An Elsanna Fanfiction
Chapter 9: Shopping Shenanigans
Anna uncurled herself from the ball she was in to glance at her alarm clock. Five in the morning… it's a good thing I only have one class tomorrow, she thought as she curled back upon herself, her tear ducts long since run dry. The redhead tried to focus on the steady breathing of Belle on the other side of the room, but it was little reprieve from the pain in her chest. Anna had sent a text to Olaf telling him what happened but hadn't received a text back. Probably sleeping, she thought gloomily. Dragging herself out of bed, she grabbed a change of clothes and her shower bag before heading to the bathroom, resigning herself to a sleepless night.
An hour later, Anna was dressed in a pair of jeans and a camisole. She grabbed her camera bag and headed outside hoping a photo session would distract her from the pain of rejection. The sun was just coming up on the horizon, so Anna took the opportunity to take a few shots. The morning sky was a gorgeous blend of pinks, reds, and purple. And to Anna, it felt like the morning sun was trying to cheer her up. Another hour passed and Anna felt no better than she had before leaving her room, so she gathered her things and returned to the hall.
When Anna re-entered her room, she found Belle awake and getting dressed for class.
"I still don't see why you took twenty-one credits your first semester!" Anna rolled her eyes at the brunette.
"Why not get a jump on things? Besides, there're so many cool topics for classes here. I'm interested in them, so it's not really like they're work, right?"
"Yeah, until you have to read nine-hundred pages in one day for homework," the redhead replied teasingly as she stuck her tongue out.
"On a more serious note, are you okay? I… woke up during the night and heard you crying," Belle said, a look of concern crossing her face as she noticed the bags under Anna's eyes, "…no offense, honey, but you look like hell."
"Thanks a lot, Belle. I'll- I'll be alright. Don't worry about me, okay?" Anna replied, a fresh wave of sadness washing over her when Belle mentioned the previous night.
"If you say so, but hey, after classes, why don't we grab lunch? See what chocolate monstrosity you can come up with today – what do you say?" the brunette asked with an encouraging smile. Anna didn't deserve to cry, she was too happy a person for such a cruel emotion.
"Okay okay, just go – you're going to be late!" Anna nearly pushed the brunette out of the room as Belle kept throwing concerned looks at the redhead.
Finally with the room to herself, Anna hooked her camera up to her computer to transfer the photos to her hard drive. As she waited for the transfer to complete, she realized Belle's mention of lunch had made her hungry. For once, awake for breakfast, Anna decided to head to the dining hall to see what the school had to offer.
Grabbing her wallet and exiting the room, she pulled up short when she turned left to head toward the exit and saw Elsa leaving her own dorm, struggling to close her door with her foot while holding a pile of books, notebooks, and a pen in her mouth. As she collected herself and began to approach the blonde, Anna couldn't help the feeling of want that was slowly building in her chest.
Let it go, Anna. She doesn't want you, remember? She doesn't like girls, her mind chastised her for her longing for something she couldn't have.
Arriving next to the blonde who was still struggling, Anna reached out and grabbed the doorknob, pulling the door closed, "Here, I've got it," she said, releasing the knob and stepping back, keeping a decent gap of space between the two girls.
Elsa stiffened slightly at the sound of Anna's voice before turning to the redhead and offering a, "Thanks, Anna…" causing the pen to fall from her mouth to the floor, "listen… about last night, I-"
"Don't worry about it, Elsa," the redhead cut her off, feeling the sting of tears brewing behind her eyes, "it's not your fault that you don't like girls, right? It's not exactly something you can control after all." Anna said as she stooped down to retrieve Elsa's pen. Quickly wiping it off, she made to return the pen to its owner and found Elsa's hands still full. Pausing awkwardly, Elsa finally rolled her eyes slightly.
"It's not that I-"she stopped mid-sentence, "Just uh, put it back in my mouth, okay?" Elsa said before opening her mouth and looking expectantly at Anna.
Anna's face burned red as she slowly placed the pen into Elsa's waiting lips, feeling just a tinge of moisture attach itself to her pointer finger where it made momentary contact with Elsa's top lip. In a delayed reaction, Elsa realized the hidden meaning to her statement and a flush rivaling Anna's rose to her neck and cheeks, accentuated by the fact that her skin was typically so pale. The two girls stood in awkward silence until Elsa cleared her throat lightly, causing Anna to realize her hand was still hanging just in front of Elsa's lips before the redhead jerked her hand back so fast it collided with her chest making a dull thud. The two girls locked eyes for a moment, faces still beet red until a moment later when Elsa broke eye contact, shrugging her shoulder slightly in an attempt at a wave as she turned and exited the building.
"It's not that I-"she stopped mid-sentence, "Just uh, put it back in my mouth, okay?" Elsa said before opening her mouth and looking expectantly at Anna.
Elsa's breath hitched slightly as Anna's hand grew closer to her lips. Just as she felt contact between her upper lip and Anna's finger, she blushed furiously as the meaning of her previous words came crashing down onto her.
Oh. My. God! Elsa what the hell is wrong with you!? Wait, is her hand still near your lips? Oh my God it is! And what exactly were you going to say? It's not that you what? It's not that you don't like girls? It's not that you're crushing on her? What Elsa? What!?
Elsa realized the two had been frozen in place for quite some time and awkwardly cleared her throat. She felt a slight pang of sadness when Anna pulled her hand away. Fortunately, her arms laden with books and supplies stopped her from doing anything stupid like reaching out for the retreating appendage.
Okay Elsa, you need to get out of here before you do something you regret. Like, now! Elsa broke eye contact with the redhead and shrugged a shoulder at Anna in a noncommittal farewell as she hurried toward the exit to the building wondering just how exactly she was going to make it through the rest of the year.
Anna stared after her, the loose old t-shirt and faded jeans the blonde was wearing slowly disappearing until the last thing Anna could see was the glare of the sun bouncing off of a single braid. Sighing, she squared her shoulders before leaving the dorms in search of food to distract her from the swaying hips that weren't quite disguised by the loose-fitting jeans of her unrequited blonde. Arriving shortly at the dining hall, Anna swiped her meal card and headed into the room, quickly surveying the available breakfast options. Settling on a large stack of chocolate chip pancakes, some hash browns, and a very large glass of chocolate milk, she gathered her items onto a tray and looked around the seating area to see if any of her friends were around.
Of course no one's here, she sighed, finding none of her friends in the hall.
