Random Song One Shots Chapter 35: Two Songs With One Stone, a grojband fanfic

I'm back again! YEAH! Alright so this is a request by three different people so I decided that I'm knocking out two birds with one stone today! That's why I figured to write it first. The SONGS are Smile by Avril Lavinge and Superluv by Shawn Dawson as the ships are Corney and Larrie. ENJOY MY MUSICAL READERS! :D

I was writing in my lyric book as we all waited for Core to arrive. Kin was working on a new invention that will probably kill us all, as Kon was trying to make sure him drums won't get blown up... Again... Anyway I was writing down a the last part of my song when Kin's invention blew up again. Prefect timing. "I'll get the fake eyebrows again." No one knew that I could write so I hid my lyric book in my pocket before Core came in happy and then started laughing at Kin. "Dude! Your eyebrows are gone AGAIN!" I smiled at this. Me and Core have been friends sense we were kids when we bumped into each other when we were five. All he said was Hey and asked me what my name was... That was all he had to do to get me hooked on him. I had a crush on him sense he thought most girls had cooties. He used to say to Kin and Kon that I was the special one of a kind girls that didn't had it so they wouldn't freak out when I came over... but instead they just thought of me of a guy instead. I'm happy they noticed I was a girl when I turned 14 last year. That's when puberty decided to hit all of us, especially me, like a boulder. Core never noticed though. He just treated me like his normal way he did by calling me Lanes,Dude,Bro,Pal,Buddy, and Fella. It hurts a lot but I got used to it. I smiled as I seen Core trying to help Kin put on fake eyebrows for our next gig. It was going to be tonight and that's when I'm going to let it all out. Everything, from him always thinking I'm crazy, to the first day we met and lastly to show him he's the only reason I smile. Ever sense my dad died he pretty much is. He was my only friend at the time so he was the only one that knew from the band too. "Need help you two?" I walked up to them seeing that Corey was messing up badly. "NOW YOU STEP IN! I LOOK LIKE A CLOWN!" I started laughing after Core gave me the eyebrow pencil and a wet towel. "Don't worry dude. I'll get ya fixed." He relaxed knowing I actually knew what I was doing. "So Core anything new about the gig before we go?" He nodded. "Well we're still performing." Kin and Kon cheered. "But we're no longer the final act." The twins frowned as I finished up Kin's face. "So who's the final act then if we're the opening now?" He shrugged. "Some band named Red Romance. Weird name but it seems that they're good enough to kick The Newmans out of the gig and force us to be the opening." We befriended The Newmans after we found out Kin and Kon had crushes on Kim and Konnie. Me and Lenny got along because we both had crushes on people that never noticed. That's why we're helping each other out tonight. "We better get ready then. We're gonna rock!" Corey smiled at me before he fist pumped the air with the twins. "YEAH!"

After we got to the gig we had ten minutes to get ready. I used this time to talk to Lenny about our surprise for Core and Carrie. I was lucky he got his band to come early and I was lucky Core believed me when I said I had to go to the bathroom as an excuse. I was always a bad liar so I was lucky Core's obvious and didn't notice. "So you finished our song right?" He nodded. "Yeah I finished it today before I got Care and the gang to get here early." I smiled. "Awesome. Then everything's set. Carrie will finally know how you feel." He smiled. "And Corey will finally know your feelings too. Good luck." "You too." It was ten minutes later that me and the band performed.

It was tine for me and Lens to get ready and I luckily was unnoticed when I left the band to get a baggy green hood that had hearts on it on and get my guitar. I seen Lenny behind stage tuning his bass as well as him wearing a blue hood with a bleeding heart on the side. "Ready?" He nodded. "Dustin and Daniel are ready as well." Dustin and Daniel are my cousins that happily and freely wanted to help out with the situation... Also they owed me from saving their buts from Trina when they were 13. "Alright then. Lets rock." We walked up on stage after we covered our heads with our hoods to hide our selves. I walked up to the mic with my guitar in a death grip thanks to the eyes on me. "Hey everyone." I took off my hood along with Lenny at this point. "We're Red Romance." The crowd cheered as Core and Carrie had shocked looks on their faces. "You guys might know me and Lenny from Grojband and The Newmans. Well we decided to perform together to show two people in our lives how special they are to us." I nodded toward Dustin to start the drum beat. "Core. I hope you hear this."

I was shocked as Lanes sang. I didn't know she could write,sing, and most of all I didn't know she liked me back. I then smiled and turned to Carrie. "I bet you that Lenny will be singing about you." She smiled and looked at her bassist on stage as he played. "There's no way that he'll be singing about me." I frowned. "Hey. I didn't think Laney would sing about me. Don't be so negative." She then smiled after Laney finished. I decided to yell something to her. "You rocked Lanes!" I noticed she smiled as she switched to her bass as Lenny switched to a guitar.

I took a deep breathe as I held my green guitar tight in my hand. "Hey everyone. You might know me from the rocking band The Newmans." The crowd cheered as I smiled and put a rock sign in the air with my free hand. "Well as Laney said we're perform for special people and I'm singing this for Carrie Beff. I hope she hears me." I nodded my head to Daniel to start off his keyboard.

I tilted my head as she giggled. "Yes you goof ball." I smiled and blushed at her as I mentally yelled to my self, MOST AWESOME DAY EVER!

I walked over to Core holding my arm worried about what he'll say. "Lanes." I looked up to see him smiling. "I guess I'll have to admit now that your the reason why I smile too." I smiled as he hugged me making me easily blush. "That was awesome Lanes. But you know you could of just told me you liked me back. I blushed deeper. "Y-You like me back?" He smiled at me. "Yeah! Why wouldn't I Lanes?" I smiled as I mentally yelled, MOST AWESOME DAY EVER!
