I was walking home from band practice with the girls. I would have rode home but my brother was using my bike. Today was awesome. I got us gig, Carrie and the girls got to make a sleepover for them selves and I don't have get my nails painted again. They would usually do that when they figured they wanted to have a sleepover so i'm safe from an other tragedy. I laughed to my self as I continued to walk home. I was happy Carrie talked Kim and Konnie out of inviting me to thing. She always knew I didn't like it when they were in charge of these type of things and I'm glad about that. I walked up the steps of my house to get a text from Care. 'Save me: BlueGuitaristGirl' I started laughing as I text her back. 'Are you sure? I thought you'll love all that girly stuff. :P: TheRedBassist' She almost immediately sent a text back. 'You know how I'm afraid of The Chainsaw Massacre? Yeah, they're watching it.:BlueGuitaristGirl' I frowned at this. The twins forgot that she's afraid of murders. 'I'll be right there.:TheRedBassist' I walked in my house and set my bass on the couch before grabbing my motto helmet and jacket before running out to my bike, to my surprise there was note on it and a back up helmet. I read the note real quick before hopping on. 'Thanks for the loan, I filled the tank for ya. I owe ya one little bro. From, Mike.' I smiled and put the note in my pocket after putting my helmet on and zipping up my jacket. I started the engine before I speed down the road.
I sat in horror hoping Lens would get here already. I'm horrified by movies like this. Lens known this sense we were kids and he dressed up like Jason for Halloween. He scared me half to death that day and he promised that he wasn't going to do that again. I finally felt the vibrations of my phone as I got up. "Sorry girls. My mom want me home. See you guys at practice tomorrow." They pouted before they then smiled at me. "Alright see ya Carrie!" I walked out side to see Lens leaning against his bike. "Still scared?" He threw me a helmet before I punched him in the arm playfully. "Don't joke about that." I put on the helmet as I could tell Lens was smiling. "Alright scared-y-cat." I punched him for real this time. "Ouch! Dang you can hit!" I smiled being victorious as Lens started up his bike. "Don't be smiling yet Care." I got creeped out and screamed silently as Lens started laughing. I smacked him on the head. "Ouch. What am I? Your punching bag?" I smiled. "No, your my best friend that just scared the hell out of me. I'm only 16 Lens. I don't need a heart attack because of you." I noticed he had a soft smile on even thought his helmet had a black visor. He got on the bike and I followed him in suit. We started riding down the road soon after. "Where to Care?" I smiled. "Park?" To my surprise he did a wheelie scaring me which ending up with me hugging him tightly. I knew already I was a blushing mess. "To the park then!"
I tried my best to hide the 4th degree blush on my face as I swallowed down the awaiting stutter. "To the park then!" Carrie usually had this effect on me sense we were seven. The twins always picked on me about it when ever Care wasn't around. I was happy they don't know about this. They would be calling me something like 'Protector','Prince Charming', or the worst one they gave me, 'Superman' as they called Carrie 'Lois Lane'. As we arrived at the park Carrie let go of me and hopped off after I parked. I took off my helmet and unzipped my jacket before getting off as well. I took the keys out of the bike as Carrie set her helmet on the right handle as I set mine on the left. "Shall we?" Carrie laughed at me as I acted to much like a gentleman. She always laughed when I did this. "Alright Leonardo." I pouted. "Don't use my full name Kendall Beff." She gave me a scared look. "Ssshh! Someone might hear you." I smiled victorious. "Alright Care as long as you don't call me Leonardo." We shook hands immediately. "Deal." After that we started asking random questions to each other. I smiled as we walked around the park. "Green or Blue?" I gave her a confused look. "You know that answer already Care." She smiled as her blue eye brightened. "Green I know." After she walked over to the small water fountain I mumbled my real answer. "Blue." I walked over to her as she leaned over the water fountain. "Alright then Care. Red or Orange?" I knew she was going to say orange but to my surprise she didn't. "Red." This made me blush pretty badly. "Really?" She smiled at me and patted me on the head. "Totally." I could tell I was really blushing now. "Hey boys! It's Le-nerd and Carrie." I know who that was. "Marcus." I hissed as Carrie frowned. She known Marcus hated and bullied me sense we were little. "Why don't you ditch this guy and hang out with me blue?" Care pretended to puke before answering with a, "No thanks." I started laughing before Marcus tried punching me on the head. I slid over making him punch the side of the fountain. "You little son of a-" Before he could finish I grabbed Care's hand and ran off toward my bike. "That was awesome Lens!" I smiled knowing that she was excited. I got on my helmet as I heard Marcus coming after us. "Hurry he's gaining on us Care!" She put her helmet on after I got on the bike and started it up again. She got on as Marcus appeared. I did a two finger salute as Carrie waved before we left as Marcus decided to throw rocks at us as we left.
I started laughing as we got back on the rode. "That was awesome at how his face looked!" I wasn't kidding either. It was beat red and it looked like he was a clown after he noticed we left. This was one thing that I loved about hanging out with Lens. It's never a dull moment. I smiled as I hung onto Lens as he did another wheelie this time with both of us laughing and with me blushing again. "Let's get you home Care. It's by your curfew anyway." I frowned. "Alright Lens. What ever you say." I put my head on his shoulder before I fell asleep. Ten minutes later I felt someone shaking me. "Care. Wake up." I opened my eyes to see a blushing Lenny with me on his shoulder and with me hugging him. I blushed and got off him. "Sorry about that Lens." I got off and took the helmet off. I was about to give it to him but he pushed it back to me and told me to keep it. "Are you sure Lens?" He smiled. "I'm sure." He got off the bike and walked me up to my house. "Thanks again for the save today Lens." He smiled at me brightly. "No problem Care. Oh and Care." I was about to ask him but I was unable to speak as he decided to kiss me. After a minute or two he pulled back leaving me shocked. "I had fun." He then started walking back to his bike before he turned. "Oh and also. Blue." He then put on his helmet and left after starting up his bike. "Red." Was all I could say as I smiled and walked into my house in utter bliss.