Just as Anna was walking through the rows of tables to find an isolated spot, she saw a blonde she vaguely recognized waving to her. "Hey Anna, come sit!" the boy patted the seat next to him. The words echoed in Anna's head, but in her own voice, as they had been hours earlier. Walking numbly, she seated herself next to the blonde boy and placed her tray on the table.
"Hey," the blonde boy offered.
"Hello… Christopher, right?" Anna said, remembering the buy from her chemistry class.
"Ugh… it's Kristoff, not Christopher," he replied, rolling his eyes in mock pain.
"Oh, sorry…" Anna mumbled, looking back down at her plate.
"And this is Sven, say hi you big dolt," Kristoff said, motioning at his brunette companion.
Anna, who had not seen Kristoff motion, looked up in hurt and annoyance, "Really? That's how you greet a new person you meet? Calling them a big dolt?"
She was just about to collect her tray and leave when the boys both began to stammer out a series of 'no's' and motioning to Sven.
"Hold on, hold on… I was referring to Sven not you. I'm sorry!" Kristoff said, throwing his hands up in the air in surrender, "man, they always said redheads are the feisty ones…" he finished, grinning at Anna to ensure that she knew he was kidding.
"Har har," Anna pseudo-laughed while she turned back to her breakfast.
Anna was left to eat in relative peace as Sven and Kristoff began to banter back and forth with each other. The redhead couldn't help but smile a little as she watched the two bicker lightly. Friends, she mused, good friends. Is that something could have with Elsa? Would I want that with Elsa – without wanting more?
Anna was shaken from her thoughts as a loud crash was heard just outside the dining hall followed by the unmistakable sound of a drum roll. Anna, finished with her meal, sprung to her feet a bit more enthusiastically than others nearby and was swept into the crowd with Kristoff and Sven as most of the dining hall emptied into the quad. Anna pushed her way to the front before looking around frantically. A few moments later, Anna hung her head and slunk back into the crowd until she felt herself bump into a mass behind her before two strong hands steadied her as she looked up into the soft dark brown eyes of Sven.
"She's not here Anna," Kristoff said, clapping the redhead on the shoulder, "so, you two made out yet?" the blonde waggled his eyebrows at Anna before a large hand smacked him in the back of the head. Glaring at Sven, Kristoff exclaimed, "Hey!"
Anna's shoulders sunk as she looked down at her feet, "I'm- I'm not her type – she said so herself," Anna finished with a sigh.
"Shenanigans," Kristoff stated as if he declared divine truth.
"Shenanigans? What do you mean, shenanigans?" Anna asked curiously.
"I mean shenanigans. She's totally into you," Kristoff said as if the matter was solved already.
"And how would you know that it's… shenanigans?" Anna asked, genuinely curious as a little spark of hope ignited in her chest.
"Because I happen to know a love expert, and he says its shenanigans. Right, Sven?"
"I swear to God I'll punch the next person who says, 'shenanigans'," Sven said looking at Kristoff like he could see the blonde losing IQ points through his ears, "but in this rare case, I'd have to agree – she's totally into you."
"But she said she wasn't gay," Anna said, hoping against hope that somehow Sven and Kristoff had seen something she hadn't.
"And I said it was shenan- uh, did she say that exactly?" Kristoff said, backpedaling as Sven cracked his knuckles.
"I asked her why she had been avoiding me and she said she wasn't gay – she used that wording exactly," Anna said, growing tired of the two boys' antics.
"Well now, that's not a 'because I don't like you', now is it?" Kristoff said, folding his arms in front of his chest and grinning.
"I guess not…" Anna trailed off uncomfortably, not really sure what to say to that revelation. Nonetheless, excitement was bubbling in the pit if her stomach. Fortunately, after only a brief moment of silence, Sven changed topics.
"Anyway, Kristoff and I are starting up a running group. Care to join us?"
Thankful for the change, Anna readily agreed before realizing what Sven had said. Trying to backtrack, Anna began, "Uh, wait. Me? Run? Uh… not such a good idea, Sven…" Anna blushed slightly as memories of her numerous slips, trips, and falls came rushing back to her.
"Aww, come on, Anna! It'll be fun! Besides, it'll give you something to do instead of sitting and moping around. What do you say?" Kristoff cocked an eyebrow at the redhead.
I guess I really don't have anything to lose, do I? Besides, more friends is a good thing, right? "Fine, but I'm warning you – I don't run."
The trio quickly exchanged phone numbers before the conversation turned to classes, thoughts on professors, and friends they'd made – or in Anna's case, enemies. Before Anna knew it, it was time for her to get to her only class of the day, so she big the two boys a heartfelt farewell and headed back to the dorms to retrieve her bag. As Anna neared the dorms, she noticed Elsa out of the corner of her eye approaching the doors at the same time – arms still laden with books and other school supplies.
Jogging to beat the blonde to the door, Anna opened the outer door and held it open for Elsa who blanched slightly after taking notice of the redhead. However, having little choice, she processed through the doorway and paused, waiting for Anna to open the next door. Walking side by side, the two girls came to Elsa's door first, and Anna stopped after noting that Elsa paused in front of her door, unmoving.
"Did- did you need help with the door?" Anna asked, noting Elsa's dilemma – the way she was carrying her school items, there was no easy way to set them down.
"I- um, okay…" Elsa said after looking around frantically for an alternative option that did not involve Anna staying in her immediate vicinity.
"Okay, so where's your keycard?" Anna asked the seemingly innocent question.
"It- oh dear… um, maybe just… help me set these down?" Elsa's face burned red.
"Oh come on where is it?" Anna asked, inspecting the pile of books in Elsa's arms looking for any hint of the card.
"Anna… it's- it's not there. It's… in my pocket…" Elsa trailed off, the implication clear.
"Oh, no problem," Anna said, "uh, which pocket?"
"It's in the right pocket, but Anna I really don't think-" Elsa was cut off by the feeling of smooth skin rubbing against her left thigh as Anna failed to understand that the blonde had meant her right, and so had dove into her left pocket, which was no longer a pocket, but a hole devoid of a cloth pouch. Instead of finding a keycard, Anna instead felt her fingertips grasp the smooth flesh of Elsa's inner-thigh, causing both girls to gasp as Anna quickly withdrew her hand, her nails grazing the porcelain white skin of Elsa's thigh sending a not-entirely-unwelcome shiver down Elsa's spine. Elsa knew she'd have marks left from the incident, but her mind was otherwise occupied as she tried to maintain her composure when all she wanted to do was collapse into a quivering mess on the floor.
"Anna, my right pocket!" Elsa exclaimed, her voice shaky as she continued to try and stay standing.
