what I mean and you know it."

Eren stands and walks towards him. "She was my friend to. You think I like remembering it. She didn't die because of a decision you made. She died because of the one I made." Eren looks off to the side, emotions over coming him. "If only I had changed earlier I could have saved her. I could have saved them all." He then looks back at Levi who isn't speaking and sighs. "If you stay like that you'll catch a cold."

He walks away from Levi, soon returning with a shirt. Levi slides it over his head and gets a stubborn look on his face. "Why do you keep doing that?"

"What?"

He sighs brashly. "Never mind." His thoughts again wrap around Petra. The fact that she's dead just won't sink in. It can't be. "This has got to be a dree-ughh." He grabs his head and leans forward. Eren runs to his aid and holds him.

"You Idiot. You get out of your bed, run across the district, and scale the wall. Now you can barely stand."

"What-what the hell did you just say to me?"

"Shut up." Eren leads him to the couch. He sits but refuses to lie down.

"I'm fine."

"Like hell you are. I'll get you some water."

Levi grunts. "That! Why do you keep doing that!"

Eren doesn't pay his rant any mind and runs into the kitchen, getting a glass of water. This could turn out to be much worse than he'd hoped.

Suddenly the front door swings open. Eren looks over to see Hange. Her eyes are drawn immediately to Levi. At first straight faced, she eventually smiles her usual goofiness. Levi rolls his eyes. She marches in, slamming the door behind her. "How are you?"

"Fine."

"No he's not Hange." Eren walks over with the cup and she takes it out of his hand, drinking it in one gulp. He tilts his head at her before shaking off the confusion. "His head hurts. He can't even stand."

"Then why isn't he in bed?"

"I don't know."

Hange looks into the air, thinking of a solution. "I got it!" She walks to the kitchen and fills another cup with water. Eren can't exactly see what she is doing. Seconds later returns with a brown gush inside of the cup.

"I'm not drinking that," Levi states.

"You don't even know what it is," Hange tells him.

"What is it?"

"It's a sed..."

"I'm not drinking that."

"Come on, Levi! It's for your own good!"

Eren takes his fist and taps Levi's head with the tip of his knuckles. As he already knows, this causes the captain a lot of pain. "You look weak and pathetic! If you drink this, it'll go away."That hits a pressure point within Levi. He grabs the cup and chugs down the liquid. His face contorts into something unreadable. Eren looks hopeful. "So, how do you feel?"

"Like I'm going to vomit."

Hange smiles and pats his shoulder. "That's OK Levi. I'm sure you'll puke Windex anyway."

Levi's eyebrows furrow. "Leave."

She shrugs. "Well he's all yours!"

"Wait, Hange. Didn't you come here to get something?"

"Oh. I came to sneak some of your blood, but since you're awake there's not helping that."

"What?"

"See ya." She walks out, nonchalantly.

Both Eren and Levi say in unison. "What is wrong with her?"

"Get out of mahhh-ahhhhh." Levi releases a lengthy yawn that Eren has never seen before.

"Are you getting tired?"

"No. Why wou-aaarrhhhhh." Another one? Levi leans to the side and Eren sits beside him, balancing up right.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Just a little...I feel weird."

Eren raises an eyebrow. "What exactly did Hange give you?"

Levi leans on Eren. Eren's eyes widen and he tenses up feeling the smaller man on him. Thoughts of their previous interactions flash through Eren's mind. Looks down at Levi and sees his grey eyes staring back at him. They are full of exhaustion and sadness. Sadness?

"Is she really dead?"

Eren doesn't need to ask any questions. "She was brave."

"Dammit. I know that." His voice is weak and light. "What did I do after that?"

"You stayed strong. You led us."

"Why are you so warm?" Eren's cheeks turn red and Levi speaks before he can even think of a reply. "Your eyes..."

"What about them?"

"They're green." Levi smiles. Yep.. He's out of it. It is one of the weirdest sights Eren has even seen. Levi huffs. "I miss her."

Eren holds Levi tightly. "You've got me."

"I'm not strong. I can't protect you."

"You don't have to. I'm hear to protect you."

"Brat..."

"Hmm?"

His voice is sluggish and low. "Do I love you?"

"What!? Why would you say that!"

"You remind me of her a little but it's different." Levi slides down on Eren's lap. "It's better."

Eren's heart is beating out of his chest and tears fill his eyes as he feels his Levi laying on him. It's like he is falling in love all over again. He rubs through Levi's black hair. "You tell me." After about 10 minutes Eren has trouble staying awake himself and slumps to sleep.

The next morning, Levi is wakened by the sound of a few birds. He feels light headed and his vision is hazy. With a grunt he clenches his fingers and feels something soft and warm. Slowly he lifts himself up and sees Eren. Both of them are laying on the small couch, Levi's body on top of Eren's Levi's eyes widen with disbelief.

"Finally awake I see. Did you sleep nicely?" Erwin is leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and a knowing grin on his face.

LLL- I dont have much to say to that except...Yumikuri is canon.
