I tried my high tops tight as I got ready. Today was the only day I was able to hang out with people other then Corey and the twins. I mean, I love all three of them and all, but I haven't been able to talk to my other friends thanks to our constant practicing. Ever since we kicked The Newmans tail at the battle of the bands they started to give us respect and me and Lenny oddly had a lot in common. Today we decided to got to go to the park and play some hoops.

After I got to the park Lenny ran up to me smiling. "Hey Lane." I smiled back at him. "Hey Len. Where's your basketball?" He then scratched the back of his head. "It kinda popped." I started to laugh. "How did you do that?" He dropped his hand to his side. "Fence,ball,pop." We both started laughing. "Hey, does Carrie know you're here." He shrugged. "She's having girl time with the twins. They won't notice till midnight anyway." I smiled at him. "So, what do we do now?" He shrugged. "Want to go to the carnival? I heard it opens today." I smiled again. "Totally lets go!" We then raced to the carnival ground.

I ended up winning when we ended up at the carnival. "I won!" He was out of breathe. "I *breath* Could have *breathe* Beat you* breath* But I went easy on you." I punched him playfully in the arm. "Oh come on! Let's go inside or are you still trying to catch you're breathe?" I smirked as he got his hands off his knees. "As long as you can keep up." He ran right passed me to the entrance. "Oh your on!"

After a while we decided to leave. I was holding a small bear Len got me and he had a cotton candy bag. "Totally awesome carnival." He smiled and nodded. "Yep. Cotton candy?" I smiled and shook my head. "Na. But thanks anyway Len." He smiled. This is one reason why I liked hanging out with Lenny. His fun and kind.

Only if the guys knew how awesome he was I wouldn't have to use our free day to hang out with him. But, what could you do. All because they started giving us a little respect doesn't mean they guys will change. One day they will, I just got to wait till then.