"Sorry! Sorry sorry sorry," Anna rambled as she moved to Elsa's other side and carefully slid her hand into the other pocket, surprised when her hand didn't stop short and instead went deeper into the pocket… and deeper.
Are these? Oh my goodness, these are guy's pants! The pockets are so deep! Oh holy hell, is that her other thigh? Holy… okay, focus, Anna… just find the card. Whatever you do, don't think about how close to her- ooooooh dear that was the edge of her panties. Huh, cotton or lace or-no no no, focus. Card! Not panties. Card! Anna searched frantically moving aside keys, wallet, Chap Stick, and other knick knacks until her hand finally grasped the keycard she was looking for. Triumphantly pulling the card out of Elsa's pants with a victorious, "Ah, hah!" Anna slid the card into the slot and removed it, opening Elsa's room before placing the card on top of the blonde's pile of books.
"So, what, did you forget your bag today? You know it makes carrying things a lot easier…" Anna tried to make conversation to hide the massive blush on her face, although she really had nothing to worry about given the same red color was strewn about Elsa's features as well – the poor blonde looked like she was about to pass out from too much blood flow to the brain.
Elsa, giving up and tossing her school items on her bed, walked over to her discarded bag, holding it up to display the large hole in the side, "It ripped – I have to mend it," the blonde said before dropping it unceremoniously back to is resting place on the floor.
"Oh cool, you know how to sew?" Anna always liked the idea of being able to create something via sewing.
"Well, uh… no, not exactly," Elsa admitted.
"Oh, well then, wouldn't it be easier to just go buy a new one?" Anna asked, confused.
"I- I can't…" Elsa said, dropping her eyes slightly as she made herself appear busy at her desk, hoping Anna would take the hint.
"But why not? It's not too hard, you can even do it onli-"
"I just can't,Anna! Okay? Now please, just- just go…" Elsa said, motioning to the door.
Anna's mouth was still open, her words caught in her throat as the mood in the room shifted significantly. The redhead gave a shudder as she slowly walked out of the room, "Sure thing, Elsa… right, okay… bye…"
Elsa watched the redhead as she walked out, turning left toward her own room. Once out of sight, Elsa hastened to the doorway, peering out to watch as Anna entered her room. Sighing, she almost missed the door re-open and Anna come out, toting her own school bag as she hurried out of the building. Elsa was barely able to pull her head back inside the room as the redhead looked back over her shoulder longingly at the blonde's open doorway as Elsa slammed her door shut.
Leaning up against the door, Elsa shivered as she remembered in detail where Anna's hands had roamed just minutes before. Needing to calm down, Elsa decided to take a quick shower before her next class – the hot water always helped to de-stress the blonde and that's exactly what she needed at this point in time.
Thankful that her bathroom renovations had been completed, the blonde shed her clothes while turning on the water and waiting for the temperature to increase. As she waited, she couldn't help but notice in the mirror, the redness in her cheeks that had yet to fade from her earlier encounter. As she was standing back from the countertop, she also noticed tinges of red on her upper left thigh. Shaking her head, she hopped into the shower, allowing the warm beads of water to caress her neck and shoulders as the water ran down her body.
Elsa leaned her head back, reveling in the feeling of the water's soft caress, relaxing into the steady pulsing of the stream. As she relaxed, her mind wandered, and her hand dropped to her thigh, running her fingertips over the marks as she recalled the feeling of Anna's hand, her core heating up from a source that was most decidedly not the water. Relaxing further, Elsa allowed her mind to slip in the privacy of her own bathroom. As her hand continued to trace the marks on her inner thigh, Elsa imagined it was Anna's hand. She closed her eyes, her hand switching to making small circular patterns growing ever closer to her core, and for a moment, was aware at the direction her brain, and perhaps her heart, were rapidly heading.
Fuck it, she thought after only a moment's hesitation.
And so she did.
Fortunately for Anna, her class, much like the ones the day prior, was simply going over the syllabus, as her mind wouldn't have been able to focus on anything going on in the classroom if she'd tried her hardest.
I. Touched. Elsa's. Thigh! Like, her inner-thigh. And her panty line! Why was she wearing jeans that don't even have proper pockets? And why guy's jeans? Maybe they're a pair of lucky jeans? Oh my goodness, did she get lucky in those jeans? The thought put a sour taste in her mouth. And what's with the bag? It's not hard – just go to the store and get one, or online and get it delivered, or whatever… Anna placed her flushed face in her hands as she rested her elbows on the desk while listening to the professor drone on about the attendance policy.
Finally, the bell rang and Anna was free – she quickly gathered her belongings and fled the academic side of campus as quickly as she could, eager to find someplace quiet where she could un-jumble the mass of thoughts running through her mind.
Just as Anna was keying into her room, she heard her name called from down the hall. Looking over her shoulder, she saw Kristoff waving to her, "Hey, Anna. Meet outside at nine, okay? Let's see just how fast you can run!" and with that, he disappeared into her room, presumably to get ready to torment the redhead.
Groaning, Anna entered her room, earning a curious glance from Belle whose nose was buried in The Goblet of Fire. "Everything okay?" the brunette asked before returning to her book.
Anna tossed her bag on the floor by her desk before sighing, "Yeah, everything's fine…"
"Sounds like it," Belle offered, placing the bookmark in her book before setting it aside and looking at the redhead, "anything you want to talk about?"
"Not particularly, "the redhead said as she plopped down in her desk chair fully intent on wallowing until she felt her arm being pulled.
Glancing over she saw Belle pulling her to her feet. How the hell did she get down here that fast? Anna thought as her eyes darted from Belle's bed to where the brunette was now tugging her arm out of its socket.
"Come on, Anna, we're going to go grab lunch," chuckling as Anna tried to resist, she added, "I heard they have a new chocolate desser-," Belle was unable to finish because Anna was suddenly on her feet, causing Belle to topple backwards and land on the floor with a thud, laughing.
"Chocolate? What are you waiting for?" Anna grinned, her troubles momentarily pushed aside as she headed out the door, Belle following close behind texting their friends to meet them in the dining hall.
Lunch was fun for Anna – she and Belle were met by Mulan, Shang, and Ariel and the group talked about their course loads and random antics they'd observed throughout the day. Anna was content to sit back and listen for the most part, but she felt slightly left out. By her head count, Mulan basically had Shang, Ariel had Merida, and Belle may as well have Adam since the two of them had so much in common, though nothing was set in stone. Eventually, food was consumed (including an especially large serving of chocolate ganache cake), and Shang announced he had to depart for drumline practice. The group bid each other goodbye and Anna returned to the dorms to do some homework before her dreaded run later that evening.
Several hours later, Anna closed the book she had been reading. Rubbing her eyes, she rolled onto her back and stretched, letting out a loud yawn. Clambering down from her bed, she approached her closet with apprehension. Long ago, Anna had purchased some workout clothes in an effort to motivate her to go to the gym, but the effort had failed. She kept them around as a reminder, but had never actually worn them outside of the dressing room. Now, without much in the way of excuses, she withdrew the pair of shorts, sports bra, and black t-shirt – the kind that clung to the body, but kept the sweat off, and lay them over the back of her chair for that evening.
"You sure you won't come with us later?" Anna asked in one last ditch effort to bring a friend with her on the run.
"Anna, I am many things, but a runner I am not," the brunette said as she too climbed down from her bed, "but I will totally escort you to the dining hall for dinner. Let's go"
As the two friends made their way to the dining hall, Anna heard her name being called and looked around to find Aurora jogging to catch up with them. "Hey what's up?"
"Just grabbing some dinner. You?" Anna replied.
"Oh, I was headed there myself. Mind if I tag along?" Aurora asked, falling into stride with the other two girls.
Looking to Belle who simply shrugged her consent, Anna said, "Sure. Oh, Aurora this is Belle. Belle, Aurora," Anna gestured between the two of them as they waved to each other.
The girls busied themselves with conversation about college life, classes, and other gossip as they finished their walk to the dining hall and gathered their food. Finding a table to sit at, Anna took a seat and Aurora quickly planted herself next to Anna, as Belle moved to the other side of the table and sat down. During the course of consuming their meals, the two roommates peppered Aurora with questions, eventually discovering that Aurora is a local, but suffers from narcolepsy so she was homeschooled. Now safely on medication to control the symptoms, she was able to attend college, and was particularly appreciative of the freedoms of not being stuck at home.
Anna was in particularly better spirits upon leaving the dining hall. Good food and conversation always cheered her up and not even the prospect of falling flat on her face in a short while could dampen her spirits much. Returning to her room to find it was already almost nine, she quickly threw on her shorts and shirt before asking Belle one last time if she wanted to come along. Predictably, Anna left the room alone to wait in the hall for Kristoff and Sven.
The first thing she heard as she exited her room was a loud snapping sound from toward the entrance of the building. Rounding the corner she saw Kristoff and Sven talking about something, but was surprised to see Merida talking to a shorter girl of Asian descent who was leaning casually against the wall. As she approached the group, she discovered the origin of the snapping sound as the small girl blew a large bubble before it popped and the girl quickly retracted the gum into her mouth.
"There she is. Ready to go, Anna?" Kristoff said, clapping his hands together in anticipation, "oh, you know Merida, right? And this is her roommate, Ethel-"the blonde was cut off by a quick elbow to the ribs.
"Just call me 'Go Go' – I don't particularly like my name," the girl said as she headed for the door.
Anna cocked head to the side curiously as she followed the group outside. "She's something of a motocross starlet," Sven offered to the confused redhead, "she likes to go fast."
"Oh," was all Anna could muster as the cool autumn night air caressed her face and she discovered she was already behind as the other four had already begun running and were several paces ahead of her. Jolting forward, Anna did her best to catch up, determined not to be left behind.
By the time the group had reached the academic side of campus, Anna had fully abandoned the hope that she would be able to keep pace through the entire run. She slowed to a stop, hands on her knees panting as her lungs desperately tried to take in oxygen. Noticing the absence of her staggering footsteps, Kristoff and the rest of the group stopped and returned to her.
"I told you-"gasp "I-" gasp "don't-" gasp "run-" gasp. Anna staggered over to a nearby bench to sit down, immediately hunching over and clutching her sides in pain from the cramps.
Seeing her doubled over, Kristoff approached her, grasping her shoulders and pulling her up to a standing position, and keeping her back straight. "Here," he said, gesturing with his hand to imitate deep breaths, "if you hunch over it restricts your breathing. Stay standing and take deep breaths – it'll help."
Anna shot him an annoyed look, but did as she was told. Surprisingly, the blonde was right and soon the pain in her sides diminished enough that she could stand on her own, although her legs still burned.
"I'm just going to walk back. You guys can go on ahead – I don't want to hold you up," the redhead said admitting defeat, but happy she'd even made it as far as she had.
"At this hour? Alone?" Go Go rolled her eyes, "come on track star we're all walking with you," and wit that, she turned and started to walk back toward the residence halls.
"You really don't have to…" Anna offered, but was relieved that she wouldn't be alone. It was dark and she wasn't looking forward to the half mile walk back to the halls alone.
"Go Go's right, Anna. It's too late to be out by yourself. Besides, no one gets left behind. This is a running group not a free for all. Keep coming with us though, and you'll be able to make it in no time." The optimism was great, but Anna was touched by the sense of belonging she felt with the group. Even though they'd all only met recently, she felt like she could really get along with them, and that made her happier than she could explain.
The rest of the week passed mostly without incident. The only point of contention was Friday's chemistry class where Flynn managed to set Dori's eyebrows on fire with a Bunsen burner. Anna continued to join the running group and by Friday evening it was sorely apparent that the redhead was in need of additional workout attire.
"Anna? Wake up!" Anna rolled over, pulling both her pillow and blankets up over her head. "Anna, come on! It's nine in the morning; you said you wanted to go to the mall early!"
"Momentary lapse in sanity, I assure you. Just a few more hours?" Anna groaned, pressing her hands to her ears.
"No way sleepy-pants. Let's go!" Rapunzel tugged on the covers hard, dragging them off the bed onto the floor leaving Anna coverless and cold as she desperately grasped for the nonexistent refuge.
"Yeah, Anna. If Ican drag myself out of bed this early for this trip, you can," Aurora's voice added.
"I hate you two. You know that?" Anna muttered as she slowly dragged herself down from her bed, sorting through her closet for an outfit. Settling on a pair of jeans, a camisole, and a flannel, she headed for the shower throwing her cousin and Aurora a semi-annoyed glare as she passed.
Forty five minutes later, the three girls were driving through the city on their way to the mall when Aurora noticed Anna's head jerk to the right. Rapunzel, who was driving, hadn't noticed, but Aurora followed the redhead's gaze and was surprised to see the girls' RA entering Oaken's Thrift Shop on the corner just before the mall.
"Punzie, stop stop stop!" Anna practically shouted.
Startled, the brunette jerked the wheel to the right, pulling the car to the side of the road and almost colliding with a fire hydrant.
"Anna, what the hell?!" Rapunzel shouted, but the redhead was too busy concentrating on the windows of the shop to hear her cousin. Meanwhile the sky began to darken as clouds gathered above.
"Shhh, just… hang on a minute…" Anna waved off her cousin, eyes never leaving the windows of the shop.
The storefront was made entirely of glass to showcase the selection, but in this case, Anna was focused solely on Elsa's movements. The blonde wandered the store, fingering through random articles of clothing before selecting a pair of jeans. Holding them up to herself, she draped them over her arm before heading to another section and browsing some more. Every time Aurora or Rapunzel asked what was going on, Anna shushed them and continued to watch. Elsa had finally moved and selected a satchel. Seemingly content with her selections, Elsa approached the cashier, placing her items gently on the counter and waiting as they were rung up. Anna watched as the blonde handed the cashier a card – presumably her credit card. A moment later it was returned, but Anna saw Elsa's shoulder droop before the girl started flicking through her wallet. After a moment, Anna saw the cashier place the pants to the side and the satchel back to her as Elsa handed some bills to him.
Anna realized Elsa was turning toward the exit just in time to duck her head down, pulling Punz down with her, Aurora, unsure of what was going on, but sensing the urgency, ducked as well.
"Anna, would you please tell me what's going on? What are we doing!?" Rapunzel finally grabbed her cousin, shaking her slightly in frustration. The trio had been pulled over on the side of the road for almost a half an hour and it had started to rain.
Still not answering her question, Anna turned to the brunette and asked, "Punz, how long would it take to walk back to campus?"
"Anna what? I-"
"How long Punzie!?"
"I- I don't' know, an hour? Maybe two?" Anna hadn't heard the end of Rapunzel's reply as she was already out of the car.
"Elsa! Hey!" she shouted through the rain at the platinum blonde.
Turning around, Elsa swore under her breath as she recognized the voice. Did she see? Does she know? "Anna, hey…" she said, waving awkwardly as the redhead closed the gap between them.
"Hey, I thought that was you walking by. Is your car nearby?" Anna asked. Lying by omission isn't really lying, is it?
"I- I don't have a car. I walked here – it was so nice early this morning," Elsa replied, motioning to the rain.
"Oh, well we're headed to the mall. We could give you a lift back if you don't mind waiting – I just need to pick up a few things before heading back?" she said hopefully.
Elsa looked down the road in the direction of campus before looking back at Anna. The rain was coming down harder now and the two girls were drenched. Resigned, the blonde accepted and followed Anna back to the car, sliding into the back seat with Aurora.
Buckling in, Anna threw Rapunzel a pointed look, "Okay, let's go!"
Getting the hint, the brunette started the car up and soon the four girls arrived at the mall. Parking in the underground parking lot, the girls rode the elevator up to the first level of the mall before following Anna to an active wear store. The girls followed Anna around looking through racks of clothing, pointing out fun or cute items that Anna might like. In the end, Anna had selected four pairs of running shorts, two pairs of running pants, four more shirts like the one she owned, two tank tops, and four sports bras. Elsa's face turned akin to a tomato as she couldn't help but watch as Anna selected her bras from the 32C rack, briefly glancing down at her own chest and being consumed by a feeling of inadequacy as her own 30Bs peeked up through the collar of her shirt. Sighing, the blonde took a seat next to Rapunzel outside of the dressing room and waited as Anna entered to try on her selections.
Elsa teetered slightly back and forth as the silence permeated the trio, the background music and sounds of other customers deafeningly loud in her mind as she felt the other two girls' gazes on her. Shifting uncomfortably, Elsa drew her hands in close to her center, entwining her fingers as she nervously sat, desperately hoping Anna would be finished so they could move on. Every time she saw movement from around the corner, she perked up, only to have another woman or girl leave the changing rooms. Finally, Anna emerged in a pair of shorts and one of the tank tops.
The blonde immediately blanched as she discovered the tank top was made of mesh fabric that was slightly transparent, as the blonde could make out the faint outline of the redhead's bra underneath. Huh, snowmen. They're so cute. Who knew? You know, she's cute- oh my God, Elsa. Stop it.
"So, what do you think? Is it me?" Anna asked, giving the girls a spin so they could see all sides. Elsa's gaze was drawn to Anna's posterior as the girl teetered slightly, sticking her butt out for balance and accidentally giving Elsa quite the eyeful.
The three girls all nodded their approval as Anna turned back to face them, Elsa hoped that the warmth in the store could explain away the heat that had risen to her cheeks. If the redhead noticed, she didn't say anything and instead pranced back into the dressing room to change. A short time later she emerged with the pants on this time. Liking them as well, Anna returned to the dressing room one last time to change back into her clothes, gathering her selections before the girls headed to the checkout.
The three girls passed through the line and waited for Anna on the other side. Elsa watched as the items were rung up, blushing again as the bras were scanned one by one. Carefully glancing at the other girls, no one else seemed to be affected at all. Of course they're not affected – they aren't lusting after her you dolt. It was then that Elsa noticed the total – over four hundred dollars. Elsa's mouth dropped open as Anna nonchalantly handed the cashier a credit card – black in color, and signed the pad like it was nothing. The blonde suddenly felt very, very out of place as the realization hit her that she had most likely not spent that much on clothes in the last decade combined. Anna collected her bags and skipped merrily over to the other girls.
"I'm hungry – you girls up for some lunch?"
Rapunzel and Aurora nodded in agreement as Elsa just offered a weak smile. "I uh, I ate before, so I'm fine, but I'll come with you if you want," she said, her empty wallet feeling very heavy despite its lack of contents.
A few minutes later and the girls entered the food court. Elsa looked around and was amazed at the amount of food options there were. Her stomach growled just thinking about it, but fortunately, the noise of the nearby crowds covered it up. The girls found a table and set their belongings there. Elsa volunteered to hold down their places and was relieved to be left alone, even if for a moment.
Anna moved around the court, trying to decide what to eat. As she looked around, her gaze happened upon Elsa. The redhead noticed how Elsa's eyes caught on every stall, a look of longing on her face. She said she wasn'thungry," Anna thought, eyes aligning on the blonde's clothes. She was wearing the same pair of jeans that was missing the pocket. She also saw that Elsa's shirt had a small hole in the side. Combined with the blonde's earlier trip to Oaken's, and Anna finally realized – Elsa doesn't have money. I wonder… is it really that bad that she can't afford clothes or food? A look of pity crossed the girl's face before she had to quickly look away as Elsa glanced in her direction.
Anna resumed perusing the food stalls while contemplating the new information. Finally, deciding that at the current point in time, there wasn't much she could do about it, and as her stomach growled again, reminding her of her hunger, she decided to get some food for herself – and some for the blonde as well. Her only remaining task was figuring out how to do it without alerting the other girls to the blonde's predicament. Settling on the sandwich shop, Anna purchased a foot long turkey sandwich, chips, and a drink.
Much too soon for Elsa's liking, the girls returned, each with their own food – the smell reminding her stomach that it had been several hours since she had eaten anything. Wrapping her arms around her stomach, she watched as the other girls engaged in conversation while consuming their purchases. Soon conversation drifted to the upcoming Frost Ball semi-formal that the school was hosting. The girls brought Elsa into the conversation asking for details since she was helping to facilitate it. The blonde found the conversation useful as it distracted her from her hunger, but eventually it returned, and in a moment of relative quiet, her stomach gave her away with a loud and very embarrassing rumble.
Aurora and Rapunzel giggled as Elsa blushed and looked down – embarrassed. She contemplated excusing herself to the restrooms when she saw a tray slide into her field of vision, a half of a sandwich and chips residing on a plate. Elsa looked up and felt a swell of emotion in her chest as she gazed into Anna's eyes. The redhead held no judgment in her gaze, only empathy as she offered the remainder of her meal. Elsa's eyebrows raised, questioning whether or not Anna was sure of her offer, and was met only with a smile and a nod as Anna rose and moved into the throng of people passing by. Meanwhile, Aurora and Rapunzel lightly teased Elsa about her claim of not being hungry, but the blonde didn't care as she dug in to the sandwich. Elsa was surprised again when Anna returned with a drink and pushed it over to Elsa again with another smile – the blonde made a mental note to thank the girl somehow as she polished off some of the sandwich and washed it down with a refreshing sip of the lemonade that Anna had given her.
As Elsa finished her meal, conversation returned to the semi-formal and what each girl was wearing, only for the girls to discover that none of them had anything to go in. Rapunzel mentioned the dress shop in the mall and it was decided to pay the store a visit before returning to the school. Elsa reluctantly followed the trio to the shop, admiring all of the pretty dresses as they entered.
Elsa watched as the trio split immediately, Aurora eventually drawn to a blue, long-sleeved, shoulder-less gown with a petticoat and corset. Rapunzel toyed with a golden-colored gown before opting to go for a short-sleeved purple gown with a bodice that had corset boning and lacing. For Anna, the redhead gravitated toward a teal sleeveless satin dress with a black velvet bodice.
As the only person not selecting a dress, Elsa was voted to act as the critic for the other girls. When Aurora came out, Elsa nodded her approval – the girl was growing on Elsa. Kind, compassionate, and wow did that dress accentuate her boobs.
Elsa what the-, Aurora smiled and with one last spin, stood to the side, waiting for the other girls.
Rapunzel was next. Coming out, Elsa could appreciate that the dress suited Rapunzel, but was significantly more modest than Aurora's. The blonde had to admit, Rapunzel was beautiful. The brunette carried herself well and the dress helped to accentuate her assets.
And boy, are her assets nice. Elsa! The blonde mentally shook herself before giving the brunette a thumbs up of approval to the dress. Rapunzel moved to the side to stand next to Aurora as they three waited for Anna.
Elsa sucked in a breath as Anna emerged from the dressing rooms, the redhead's gaze immediately seeking out the blonde's approval or disapproval. Anna was pleased to see Elsa's flushed face and the fact that the platinum blonde couldn't seem to keep her eyes off her. The redhead did feel slightly self conscious as she watched Elsa's eyes roam up and down her body, taking in her appearance. Elsa's appreciation of her appearance would have been enough to approve Anna's dress selection, but the addition of a wolf whistle from her cousin solidified her choice even further.
Elsa's mind went blank as Anna entered her field of vision. Elsa's gaze following the hourglass form from the bottom of the dress up and in to Anna's hips before flaring out as her eyes appreciated the bodice, and what it contained. As her eyes continued upward, she saw the freckles littering the redhead's exposed shoulders and upper chest as she had a brief flashback that they do indeed continue down past the top of her bodice. Finally Elsa's eyes came to rest on Anna's face.
She really is beautiful.
The redhead may have had three critics, but her eyes were focused on Elsa's. Anna's cheeks had a slight tinge of red in them as she waited patiently for Elsa to drink in her appearance, the other two having already given their approval with smiles and nods. Another full minute later and Elsa also gave her consent, smiling sheepishly and throwing her a dorky thumbs up. The girls all piled back into the dressing room allowing Elsa to exhale the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.
Anna entered a changing room stall ready to shed the gown when she ran into a dilemma. As she reached backward to untie the lacing to the bodice, she discovered she was unable to reach the ties. Struggling for a moment and twirling in a circle like a dog chasing its tail, Anna stumbled and fell to her knees, releasing a frustrated grunt.
"Anna? You okay?" Aurora asked from the stall next door.
"I- yeah, I'm fine. I just can't get the lacing undone. Can you help?"
"I'm still getting out of my own," raising her voice slightly, she called, "Rapunzel, you available to help out the damsel in distress over here?"
"Still getting out of my dress," Rapunzel was next to the entrance to the dressing room and yelled, "Elsa! Get in here! Anna needs help!"
Elsa, not realizing what was going on, only that Anna needed assistance, burst into the dressing room, calling out for the redhead. One of the doors cracked open slightly and Elsa took that as her cue to enter.
"Anna, are you okay? I- oh… oh my…" Elsa trailed off as she saw Anna, her back turned toward the blonde, shoulder straps down her arms while glancing over her shoulder, cheeks alight with a furious blush.
"Hi, Elsa… I uh- I'm stuck. Could you help me? Just- just loosen the lacing so I can get out of this thing, okay?" Anna stuttered, embarrassed at her predicament – although more so at her inability to change on her own than Elsa being in a confined space with her.
Elsa on the other hand was terrified. Her hormones coursed through her veins at a speed and intensity rivaled only by her blood – rushing through her leaving her skin reddened at every pulse. With trembling hands and bated breath, Elsa's hands moved to Anna's back, her fingers seeking out the ends of the ties that held the bodice tight to her lithe frame. Pulling gently on the lacing, she watched as the knot disappeared until she was pulling at nothing but the lacing itself. Letting out the air in her lungs slowly, the blonde took a step back as Anna turned to face her, hands clutching the front of the gown to her chest, her fair skin slightly reddened as the proximity of the blonde finally took its toll.
"Thanks. I can't believe I couldn't reach. You're a life saver, Els-"the redhead said as she offered the blonde a wave of gratitude. Her words were cut off however as the front of her gown slid down slightly at her release, revealing a significant portion of her upper chest.
Elsa's eyes nearly bugged out of her skull as she stared helplessly as Anna's gown slipped further and further downward eventually stopping as the shoulder straps reached the crux of her elbows revealing the entirety of her chest as well as the upper portion of her midriff.
The two girls froze momentarily as the shock took hold. Anna was the first to recover, frantically grabbing and rearranging cloth in an effort to conceal herself, the rapid movements snapping Elsa out of her daze as she turned quickly to make a hasty exit, only to run face first into the changing room door. Backing up abruptly clutching her face, her feet became tangled in the folds of Anna's gown and she stumbled backward, flailing her arms out in an effort to catch herself, succeeding only in smacking Anna in the jaw as she fell to the ground.
Meanwhile, Anna, in an attempt to catch the falling blonde, abandoned her attempt to cover herself and thrust her arms forward, wrapping them around the blonde. Initially, Anna's arms were wrapped around Elsa's midsection while the blonde fell, but as the girl fell further, Anna's arms slid up and extended until she was bent over, her own chest resting on Elsa's head as she attempted to hoist her up by her breasts. The awkward position, combined with Elsa landing on the folds of Anna's gown, pulled Anna down to the ground on top of Elsa as the blonde continued to fall backward, Anna's face landing squarely in the blonde's lap.
The two girls lay still for a moment, Anna on top of Elsa, the redhead's arms trapped beneath her body, her hands still resting upon Elsa's chest. The same thought ran through both girls heads, with no answer apparent.
What... the hell... just happened?!
Finally, collecting her wits, Anna scrambled off of Elsa and gathered her gown around her, taking a seat on the nearby bench, pointedly avoiding Elsa's eyes as the blonde picked herself up off the ground, brushing off her clothes while also avoiding looking in the redhead's direction.
"So uh, thanks, Elsa. I'll- I'll see you out there in a minute, okay?" Anna stammered as Elsa carefully departed the changing room, her normally pale face contrasting so much that a new color of red was threatening to be formed.
As the door clicked shut behind Elsa, Anna dropped her face into her hands rolling her eyes at herself and the recent events. What is my life? Holy crap this is ridiculous. Standing up, Anna quickly shed the gown and donned her jeans. As she was putting her bra back on, a thought hit her – My boobs were on her head. Like, what the actual f- wait, Anna, why are you thinking about this? Stop it. She's not interested! …even if she was staring… and turned on… and you were turned on… and oh my God okay I'm done. Shoving her shirt down and adjusting it, she gathered the gown and made her way out of the dressing room area to join the other girls.
Against her better judgment, Anna took a peek at Elsa and found the pale girl was still battling her rampant blush, but had it under better control than in the changing room. "Right. So, everyone ready to head back?" Anna asked the assembled girls before being met with nods of agreement.
The girls had almost made it to the registers when Anna heard a high pitched squeal from her left. Turning, she watched as Aurora darted off to a display, pulling Elsa along with her. "Elsa! You have to try this on! It's perfect!" The blonde exclaimed, continuing to drag a protesting Elsa along behind her as Rapunzel and Anna followed behind.
The girls stopped before a gorgeous ice blue strapless gown with long off shoulder sleeves. The ensemble was completed with a floor length train. Elsa had to admit, it was stunning. She also had to admit, that there was no way she could afford it – especially at five hundred dollars. The blonde smiled at her blonde counterpart and admitted the dress was beautiful, but that she didn't have the money to buy it.
"Well at least try it on. Come on, it'll be fun! Besides, if you like it you can go get some money and come back, right?" Aurora said, retrieving the gown and thrusting it into Elsa's protesting hands before dragging her off toward the dressing rooms, Rapunzel throwing Anna a smirk before trotting off after them.
"Girls, she doesn't have to-"but her words were lost as Rapunzel, Aurora, and Elsa were all several paces ahead of her. Elsa can't afford it now. She can't afford it later. How do you girls not see that? All you're doing is embarrassing her… and probably making her depressed. Anna understood that the girls were trying to make Elsa feel included, but their efforts were going to do the exact opposite, and they didn't even realize it. Hurrying to catch up to the girls, an idea formed in the redhead's mind that pleased her, and so she waited.
When Elsa emerged from the dressing room, Anna felt her heart stop. The blonde, in Anna's opinion, had always been beautiful, but the dress… the dress allowed her to transcend mere beauty and become something entirely beyond description. While Rapunzel and Aurora whistled their approval, Anna was rendered speechless, her mouth hanging slightly open as Elsa hunched her shoulders, clearly uncomfortable with being put on display. The dress hugged Elsa's form perfectly accentuating her figure. Anna mentally scolded herself for not realizing it sooner, but Elsa had hips that made Anna want to grab hold and never let go. Much sooner than the redhead was okay with, Elsa returned to the dressing rooms and came out shortly after with the dress in her arms.
"Okay okay, I tried it on, can we put it back now? If anything were to happen to it I-"
"No." Anna almost shouted before she realized what she was doing. The three girls looked at her in confusion as Anna approached Elsa, taking the dress from her and draping it over her arm along with her own selection. "Okay, let's go."
Still confused, the three girls followed Anna, assuming she wanted to put the dress back herself for some odd reason. As Anna stopped short and entered the checkout queue, an idea of what she had planned dawned on Elsa, and the blonde quickly advanced to whisper in her ear.
"Anna, what are you doing? That dress is too long for you," she said, thinking at first perhaps Anna had intended to purchase it for herself.
Turning her head to Elsa, Anna smiled before whispering back, "Well it's a good thing you're the one who'll be wearing it then, isn't it?"
Elsa's eyes grew wide as she made to retrieve the dress from Anna, "No way, Anna. That is way too expensive! I can't allow it."
Sighing, Anna turned to fully face the blonde, "Elsa, think of it as a thank you present – for not embarrassing me on my first day, okay?"
"A 'thank you' wha- no, no way. That dress is five hundred dollars, Anna! I-"
"Don't worry about it. Let's just say I have some money saved up, okay?" Anna interjected.
"No it is most certainly not okay. Look, if you really want to buy me a dress, let's go find one that's not so-"
"Oops," Anna made an exaggerated motion of setting the dress down on the checkout counter while grinning at the blonde.
"Anna!" the blonde hissed as she watched the cashier ring up both dresses.
Turning her back to Elsa, Anna ran her credit card through the machine and finalized the transaction. "too late now," she smiled as she handed the garment bag containing Elsa's dress to the blonde, "guess you'll just have to wear it, huh?" she finished before skipping out of the store, absolutely giddy with excitement at the prospect of seeing Elsa in the dress again, and for a long period of time to boot.
Elsa stood dumbfounded in the checkout line holding the bag until Rapunzel cleared her throat behind her, forcing the blonde to move forward and out of the store. Rushing over to the redhead, she was about to start anew on her protests when Anna held up a finger to her.
"Ah ah ah! No returns. No exchanges. Anna's orders," after a brief pause, Elsa watched uncertainty cross Anna's face, "do- do you like it?"
Giving the redhead a half smile, she drew her into a hug, pressing their bodies together tightly, "I love it," she said, a single tear running down her cheek, "thank you. Thank you so much."
The smile alone would have been enough to make the purchase worth it to Anna, but the hug sent her over the moon. Grinning like an idiot, Anna motioned to the other girls, "Come on, let's get out of here."
The sun was low in the sky when the girls finally pulled onto campus. Bidding each other farewell upon reentering the dorms, the girls went their separate ways. Anna, after placing her new purchase in her closet, retrieved some of her new running gear and put it on, feeling very happy with herself. As usual, she met Kristoff, Sven, Merida, and Go Go in the hall and the group set off at a leisurely pace. The group made it back to the dorms after a couple hours and the sun was beginning to set. Anna was ready to go inside and catch a shower before heading for dinner when she felt a presence coming up behind her and the rest of the group followed by a wolf whistle.
"My oh my. Ethel, you are looking mighty fine this evening. How's about you and I go for a stroll, just the two of us?" Anna rolled her eyes as she recognized the voice of Flynn as the group turned to watch. Flynn was leaning up against one of the fountains, attempting to look as suave as possible, and, of course, failing miserably. Anna heard a growl as Go Go was instantly annoyed at the use of her given name.
"Okay, Flynn," Go Go said, much to Anna and everyone else's surprise. The Korean girl tossed Sven a glance before advancing on the boy, Sven not far behind. Flynn took a step toward Go Go, clearly surprised that his 'technique' had seemingly worked. "If!" Flynn stopped in his tracks, waiting for the addendum, "If you can do two things," Go Go finished.
"Anything for you, baby," Flynn did his best to toss Go Go a seductive grin.
"First, you have to stay dry," she started, as Flynn shrugged, not understanding.
"Okay, no problem baby," he said.
"Second, you have to prove your vocabulary – you see, I like a man who is well-versed in the English language," Go Go said, barely containing a grin, "you need to come up with a synonym for high jinks that starts with an 's'." Anna's eyes grew wide as she did her best to contain the laughter that threatened to burst from her lips.
Flynn thought for a moment, and finally, his eyes lit up as he exclaimed, "Shenanigans! It's shenanigans, right?!"
Go Go nodded before stepping to the side as Sven strode over and punched Flynn square in the chest. Not hard enough to cause significant pain, but enough to send the smaller boy stumbling backwards straight into the fountain as the remainder of the group erupted into the laughter they had been containing.
As Flynn came sputtering to the surface, Go Go put one foot up on the ledge of the fountain, "Flynn dear… you really need to work on your approach." Helping him out of the fountain, Go Go rolled her eyes at him before moving back to the rest of the group as they reentered the dorms, splitting off to their separate ways.
A few hours later and Anna was sitting at her desk, content with a full stomach. Belle had gone to watch a movie with Adam, so she had the room to herself. Thinking back on the day, she found herself incredibly happy at being able to help Elsa purchase something that would make her feel as beautiful as she was naturally. That happiness was breached suddenly, her smile turning to a grimace, as events further in her past bubbled to the surface.
This is different, Anna scolded herself. Elsa's not like that. Besides, she really needs the help. "This is different,"Anna reiterated to herself.
Thinking back to Elsa, the smile returned as she had another idea. Moving her mouse to wake up her computer, Anna opened up her web browser before clicking the address bar. After only a moment's hesitation, Anna navigated to Coach's website and began browsing bags.
An hour later and Anna had selected a bag, purchased it, and had moved on to various clothing stores she frequented. Purchasing several gift cards, she smiled as she entered her credit card information again and clicked the 'finalize payment' button. This is different. She is different.
Elsa sat cross-legged on her bed, practice pad on her lap as she practiced through her rudiments, increasing tempo with each completed series. Across from her, hanging on her wardrobe was the garment bag that contained the most expensive piece of clothing, bar none, that she had ever come into possession of – and it was all hers. Elsa's sticking became jumbled as her thoughts drifted to the spunky redhead who had had no problem purchasing a five hundred dollar dress for someone who had rejected her. Elsa let her sticks fall to the bed as a sudden wave of depression hit her like a truck.
I'm a terrible person. I've done nothing but hurt this girl and she's still there, trying to be nice to me. Trying to help me. Elsa, for a moment, tried to rationalize, I mean, it's not my fault. I just don't like girls like that, right? Her attempt was short-lived however as the feelings she could no longer refute came rushing at her.
"Why… why can't I just accept you, Anna?" the blonde asked the air in front of her, images of the redhead flashing through her mind at rapid speed. After a short while, recent memories hit her and her memory flashed several images and feelings through her head at once – the view of Anna as the dress fell from her chest, the feeling of her breasts pressed against her, and suddenly a rush of warmth flooded Elsa's core. Elsa hadn't felt this kind of urgency in years, and before she knew what she was doing, she had stripped off her pants and shirt, her practice pad and sticks quickly discarded to the floor as she sprawled out on her back, her left hand working at the front clasp of her bra as her right snaked its way down her abdomen.
Elsa knew before her hand even reached her panty line that this would be fast. Her hips were already thrusting up to meet her fingers as they crossed the threshold. Elsa let out a guttural moan as her fingertips brushed the top of her lips, the name of her desire leaving her lips in reverence.
"Anna…"
And all at once, Elsa stopped. She pulled her hand from her underwear and let her left hand fall to the side as she turned on her side and curled into a fetal position. The fire in her core raged on, but Elsa couldn't bring herself to work for the relief she so desperately wanted, no, needed.
I don't deserve it. Elsa thought miserably as the flood gates opened and the tears streamed in torrents down her cheeks, soaking her comforter. I don't deserve you, Anna. I-I think I'm falling for you, but I just- I just can't. Elsa moaned again, but this time in agony as she clutched her pillow and sobbed loudly into it until she was exhausted and her tear ducts had long since dried up.
